I also love the whole sea idea you’re right most people go for the common yet pretty flowers for sleeves but the ocean is super unique and I’ve never seen that before!

A mantaray would either look really epic if it is big or really cute and dainty if it is small.I think you should go for it
I am studying marine biologie and i was debating so hard between manta and orca! Getting an orca soon! Defenitely worth getting those beautiful creatures immortalised somehow!

I love love love the sleeve! That's such a cool idea! I already know that I want all my tattoos (I only have one right now, with pretty clear plans for my next two) to be nature themed and I really like the idea of having it attached to a place. Maybe I'll get a pelican to represent the beach where my grandparents retired!

Your sleeve is really pretty and unique, makes me think of a textbook type sleeve if that makes sense? How you have a single of each sort of fish/etc. and they're all just place about like it would be in a school text book. It's gorgeous looking and I can't wait to see it when it's done, honestly!!

i read that black and grey actually fade faster because grey ink is already broken down from black; the same way the sun does to color tattoos, but since it's already lighter, it happens more quickly? but i've also read that color fades faster so there could've been other factors
bumble black ink stays the best, my artist had been tattooing for over 30 years and so she knows lol but lots of factors play into the fading of tattoos
A shipwreck or an eel would look nice, fellow Oregonian here as well. Whenever I see bulb kelp I just think of my siblings chasing after me with it 😫

Colors actually are best for pale skin! They show up way better.
CindyLouWhox3 they fade faster. Yes the SHOW up better on pale people but they don't stay any better than black ink
