Congratulations on your move to working for yourself. That has to be very rewarding. As I said in the comments of your last video, it's good to see you back.
Glad you're back. Looking forward to the new content. I'm currently going back through all your AR vids since I just started my first build. Good stuff.
Hey, busy is good! I just semi-retired from my business which I co-founded in 1984...wow, almost 45 years! Now, I'm free to do what I want. If not for the business, I'd never survive on Social Security alone. Having your own business affords you perks, if you know what I mean. You got to check out Dan Wesson Wraith (Distressed). Glad to have you back.
I was in business doing construction. Had a deal to relocate to Florida so I did. I worked middle management (totally avoided upward movement), I liked being in the field. Point being, I told owners I worked for never complain about to much work! Some companies get scared to much work, huh? Bottom line; work as many hours a day and days a week as you can. Salt away cash for the hard times! Remember 2008-09? Yep, the bottom fell out of construction! Little guys I knew always want weekends off, never put cash aside for the lean times!
Yea 08-09 was a tough couple years and lets hope that doesn’t happen again....... Construction (General Contracting) is the business I’m in! Thanks for watching Walter!
@@NolanOutdoors Well, Nolan I did wonder where you were? But, more importantly I'm retired now still get calls to take, Just one project, we need ya'". However, Florida is very agravating. Getting Sub-Contractors to do "QUALITY" work! Or even show-up at starting time! Construction is tough, as you know! Bids, justififying Change Orders, yata, yata! I do sincerly wish you great sucess! Please beware of 2020-01? No "Glass Ball", or future telling here. I just see trends in building getting out of balance with reality and discuss with family who owns companies nearing billion dollar operations getting edgy? The younger guys do listen to my points, (being I'm always right), lol! So bottom line; you're a young fellow do the hours and the days, take everything you can get, within reason! Whether or not You-Tube gets crazier, isn't going to give you a solid bank account. However, hard work, long hours, basic "Nose to the grindstone" should assure getting through tough times when they hit! Very best to you!
Dude, I really enjoy your videos, and opinions. I’m just glad to see a RUclips gun guy that isn’t a complete narcissist. There are a few others out there, but most big channels only play for the crowd. As far as what I’d like to see is comparisons between long range calibers.
Congrats on your new adventures. As far as your desire to own a 10mm and a 45 I’d go Dan Wesson for both yes they are pricey but they are worth every penny. Budget I’d go Ruger. I have both and have no regrets. As far as AR pistol up in the air both rounds are very capable so pick I would suggest if you have 5.56 you may want to stay with that for ammo concerns unless it’s not a issue then do what you want. To add to the collection might I suggest a PCC in whatever you carry caliber or 10mm great home defense choice and if you ever get time try USPSA it’s a great time and PCC is coming on strong. Good luck stay safe keep shooting..
+1 for DW. I've owned Springfield, Kimber, Sig 1911's in 45 and once I tried DW there is no comparison. Can't beat the value. Recently got the vbob and can't wait to shoot. I've done a few ar pistol builds and been impressed with sb tactical braces.
300 Blackout prices have come down quite a bit. Still more than 223/556 but it's now very affordable than before. However to truly take advantage of 300bo you should silence it with a can.
Definitely go 10. I got the G29 & carry it a bit. I don't care for it as much as I would like. I am sure S&W, Ruger & Sig will be producing a poly in 10 in the next year. I am waiting for Sig to bring 10 over to the P227. Hopefully in Legion. 1911s....we have an old Delta Elite in family....it is nice. I am looking at the new SR1911 in 10 but Kimber has a few I may get, if not a Dan Wesson. Good show sir. Glad you are back.
👍 Don't do much with 10mm these days. I seem to play more with 40 & 357 Sig. And with my handloads I've been able to push 40 pretty good into 10mm territory. 357 Sig loaded the right way is no joke either. But if I were to get another 10mm I think I'd get a Glock 29 and then look into a 4 or 4.25" barrel for it, like maybe a threaded G29 barrel. Get some of the velocity back, help reduce some of the flip from the subcompact size. And run it with a pinky extension on the mag so I have a full grip. That would keep it fun on the range and make it great for carry. Later have the slide cut for an RMR
Awesome! can't wait to see what you have coming up. I've recently picked up a gun that your video helped make the final decision on. It's a Colt Competition 1911. Now to find the time of my own to do some videos on this gun...
Missed your videos and glad you're back, but good to hear that your business is doing well. I'd love to see you test a Rock island RAC MS 10mm. I've been looking at getting one myself but haven't seen much about them.
You will love the 300 blackout suppressed. Makes plinking a lot of fun. Use silencershop.com for all the paperwork, picture, prints makes getting a suppressor so easy. Good luck.
You have some free time? Can I borrow some? lol I love your longer format vids; 3-4 min is too short, 8-10 is sweet, 16-20 is great when you have lots if different stuff to cover. BTW, I can count the hairs in your beard. Your camera is very good. Upgrade if you want, but you're good for now. Nice work.
Dude glad you are back.. and happy it wasn't an absence of family reasons!! Is 1mm really make that much difference. . You dang right it does, been looking at the Rock Island tac ultra in 10mm at my LGS . Now that you have the Grizzly Adams look and knowing your location do you fear hunting now that you could be hunted Mr Foot? Nolan Adams Is Back.. hell ya. You're awesome man thanks for video!!
