All my night time ritual products (lotions, essential oils, lip conditioner, cuticle oil, sleep mask, etc.) go into my night stand. Drawers a must for me!

I love your decorating it's warm and charming. It embraces and it's cozy. So many of these modern designers have a cold austere style, that has all the warmth of a Walmart. I like your down to earth style. To much modern interior design is like a combination of museum show room and prison cellblock.

I like the idea of an extended headboard, and the simple blanket over the bed. That's what I've seen in France. Piling the bed with decorative pillows has never made much sense to me. What do you do with them when it's time to go to sleep, throw them on the floor? 🤔

The attached/floating nightstands were a hallmark of many Mid Century headboards. We have a Danish Modern bed that has attached nightstands floating above the floor. Looks great and offers ease of cleaning!

I will confess that the headboards in your video are beautiful. I am not a fan of cloth headboards though. The only issue I can see with large headboards is that it can limit where you place your bed. One wall has less space because of doors than the other. Nonetheless the big, “enveloping” headboards are beautiful.

I guess I am an outlier but I don't really like the extended headboard look, especially in fabric - looks like high maintenance cleaning especially with pets
