That's a lot of hill riding for a rest day!
What a beautiful little city! I'm adding Mang Den to our list.
Was thinking the same thing!
Definitely worth a visit. And yeah, ended up climbing more than expected today
I like your video that has interesting content!
Nice job! The quality of your videos has really improved over the years. Please keep your channel active when you return to the States.
Thanks! We're still planning on making videos
In many ways, this felt pretty much like really riding along with you and discovering this picturesque town without the usual disruptions of people and traffic, as if city life had temporarily been paused. Some gorgeous shots from the bridge and very enticing sticky rice sticks; but the roasted capons would probably have required some serious chomping !
Glad you enjoyed it!
Some really hidden secrets
USA will have to give its best to keep up with this quality of content 😬
Looks great! 👍🏻
Nice place 😊
beautiful
Amazing views and weather! Such a welcoming change from the hot and sunny climate you were cycling in. It must have been relieving with the overcast. Some of those neighborhoods had a ghost town look to them. Cycling is such a neat way to explore places like that. That bridge looked rickety, smart of you to walk your way back. Finally, did Thuong navigate by memory or a general understanding of the streets?
It felt great to finally have some cooler weather. I was mainly navigating with my cycle computer, but Thuong checks her phone sometimes too
What a beautiful area. It sounds like you might have found a beautiful place to call home in Vietnam.
Yeah, I would've liked to have stayed here longer if we found it sooner
@@TwoWheelCruise You'll be back before long! Once you've lived in other countries, USA just isn't going to cut it. Put in some good family time and then get back out there to take on the world!
Presentation of the food looks so good! Would prefer that they not cut the chicken in front of the guests. Guess I’m just a northeastern urban snob. Still the food looks delicious. Nice explanation of the rice bamboo dish.! You’re becoming quite the ethnographer! Really beautiful surroundings and accommodations. No automobile traffic to be concerned with. Yes! And the road surfaces of the main roads seem very well maintained-smooth! Love the leaving-entering the city signs! Great video-cycling is a terrific way to show Vietnam. I do love the rain even when on my bike. Good for you guys having this special time together and taking us with you.
Thanks for watching. Most of the roads around here were very good smooth pavement
Thuong San is the hidden Gem in Vietnam .
Great video. If I ever make it back to VN I'd love to visit Mang Den and Bao Loc.
4:30 Stainless steel tables are usually more sanitary than wood. Face it they probably just pass a dirty damp rag over any table but wood can trap particles of food and over time be more of a sanitation hazard. My sister is a retired food scientist so I had to listen to all her lectures lol
Oh that makes sense 😬
Enjoy😊
Such a beautiful quiet area. Reminds me of a place in the Philippines called Baguio. If you both ever visit the Philippines, go check that place out. Thanks for sharing,Thuong-san and Cruise!
Thanks for your suggestion
A very informative video, a view of Vietnam I had not seen before. You were right in comparing to Michigan.
Yeah, I would've liked to have stayed here longer if we had more time
👍
They call that kind of chicken, native chicken here in the Philippines. Its free range chicken and very lean.
Thuong called it the mountain chicken 😂
🚴🚴♂👏👏

Loved the video. You mention the possible increase in tourism in Mang Den. Be careful what you wish for. Mass tourism is a bane for locals. They will lose their quality of life.
Yeah, I was thinking about that as we were riding around this day
What’s the best way to find info on monthly rentals in
Danang? I’m retired and interested in living there for 3-6 months.
Thanks for the info
Dave
Either find an agent to look for you or look on facebook groups.
@@TwoWheelCruise Thanks for the info.
I just checked out Airbnb and they have listings near Danang Beach side..
Dave
blessings...i could never get my wife on a bike...sadly...one of my kids likes it tho..lol
Better than none 😅
Is it constant construction everywhere, or is vietnam having a sudden economic boom?
Real estate investment scams
All of the above
Vietnam could be more enjoyable if the people kept it neat and clean like Japan. Right, guys?
The charm of Vietnam and Japan is very different, but keeping things clean would help
So true, it is a dirty disgusting country, nearly as dirty as India and Indonesia
