Hi Kelsey, I'm the co-creator of Infinite Flight and very much enjoyed that video :) It's always nice to see a real world pilot's take on what we're building! I just wanted to comment on a few things about the simulator. The development of Infinite Flight is iteration based. We ship updates every 2 to 4 months with new content, new features, rework of older parts, that for the most part have been requested by the community. As someone pointed out in the comments, the 747 is an older airplane in the sim. It is one of the first models we had with interior lights, and we've made significant progress since then. When it first came out, devices came with much less memory so we couldn't crank up the texture resolution. Recent devices come with much more powerful processors and more memory which allows us to improve various aspects of the sim. Our recent cockpit instrument work has mostly taken us on the Airbus side but we're shifting back to Boeing with a rework of the 777 following a vote in the community forum earlier this year. As far as some of the details about autothrottle, VNAV, etc, it's all things that we want to add but given the iterative nature of our work, are obviously planned or at some stage of development. If you'd like to see our latest work, make sure you try the A350 and the A320 series, they have the latest tech we've brought to the sim with more advanced flight deck features, better textures, etc. We've started shipping those new live cockpit planes earlier this year and plan to build on this to add even more capabilities. If you'd like to help us with a future 747 rework, we'd love to chat with you :) Cheers!
But in RFS you got more for more than the half of the price like global, buildings, rain, snow etc. You also got the Concorde and a more detailed graphic, that's fact.
@@fraum7107 I personally believe that the graphics are less detailed in RFS in comparison with the newer IF planes. Furthermore, when you buy IF, you're essentially buying a ticket into the full community it has. This really sets it apart from other mobile sims as it has a full section of virtual airlines, human-controlled ATC, etc.
wow, thats some cool insight Laura, glad to see you are continuing to develop the aircraft, must be cool to be a part of such a popular sim. Hello FO Kelsey! I was looking for tutorial for Infinite Flight Simulator that I had purchased awhile back when I was working as a flight attendant. The many awesome opportunities I had to be sitting in the cockpit with my awesome pilot friends during our long flights across the Atlantic made me interested in learning how to fly an aircraft. I have retired from flying right before Covid happened and now that I am almost bored, learning to simulate a flight should be a fun thing to remember all the good flights I had with my pilot friends. Anyway, thank you for this awesome and fun video. Fly safe, Kelsey!
Wow you got it down in 3 tries! That’s amazing. I still can’t land a Cessna in flight sim. 😂 The yoke has 0 feedback 🤷🏻♀️. Gonna work on power on stalls and soft field landings today! It was very interesting seeing you fly on Infinite Flight. I tried it myself few years ago - I thought I will be able to learn/practice flight on a tablet, while I'm on the train on my way to work each morning. What happened to me is what happened to you - I repeatedly bumped the Cessna-172 on the runway, and I was not able to improve my landings. I've played that from time to time. When you add winds and play with the weights, it gets very interesting. Try landing a 747 into Aspen RW15 with a light tailwind, temp in the 80s near max landing wt. At that altitude, speeds are a bear to hold; steep glide path. Muffed it a few times but got it stopped ONCE. Cool stuff!!!

This is supposed to be a an AIRPLANE simulator, not a taxi to and from the gate sim. The airplane models, like I said, are lazy and terrible
I’ve been a desktop x-plane diehard for over a decade…and I have to admit, infinite is the way to go on ipad. The servers are great, the graphics are shockingly full-featured and the airliner fleet is top notch. I wish they’d do a couple more GA planes but that’s just because that’s been my IRL experience so that’s my personal comfort zone on the servers.
i've found the biggest issue with people on flight sims is that they are pretentious and think they are the best at everything with little to no actual flight time... take it with a grain of salt. Your channel is great kelsey.. keep doing what you are doing...
I bought Oculus Rifts S mostly for playing Flight Simulator, and its amazing, nothing can beat VR, I’m so glad it finally exists and works perfectly, i can push any button or turn any knob with my fingers, controlling autopilot and everything else, after VR you can’t go back to the monitor...
Kelsey, You did a great job, seeing it is your first go with this sim. There are other sims that seem to do a better job of approximating reality. I used the rudder control and the aileron/flap wheel. The mouse sets a lot of the functioning. All I can do, now is fly the sim Best wishes to you.
You should try Real Flight Simulator Mobile, it has departure from gate and arrival to gate, radio to tower and ground, pax announcements, crew announcement, proper taxing and almost everything. Would love to see you playing that
I am really enjoying your videos. I dont fly often, but when I do, I savor the experience. I always try for a window seat so I can marvel at the views. Especially during departure and landing. I find the whole experience relaxing. If i was wealthy, I'd probably book flights juat for fun.
The 747, 787 and a few other aircrafts do no have the instruments in the cockpit activated snd animated. That's why the landing gear lever is up while on the ground, that's why he had an overspeed without noticing. Basically using the cockpit view for the above mentioned aircraft and certain others will require flying more visually than using instruments.
I love your videos, and Im still waiting for your next coming up videos. I have seen your "Mean RUclips Comments" video, and, I love one of the questions inside the video: Do u have cancer?
Also if you go into the HUD and system options, there is much more, fasten seatbelts sign, rollback, navigation map, altitude, speed and direction hud, etc.
@@jackalcrackle yea Funfact… I just learned how to turn while pushback ING, you would use the rudder pedal button to turn. But you’ve have to be precise if you wanna be accurate.. on the taxi line!!!
I know it's a small detail, but around 11:18 you can see the deflection of the rudder when 74 Gear was starting to turn off to exit the runway, you might see this on the much smaller GA aircraft but you won't see it on the 747, or any commercial airliner because they have what's called the tiller, which is typically the mechanism to the left of the captain, or to the right on the FO's side, that steers commercial aircraft on the ground and turns the nose wheel left or right. The rudder only works to control the yaw only while the aircraft is in the air but it won't work on the ground while taxiing a 747 at speeds of 10 knots.
I love these sims. I have X-Plane mobile with the 737-800 and love it. The one thing I hate about these moblie sims is that you don’t actually have REAL controls. If you want to adjust throttle while flying you can’t do that. At least in X-Plane mobile you have to look down to the throttle and if you di that, obviously you aren’t seeing your current situation…

The servers are great, the graphics are shockingly full-featured and the airliner fleet is top notch. I wish they’d do a couple more GA planes but that’s just because that’s been my IRL experience so that’s my personal comfort zone on the servers.
Its interesting to watch real pilot flying flight simulator.
Do x plane11
please don't be a pilot for any of my flights
Hey thank you for trying my favorite sim.
Can’t wait til they get buildings and clouds.
Still amazes me this is what you guys do for a living.
This guy deserves more subscribers. Jake Paul is just a rich guy. But this guy is a FREAKING AIRLINE PILOT.
i've found the biggest issue with people on flight sims is that they are pretentious and think they are the best at everything with little to no actual flight time... take it with a grain of salt.
I loved the video but just one thing. I think the audio was a little too quite but otherwise it was awesome. Keep it up!
Ha ha 😂 you had me laughing with your commentary... good job! 👍
Wow your so good to fly the plane your legend😮😮😮
Your voice is nice and soothing. Almost feels like im watching asmr!
These are great vids Kelsey I really enjoy them! Keep up the good work
Oh man, this is really short final! Epic!
ya I wasn't ready for that 😂
I love your videos, and Im still waiting for your next coming up videos. I have seen your "Mean RUclips Comments" video, and, I love one of the questions inside the video: Do u have cancer?
Also if you go into the HUD and system options, there is much more, fasten seatbelts sign, rollback, navigation map, altitude, speed and direction hud, etc.
Whats rollback ?
@@shivpatel5413 essentially where the plane is pushed back by a tug
We loved to see you try X-Plane 10 mobile btw love your channel it's motivates allot of us
Hi Kelsey, are all pilots this funny or is this 747 swag. You hilarious 🤣
You FINALLY listened to me
Hi captain Kelsey good flight you make your dreams cometrue
Sorry I was late to class. Lol
But you never disappoint
Recent subscriber, highly entertaining video 😂 thanks Kelsey!
