Thank you so much! I was struggling for such a long time and did like 10 flights of 1 hour but the approach was trash in every single flight. But I do have a question. How did you start your flight from up there in the air?
No problem mate! Glad to hear it helps😁! To start the flight in the air I just choose to do the approach at the runway. Keep in mind that it is only available in solo mode
172 is a simple aircraft to handle compared to the 787, it is a pretty good plane to practice on as its pretty hard to fail miserably in it due to its simple and straight forward handling, trial in the 172, aim for a landing speed of around 50-55 depending on your wait and all that obviously
ok I know this is a bit off topic but if you bought pro in the past and you want to buy it again on a different device do you have to link the devices together to get pro? because that’s what rfs did to me and I still haven’t got my money back :(
Here is a tip to butter, when you flare, aim for -200 to -140 fpm a second after you hear 20, then as soon you hear 10 flare more until your fpv(the green circle in your hud) is covering half the horizon and half the runway at the end of the runway, it might take a couple of times to master the timing of all of this, but eventually you will call a -100 fpm landing a "normal landing". Thats the best way I can explain how I get a butter.
The way I always land is finding the right speed with the right flaps when decending below 10,000ft I set my speed to 200kts with 20% trim then on left base I go 185kts with 25% trim and then 170kts for final approach with trim 30% and I never flare to much because I don't want to tail strike or nose plop kinda like you did 130kts is way to slow I used to always do 150kts but my new butter speed is 170kts
I think Infinite Flight should improve the game physics because when I land airplanes in FSX, 170 knot is the slowest speed to land. Any slower the airplane would stall. Also Infinite Flight don't have proper inertia motion. When the airplane is heavy, it should be a lot harder to accelerate and to slow down. I wonder how I could land my plane with such slow speed.😗
Hi, how do you set your plane in the air that far away from the airport I, because whenever I press for short final it just puts me like way to close to the runway for a full landing. Great video btw!
Typically you don't flare before you put the throttle to idle. The flare is supposed to arrest the descent rate, like you have mentioned. Putting throttle to idle after flaring makes it hard to arrest the descent correctly. Especially with a Power Setting at like 40-50% N1 to hold the airspeed it can even cause you to float.
Hi bro, excellent landing! I can't afford to subscribe to this game. I'm currently trying out Airbus 340-600, but my flight always point down on my landings. The touching down becomes not smooth and bouncy too. How can I adjust to make it right? Thanks in advance for answering. 🙏🏼😊
First of all, thanks!😄 Based on your statement, your airspeed probably too high on the approach. Try to reduce the airspeed. Also make sure your flaps are set to FULL. Maintain 800 fpm decent rate at 3 degrees pitch, and begin your flare at 30 feet callout. I know in the video I said to do it at 50, Idk Infinite Flight physics is a little bit off than what it is in real life. Then set the throttle to idle while you flare. That's all👌. I need a lot of practice to master it. I hope this helps😅

Follow the glide path which is the purple diamond on the right hand side. It indicates either you're too high or too low on the approach.
