I have the 2022 SS 1251 Badland Edition I am actually living in the Colorado mountains I like my Palomino camper I haven't had any problems with it whatsoever been living in it now for 8 months😊 The 20000 BTU furnace works great the temperature got down to 14 degrees last night hater didn't have any problems keeping up I have water on board in the holding tank never had any problem with freeze up the heater circulates through the area where the tanks are at keep water lines from freezing

Wouldn’t it be nice if the various pop up camper companies offered the customer a blank, or a shell with only electricity and pre wired for solar. No stoves, sink, or even beds, just a blank canvas. Which allows each person to customize the shell to their own hearts content. Of course the companies could also Officer one that has all of the bells and gizmos for the ones who are mechanically handicapped….
4wheel campers offers one. but it costs almost as much as this whole one does. but its way lighter

The palonimo is nice I purchased the 22 model but having issues with the fan coming on(heater)also the top struggles to raise up

Power roof only works for a brief time due to poor quality motors that are mounted both sides of the camper (Beware Buyers)
I AGREE, LIFT MOTORS ARE NOT WEATHER PROOF. I TRADED IT OFF WITHOUT EVER GETTING TO CAMP WITH IT.

I have a much older model, I can say if your not watching it may try to thump you on the head but otherwise goes up or down in 30 seconds or less.. pretty simply

The thing I dislike about campers, and maybe I just haven't found it yet, but none of them are bare bones. It's like 20k for this thing, I just want like a 5k shell. I just need a place to sit and a place to sleep I don't need any electrical, plumbing, etc.
If they are too ashamed to post the price don't bother.
Found a 22 model with AC for 21k. So I would assume this should be 19ish. Or they are selling at MSRP witch in that case they can keep it. But AC is a must where we travel. Don't case how much ventilation it has, venting 85 to 100 degree air is miserable 🤣

I’d say probably, but you also have to check the specs, and I’d go with a much bigger truck like an F250 or F350; instead of a F150..
No bathroom. Furnace, stove, hot water, all on 1 small propane tank !
You will be running every other day for propane!
No, you will not be. Hot water is on demand. and how long are you running your stove? Furnace lasts 4-5 days when its about 40F out.
It is my opinion as a current owner soon to be ex owner sure take a look then run away as fast as you can!! You have been warned
Care to elaborate?
Multiple issues too numerous to fully list, not wanting to go threw the emotions again. Let’s just say it was in warranty repair for 5 months back in 2014-2015 major leak issue. I am handy so after warranty expired so many smaller issues fixed by me. It seems like it’s always something. Finally got most of the bugs worked out and then the bed structure failed and now needs major repairs, that broke the camel’s back, done!

@@elherre965 Funny thing is I love the concept and enjoyed the camper at times. Maybe find a used one get it checked out by a 3rd party. It is my opinion the RV industry as a whole needs a major overhaul. Quality control is lacking a simple chalk job would of eliminated the biggest issue. Check out Overland Explorer they aren’t cheap, you get what you pay for!
It is my understanding they have done an overhaul to improve quality since 2016, but i can not speak from personal experience.
