getting serious Windows XP wallpaper vibes from this landscape
I was literally saying that to myself on the first day 😂 I felt like I just entered the screen lmao
So true!!
@@jennalexisko 1:55 literally looks like the wallpaper 😭😭 wtf
300km with crocs on is crazy, nice ride!
The scenery, the riding, the animals, the music and the sounds of nature….. just fxcking everything…. that’s one good adventure
Thanks for the peaceful escape during my lunch break 🙏
This was a great video. It's nice seeing these adventures near Calgary. I hope you can do a "how to start bike packing" video soon for those of us newbies who want to get started. I might do a day trip bike around these roads this summer. Glad the algorithm recommended your videos.
I’d recommend talking to one of our local bike shops, Bike Bike up on Edmonton Trail would be my recommendation since they focus on utility bikes and touring. They’ll have some good advice, as well as good routes to try. As long as you have a bike, tent and sleeping bag, you can get started touring! Used panniers sometimes come up for sale online. MEC makes a good backpacking tent. Lots of people overthink the gear, when the best way to figure out what works is to load up and start riding. Once you’re out there, you’ll have a great time.
Your videos are so peaceful. Thank you!!
Nature is so beautiful! Stunning landscapes! Thank you! 🙌🏼🌲
30 minutes of pure bliss
the quality of your videos is incredible, love watching them
feel you. ☝️ I just cykled 12 days, 1065 km, with a very heavy loaded bike in Sweden to visit my sister a few days.
I slept in the woods, fought mosquitos, wild camping in bear country etc etc..
These adventures never turns out the way you think it will.
Wow lovely landscape!
my goodness that is gorgeous .. so so good to see you doing so well Jenna! always a warm comfy feeling coming back to your channel and seeing what you’re up to 🥹
Thankyou so much girl, it is very much appreciated 🥹😭♥️
Do you know what I love besides me living where you live, you never take off your cool pink helmet even when you are off the bike! 😊 Another fun video to watch and enjoy.
He sometimes I forget I’m even wearing it
Fantastic Jenna! what amazing views, thank you!
Totally joined you for the entire journey. Thank-you for documenting this in your own ways and sharing with the world.
Love your aura Jenna!
Glad to have come across this.
Sending love and respect your way.
you are living my dream life
Amazing scenery, nature is life!
Jenna! Amazing job, I like the way you stayed calm and positive even when you got sidetracked a bit. This makes me want to hit the trails near where I live 🚵🏿♀️
Thanks for sharing your adventure. It was wonderful! As a fat bike gravel rider, I was envious of your long stretches of gravel road!
Your videos are so calming, I can't wait to grow up and start to do this stuff! It's very inspiring. Xoxo
Loved this - makes me long to be able to be the kind of person who has these kinds of adventures ☺️💕
I really enjoyed your Banff trip, so glad to see your style is consistent. These are just wonderful to watch.
You have such a relaxing style of story telling! I love it. Thanks for sharing. Feeling inspired to go after steeper terrain after seeing those hills you did!
Beautiful landscapes! That gravel was thick, even mtb's would have trouble with that. I think your tires are perfectly fine.
Glad it wasn’t just me 😅
Thanks for the adventure! I think you would feel better riding on the fattest knobbies that you can fit on your rims and frame, especially if you're into gravel roads. Cheers!😀
I do plan to get some when I’ve got the extra cash! Not much clearance on my fork but worth a small upgrade I think 😁
Look like a great route especially with blue sky scenery. From my cycle touring days I would consider saving all my shekels and try and lighten every piece of gear, even the bike. I do like the cycling shoes with the recessed spd cleat also. Can walk with them and they allow more power to the pedals. You can set the tension really light for sudden exit! 😊 Just a few random points. I'm sure they are already in your mind.
So cool as always!!!
Love your vids! Wholesome, authentic and beautiful ❤
You back . My country doesn't have such beautiful cycling routes. Wow, you still wear Corcs shoes while cycling. 😄
your videos are such a vibe. was really waiting for more videos after your iceland trip
Hi Tired! Your at the top baby! Again!! It's all downhill from here, both ways! Thanks for taking us along for your ride. It was fun and scenic. The road less traveled.
😁😁🎉
Just out here waving and mooing at cows, and making friends with sweet dogs 😊💚 such beautiful scenery 😮
Another wonderful gravel bike trip journey video
this was amazing Jenna! thanks for sharing another stellar bikepacking adventure with us! gravel is so much more stimulating & adventurous than road riding in my opinion. ++ you get to make doggo friends 🐶
hope to see more gravel adventures in the near future! 😎
Hehe Although I still love a road ride this trip has definitely made me want to get out on gravel rides more!! And you’re right the dogs are a plus 🙂↕️
Thank you for sharing your trip!
Cool ! it looks like an amazing adventure Jenna :)
Ahhhhh!!! The legend herself is backkk 🥳🥳🥳 leshgoo ! I’m pulling out the snacks right now
Well done girl! 🎉🎉💪💪 let's goo
Beautiful adventures 💪🏾 thanks for sharing. Safe travels
I love the visual storytelling paired with comic relief and sone stellar good editing! Great video as always!
Man I really appreciate that!! Worked hard on the editing so it’s very nice to hear, thankyou so much 🙂↕️
Love the vids Jenna, you've inspired me to plan my first longer bike packing trip :) going to Iceland!
Ahh that is so exciting, best of luck on your trip! I hope it all goes smoothly
You're so real lmao if I do long trips I always remind myself that working hard is the only way I'll be able to make it back to my car. Otherwise, when I'm home I don't feel like doing anything that might be challenging. Hurrah for trapping ourselves in unavoidable situations!
Exactly! My greatest physical achievements have been from putting myself in a situation I can’t otherwise get out of 🤣
Love the attitude towards the mishaps!
ang ganda…. thank you sm ate 😻
What a perfect way to start my sunday
beautiful, beautiful scenery..........jenna keep it coming.
Thankyou! Working on a new video as we speak 😁
love your videos, makes my mind at peace always
That’s very kind, thankyou!
this video just brought me so much comfort
🥹♥️
Great video! Amazing views and chill vibes, what else do you need? ☁️🌿
Glad to see you back on here. You are so brave doing all this stuff on your own. Aside from the athletic prowess, I’d be afraid of the killer at the campsite. Assuming you made your sister’s graduation👍🏻
Your video are all inspiring to go out and see the scenery of the world by cycling thanks jenna ride safe have fun ⛺⛰🚴♀️
You too! Thankyou 😁
i love watching your video, thank you for sharing with us. You are brave. .
Hi, beautiful landscape, I really envy you! Best regards from Germany!
U did all this while wearing crocs 😂 I’m impressed. Was a great video 😊
If I knew how to bike at my big age I would but I don’t know how too, so I just watch people. 🔥🔥🔥❤
How would I ever travel these places if not through your videos? Thank you for working hard on bringing us all of this. And please be safe!
Wow what a beautiful place.
Stoopid bridge :)! I love riding in this area beacuse the views are epic. And yeah, smart call on not crossing that river, especially at this time of year when the water is still ice cold. I'm currently mapping out a ride from Edmonton to Drayton Valley. There are some campgrounds along the North Saskatchewan that I have not yet visited. Anyways, thanks for posting!
Sounds like it’s going to be a great ride! Best of luck 😁😁
So cool!
heartwarming content
Great video! There is a lot of variety in gravel. It can take a while to work out the tires. If you are riding locally you can work it out pretty well, but if you are doing a tour things can change a lot with the surface.
Looks like an awesome ride. Jealous of the scenery. I would really recommend a satellite phone(if you dont already have one) like the garmin inreach mini2 or something like that. Better to have it and not need it.
Actually hilarious that you said that because I had one on me the entire time and I didn’t even think of it 😂 also if I’m honest I’ve only ever sent the pre-set messages I’m still figuring out how it works
Too bad that bridge was out. I know that can be upsetting when you got a route planned! I really liked your playlist though. Same music I be listening to!
Really enjoyed this thank you 😊
Thank YOU😁🥹
I love your videos, I have just started bikepacking and I am hooked😄
Thankyou 🥹 and YAY cheers to all your future adventures 🎉🎉
Looks like you were aiming to ride Old Porcupine's Choice Loop. Super bummer that Spray Lakes Sawmills removed the bridge over Cataract creek. Glad you stayed safe.
Yes lol! I believe I found the route from your website actually!! Such a gorgeous route- even with the bridge out it was quite the ride 😁
@@jennalexisko Right on. Happy exploring!
Assistir seus vídeos me traz paz de espirito. hello from Brazil!
Love your narrative captions. Poetically framed, and authored. @4:30
I very much appreciate it 🥹
love your videos, very inspiring. what sunscreen did you use in this video? I want to do the Florida Coast to Coast ride once the weather is cooler...
Gurl, you are so stinking’ cool.
🥹♥️
Amazing 😍.
Hellish, cold Canada is absolutely beautiful in early summer. Good thing you didn't completely run out of food and had to ride back on empty. You should have tried jumping to grab your stuck bags hanging on the tree to get it down? It looks like you could have done that and avoided dragging the heavy wooden table back and forth all by yourself. The bridge being down made your bike trip even more crazily epic.
Haha I was worried I might break the bags or rope by doing that so I decided on the table 🤣 and I agree! Canada is gorgeous but the weather doesn’t care about your plans!
What camera do you use? It looks amazing
Forgot your phone was funny, made me laugh!!
lovely views
Amazing…….❤❤❤
Great content!! Love it
Much appreciated, thank you 😁♥️
Are you shooting on gopro?
@@Bearsediter2024 it’s a DJI action camera :)
1. love your videos 2. thanks to you I want to do all of these bike stuff 3. you look extremly gorgeous in this video
So kind of you thankyou 🥹 and yay I hope you get the chance to get out cycling this summer 😁😁
Was just thinking that if I were doing this ride, I’d be listening to Fleet Foxes… and then I hear them! Nice surprise. If anybody knows of a gravel route similar to this in ON or QC, let me know! (I’m aware the mountains won’t be the same)
@@rickytan123 had them on repeat for a while 😁 perfect musical accompaniment!
Me encantan tus vídeos
Everything happens for a reason, we don't always have to know why we just need to have the wisdom to accept it.
Thanks a lot Jenna for sharing us your adventures 🔥🙏, on this beautifull nature, your country 🤩. Which camera do you use , GoPro ? Thanks
Thanks for watching! And I use the osmo action 3 from Dji
@@jennalexisko Thank you 🙏👍. Very Good quality with the osmo 🤩
Yeah, really good. 🇳🇿🚴♂️📸
Thank you!!
“It’s all downhill from here and I love that for me.”
Oh, that was a good chuckle..
Are you able you share your route?
Babe wake up jennnaa Alexis video just dropped 🔥🔥🔥🔥
WOO!!!
Absolutely amazing stunning shot. Hi genna I recommended you visit the himalayan mountains k2 and Nangaparbat view point from one place moses peak. Add this sound in your bucket list. Moses peak is open zone. Situated at my home town Barah Gilgit-Baltistan.
“Im sorry but why is there a grown man on my arm, who are you?” I screamed pahahahha
Is that camera you’re using better than a go pro? Loved the vid! Makes me want to start documenting my adventures!
can imagine you're amazed you live there
The cow was like "nice bike. Can i ride it?" 🐮
Im watching from Brazil
Oyyy Kopiko Blanca haha
what camera setup are you using? all your on the bike shots are so smooth and stable and the landscape shots are super crisp!
@@JustusThomas thankyou ! When I’m on the bike/moving I use the DJI osmo action 3, it has great stabilization :)
Sweet trip! Wish you would have showed your bike setup a bit more..
Amazing scenery, love the chill vibe of your videos. Helps work my morning anxiety.
Are there apps like farout or komoot that you could check when planning to make sure crossings are working?
Thankyou! I haven’t heard of those, I will definitely check them out though :)
hell yeah
Hell yah 🤠
I'm sure you're already aware of this but I'd be remiss if I didn't suggest picking up a Satellite communicator like the Garmin inReach or Zoleo.
It’s silly because actually I had one on me the whole time and I just completely forgot that I could use it 😂 Thankyou though
Sorry XD but 9:34 that sound reminded me of the creatures from movie quite place ! God i love them so deeply much !
OoVoo a bike with bags! Show us your bike and whats in it pleaseeeee
Just watched your video cycling around Iceland, just wanted to say congrats on that, plus doing it in crocs.
Most importantly though, and I know it may sound sort of run-of-the-mill. I used to not take this seriously either, but, you’re a soul and you matter to Jesus. If you haven’t already, I pray you one day place your complete faith and trust into His finished work on Calvary and accept his free gift salvation through faith in his shed blood to pay for your sins once and for all (Romans 3:23-25, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4).
I heard the gospel for the first time on RUclips from pastor Gene Kim and I just hope to see and those you care for up in heaven, that’s what it’s all about.
Congratulations again on your journey, that was awesome.
Would love to get the course or .gpx of your route!!
