    Ironically my Supra is the exact same as yours but instead of a forged carbon fiber spoiler I just have a normal weaved carbon fiber spoiler.

    My bmw 430i M sport basicly same car....I'm at 80,000 miles zero issues. 7 oil changes $35 each....I do it. One jug of 5w-30 and a filter. Very easy change!

    I noticed you have an automatic transmission - do you ever use manual mode with the paddles?
    I have a Subaru BRZ automatic but I use manual mode with the paddles 100% of the time, which surprised me. When I bought it I figured I'd leave it in automatic mode but found that I didn't like when it shifted even in Sport mode. I love being able to choose when to shift without the involvement of a clutch pedal and shifter. The rev-matching is cool too. And yes, I do know how to drive a stick - I learned a long time ago on an old Ford Probe. My car only has one mod - I removed the sound tube pumping engine noise into the cabin. As far as I'm concerned it doesn't need anything else, except maybe a tune to run on 91 octane gas and remove the infamous torque dip.

    Hey man loved the video, I have a deposit down for a 2024 model. I am 21 and my big worry is insurance. I have a couple accidents on my record that were not my fault. I've been rear ended twice and am kind of scared of a HUGE insurance payment. Do you have any accidents on your record that are your fault or not?.

    • @turtleoverlord4998
      @turtleoverlord4998 Год назад

      It shouldn’t affect you tbh i had an accident on record that wasnt my fault and when i switched insurances nothing came up and I asked and the agent tell me they only see at fault accident but im not 100% sure its the same everywhere

    What is it with people that own Supras that they can't change their own oil? Amazing to me someone would rather pay 100+ for someone else to just change the fkng oil, lol. Even if I was rich I would change my own oil in a few minutes rather than pay 100 - 200$

    Says the Supra 3.0 has a fuel tank of 52 liters. 1l is around 0.26 gallons, 1 gallon being 3.79 liters. So the fuel tank is about 13.72 gallons when filled up entirely. If you pay around 40 bucks for the full tank you must have a liter price of around 77c. Gas here costs CHF 1.98. Filling the Supra to the brim here would set you back CHF 102.96 which equals about USD 117.37. You do that 3x a month you're at USD 353 per month for gas here. I swear we're being screwed over by the US and the Saudis, no offends.

      He said he'll pay it off in 2 years

    • @walkemdown4127
      @walkemdown4127 2 месяца назад

      That’s really good actually if he pays it off sooner. Longer term so lower monthly payment that he can comfortably afford & then pay it off early. But yeah, if he’s just gonna pay the minimum every month thats pretty wild lol

    • @stocksxbondage
      @stocksxbondage 2 месяца назад +1

      If he intends to keep the car for 7 years, it’s cheaper to pay the minimum payment and put the extra payments into a high yield savings account paying 4-5%. If he needs it, he can pull from it, but if work goes well, he’ll make more money in the HYSA than paying off the car early at a 3% rate. Even a multimillionaire might take the financing deal to get a 3% rate. If you need to extend the loan to get the low rate, do that, then drop the big down payment as your first payment now your principle is low with a low rate 🤯 Just be ready for the high monthly payment, but you’ll pay it off in half the time.

    Is the supra 2.0 more reliable than the BMW 330i ? I mean overall....... Also I am of 1,88 cm and 100 kg... would I fit comfortably?

    • @carboydorifutoparty3976
      @carboydorifutoparty3976 Год назад

      The 2.0 is practically the same in and out as it is in any bmw really. And the car is pretty body specific cause even some tall folk fit in mk5s just fine but it's still pretty body specific so you'd have to sit in one and see(tho there's a bar behind the seat that can be removed that gives a couple more inches of seat room if needed).

      I'm pretty sure he got the wrong quote for his oil change. What he quoted was for a regular Toyota, my 21 Supra is $250+ per change. I got around it by buying the oil change package. I paid a little over $600 for 5 oil change.

      Oil changes on the Supra is $250+ here in Milwaukee. You buy a BMW, you're gonna pay BMW prices for maintenance.

      The B58 is probably one of the most reliable units BMW has produced. Toyota helped further improve the B58 when the Supra was in development. Haven’t heard of any issues from units that have 70k+ miles. Plus you can order parts off FCP, free lifetime warranty on all parts.
