Tatiana 100% decided what parts of She Hulk would make it from the comics and what would not. For example, boobs or the fact she was almost a nymphomaniac she rejected. In fact she went the opposite direction making SH sexually awkward and a dating mess. Ryan Reynolds dropped the mercenary, assassin, sexist, purposefully insulting, dick and fart jokes parts of Deadpool. Compare the animated DP and Video game DP with the movie version of DP, they are different. What we have here is success being rewarded and failing being cut. Tattiana refused to bring what fans liked about SH to the screen because she personally disagreed with it. Ryan sold his soul to bring what fans like to the screen.
Another reason I might say Deadpool suceeded and She-hulk did not was that it was a movie vs. show. It was 2 hours of comedy and well-placed jokes that fit the characters, as well as action and a plotline that made people want to keep watching. She hulk in total is just 5 hours of "the incredible feminist", with the actual "hulk" part feeling like it was added as an afterthought.
She Hulk did better? Even in the multiverse there is not a single timeline where that happened.
