Could you please tell me what material you would use to back a cloth seat panel with please .The original material is a Plaid /Tartan pattern heavy weight upholstery woollen cloth . Would you glue a scrim or foam to it or leave it as is .
Thanks for watching. I would always back the fabric with a 3mm or thicker scrim foam
