****RECIPES****
(Feel free to be creative and change the seasonings and ingredients as you see fit. This is a very versatile way to create a meal. )
Warm Veggie Nourish Bowl
Roasted potatoes
Roasted Cabbage
Steamed Broccolini
Steamed Green Peas
Steamed Corn
Pickled Shallot
Fresh Shredded Carrot
Fresh Diced Green Onion
Spicy-smoked Cashew Cream Sauce
Roasted Potatoes (use desired amount of potatoes and seasoning is done to taste)
Pre-baked potatoes, diced
Red Wine Vinegar
Trader Joe's 21 Seasoning Salute
Season the diced potatoes with both the red wine vinegar and seasoning. Roast at 350 F for 15-20 minutes.
Roasted Cabbage (use desired amount of cabbage and seasoning is done to taste)
Red wine vinegar
Garlic powder
Balsamic Vinegar
Smoked paprika
Black Pepper
Cabbage, shredded
Mix all the seasonings and liquids together to taste to create a smoky-sweet and tangy dressing. Pour onto the cabbage and mix through well. Roast in the oven for 15-20 mins at 350 F.
Cashew Cream
1 cup of raw cashews
1.5 cups of water
sriracha to taste
red pepper flakes to taste
black pepper flakes to taste
smoked paprika
2-3 cloves of garlic
Directions:
Soak cashews overnight or boil 10 minutes to soften for blending.
Then add 1.5 cups of water and the cashews to a blender along with 2-3 cloves of garlic and blend until silky smooth.
Pour out about 1 cup of cream into a bowl and then add the rest of the ingredients to taste.
The remainder can be used for other things throughout the week or you may freeze it for up to 6 months. I like to freeze it in an ice cube tray for small portions as needed.
Shallots
1 sliced shallot
Bring a small pot of vinegar to boil
Once boiling, remove from heat.
Add date syrup to taste
Allow to sit 10-20 minutes to soak up the flavors. Then remove from the vinegar to serve on your bowl!

I like the spicy dressing and bowl idea!!

Yay! So glad you like it! I love it too❤️
Think you for sharing!!
No problem! Hope you can try it!
Love your videos! The dressing and veggies look delish! Good idea to add the vinegar and balsamic before baking the veggies!
I just made your taco " meat". Omg! So good. I'm planning on making enchiladas with the leftovers but I can see putting it into a bowl too. Thank you for inspiring someone old enough to be your grandmother!
Awe thanks! Enchiladas with that sounds so good 😊 I’m glad you like it!!
I purchased the same glass steamer about 1 month ago. Love it. Your nourish bowl looks very good. Will try your cream sauce with it too. Thanks Stormi
I love it too! So easy and convenient lol. Thank you. Hope you do. I really love the sauce!
This is such a great idea! 👏☺️ gonna try this next time I have leftovers sitting in my fridge 😉
Definitely a great way to use leftovers! 💚💚💚
This looks great! Could you share what your son eats / what you cook for him, or how you modify your meals for him? :)
Thank you. I usually give him the same thing we’re eating. He may or may not touch it. But I always include at least one thing on his plate I know he loves and will eat. Maybe 2 if I know it’s something he probably won’t try. I just try to make what we eat as normal and I try not to distinguish between kid food and adult food. Instead it’s just food. I do not monitor him outside the home when he’s with other family as far as food is concerned. I try to lay the foundation of healthy foods at home. And hopefully it will impact and influence his choices as an adult.
Yummy. Wonder if you could use white beans in the place of the cashews? 🤔
Yes! Or I like to boil cauliflower until it’s very tender and blend it up just like the cashew cream!
Looks yummy! I am going to try that cashew cream🙂
Thank you! Yes, try it. It’s so delicious 💚
We made fajita bowls for dinner! An oil free take on what we used to get at our fav Mexican restaraunt in Florida.
Sounds good! Have you tried this sauce? Bet it would go great with fajita bowls!
highcarbhannah.co/recipes/roasted-pepper-sauce/
Ohh yum! What’s your fajitas bowl made of? I’ve never done a fajita bowl and it sounds like a must. I’ve done burritos bowl and taco bowl!
@@PlantBasedStorm I put in pinto beans, onions mushrooms and peppers, and zucchini and summer squash. Mixed the rice with cauliflower rice, and had it with avocado. Seasoned with a fajita seasoning blend I got from Thrive market. All over a bed of red leaf lettuce. It's delicious!
@@courtneyblue15 no I haven't, but I will! Thanks!
@@BettyHorn it sounds heavenly! Mexican food is my language 💚
Stormy, that looks delicious! I am trying to get away from any kind of even vegan butters, even in small quantities. I am always looking for any kind of vegan dressings and sauces. That looks like a really good base! Thanks!
I’ve been making a citrus vinaigrette that I’m loving. Juice of one orange, juice of one lemon, Tablespoon of stone ground mustard, 1 tsp of rice vinegar, and a little water. For a thicker dressing, I sometimes add silken tofu but not much. I can’t handle spicy stuff. Lol
Sounds delicious 😋 thank you for sharing!!
This sounds delicious! I will try this as I adore a citrus ANYTHING but especially a vinaigrette! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
Yum! That cashew sauce looks amazing! Love this!!
Thank you! 💚it is really good I love spicy 🌶 lol
You like a spicy dressing! But it sounds good 😋. And I love the Sofrito from Trader Joe’s. It adds so much flavor!
Lol yes!! But you could make it without the red pepper flakes or sriracha and I think it would be great too 💚
@@PlantBasedStorm true! I like those for the flavor but I would just use less lol!
Looks so good! Thanks for the ideas. Never would have thought to put the vinegar on the cabbage or potatoes before roasting. And that cashew cream...yum
Lol yes I need flavor haha! Hope you give it a try!
That looks delicious! Thank you for the ideas.
Thank you! Hope you try it! 💚
That sauce looks amazing, great idea, I'll try it on my veggies platters too!
Thank you! 💚💚it is really, really yummy lol
Since you’re a fan of spice, have you tried High Carb Hannah’s roasted red pepper sauce? It’s so good drizzled on bowls or as a fry dip, and the hemp seeds make it a little less fattening!
highcarbhannah.co/recipes/roasted-pepper-sauce/
I haven’t thank you for the suggestion. You can also make this dip with cauliflower cream 😀
I hate vinegar doesn’t really bring out the vinegar taste
where are you you are missed
I put out a new video today!! Link below! 💚 🌱

Do you use the word "nourish" in daily life? I didn't think so. I think RUclipsrs may think it means super nutritious foods to make you super healthy. An ultimate healthy dish. Cliche is what it is. Chiche. Kinda like saying Walmart haul! Please go look up the definition of the word.
That’s really rude. Stormy is amazing..... go elsewhere!
@@chantelmcfall5502 I know its rude. That word is so stupid. Ill leave now.
