Zach, I want you to know that this just spoke to my life. You tackled every part of how I've been feeling as an unfinished project man. I need to just man up and follow everything you just said in this video. Thank you so much.
WAIT A DANG MINUTE I DIDNT know the other guy from the bless God channel is this good at storytelling bruh you should’ve started a channel years ago ago this is great
This makes me think of the scripture "Hope deffered makes the heart sick." Maybe a project can resemble our hopes and aspirations, while an incomplete project is a looming reminder of a failed dream.
Amazing camera work aside, linking projects to manhood and self-worth blew my mind! Recently I tried to explain why I, a 27 year-old unemployed dude in desperate need of a job, was going to prioritize finishing my long-term background masterpiece project that has been taking years longer than planned. I struggled with explaining it and they didn't really buy my explanation. But now it makes sense: the project is an open wound, and working on it is healing it!
Zach. This was an amazing video!!! I love the subject matter, how you filmed this, edited this, the scriptures and wisdom you shared, this was awesome!!! I definitely needed this as well. Thank you, man. This was amazing
Unfinished projects is a toxic trait that has been in my family for generations. This was refreshing to watch because I'm trying everything I can to end that curse. lol Great idea sharing the proverb! Maybe next time have the verse up on screen. I'm a visual dude so others might be as well. Also your framing and lighting was excellent. Thanks Zach!
Zach, this is so cool! I wonder how you managed to make such a high end video with really useful message by using "just" Blocked time (communicated) + Doing manageable project + while keeping your workspace clean. This seems like complicated project, but I guess, it is manageable for you. Keep going strong and thank you for these golden family-working-life tips packaged in such a fun way!
You are talented sir. Please do more of this, practical reality stuff. Kind of like Van Neistat. We don’t need another channel that’s hot takes on hot button issues.
Production quality of this is great! Hope you grow fast. I've found if you force yourself to finish projects before starting a new one, you build the discipline to be able to complete them and gather satisfaction from the completion rather than the ideation to start. But what determines complete? I could walk away from this channel and feel like I completed something. But at what point is a youtube channel complete? Do you set a subscriber goal? A certain message you want to get out?
@@zachsperrazzo True. Just the improvement and personal growth from one video to the next is already an accomplishment. And it all translates to other areas of life
Probably about 5-6 hours of filming (but doing projects like cleaning the garage too) and probably about 6 hours of editing in 1-2 hour chunks cuz I had to find the time to get it done when there was nothing going on
I can't even be bothered to turn on my 3d printer anymore. My benchtop mill and lathe have never been used, with my mill not even having a permanent home yet. I never finished assembling my shapeoko cnc router. Heck, half the time it's a struggle to finish a RUclips video. Nothing of mine is ever clean. There is so much clutter. I probably need some meds. 😂
This was incredible
Aye thanks my dude!!
This cinematography
Thank you for watching!
That's what I was gonna say lol
