Get Adelyn -> get her 5 star soul -> choose Brimstone -> put regen + perception, make her tanky -> put get in the vault and wait for her to appear in a Amius rotation for some A1 action.

Props to Plarium for the event and everything. But giving out this after stuff like UDK, Wukong Rathalos etc is a big L. Especially for new players.

adelyn's kit puts ME to sleep
the free rewards are awesome, and a 5-star is insane
but i literally can't think of a single place i would slot her in
sleep (single target), heals, dec atk (boss only), dec spd (boss only)
i have champions that fulfill those roles with wayyyy more utility or damage
and i'm not an endgame player
her a3 needs to be "all enemies"... or something so she's useful somewhere and earns a place in teams
Easy fix if they make her a3 aoe and grant a hit or something on her a2 then you could slot her with toxic and boost damage a lot more that way.
Hey, we're coming off the Rathalos rotation, plus some solid fusions in Armanz, the Wight, and the upcoming Eostrid, plus Padraig... There has been a hot streak of solid champs. Nobody bats 1000. At least she's free. Not gonna complain for free. The rest of the event is awesome though and I'm looking forward to the free good stuff. And if you hate it so much, you COULD have a free 5star chicken, and some soul coins (sell the souls) out of the deal.
I agree with the three remedies you suggested to make her relevant across all the game's content. I don't do Sand Devil right now, because none of my gear is worthy of ascension. So developing Adelyn will be VERY low priority to me--and I can't imagine throwing precious Tomes into her on the chance that she will help me stockpile resources that I currently have no use for.
It's a shame; I would ordinarily have said, "Who doesn't like a free Champion?!" But this one. Wow. Swing and a miss, Plarium, unless they rework her.

Paylarium said they were exploring ways to make sand devil more approachable. This seems to be their answer.
I'm going to run her in iron twins for the protected smite, slow, and heals. Adding her to my team I will be able to do max level on all colors.
Noct the Paralyzer has 100% chance to sleep with 2 poisons. When any damage occurs on the boss, the poisons multiply to four. Obviously, affinity matters though.
If the poison breaks the sleep it doesn’t add more poison.

They could *give* us all the books necessary to book her and I probably still wouldn't use her. That A3 really needs to be AOE.
It's hard to tell by the way that it reads, but her passive might stack throughout the battle. It doesn't say "active debuffs" it just says debuffs placed. Which would mean that a toxic set could be useful. Obviously a lot more so if she had multiple hits on her A1.
A3. Target 1 enemy, sleep unresitable, then applies the Dec atk and spd on all other enemies
They could have made her a pve specialist. Lands a debuff based on the bosses weakness. A full team heal is great but it needs more in the kit.
She is supposed to instantly see the weakness of an enemy and exploit it based on her champ description and lore.
Saw that too and it pissed me off, Plarium introduces lore, yet does NOTHING with it
I only see her being used in a Sand Devil team with Emic & Painkeeeper for a perma sleep. Aeila does the same thing, has an increase accuracy buff and doesn't use up precious legendary books for early/midgame people like myself.
Vault she goes.
If your desperate you can book her for the block debuff for speed tuning clan boss, however so many better champions fill this role with better buff/debuffs.
Passive should've been: Allies deal 3% more damage for each Debuff on an enemy.
Or even 1% more damage done to enemies for each debuff on the enemy team. And 3% if placed by this champ.

Well for beginners in the game she is definetly better then most healers in hydra tbf. Her heal is based on her HP. She restores the destroyed HP. She also helps in getting your champ back when the hydra eats one. Her decrease speed can not be resisted with block debuffs. So in reality because plarium doesn't have to handout monster champs all the time...a simple "revives one dead ally" or even "two dead allies" as a skill 4 or included in 2 or 3 would have prolly made her mvp for hydra for like every single early game account.
(Now finished the video) I mean we got to keep in mind that it is hard to do fusions in raid at the beginning as you do not beat CB at the highest stage neither are you in a clan that does. Also a new player hasn't done any fusions like pythion etc. So I do think that she somewhat brings value to an early account and that even completly unbooked but just in hydra. Is that fair to say?
Also to your idea to make her better. That's impossible and they'd never do that. Keep in mind that this would not just make her relevant. He would be an utter gamechanger in hydra for many accounts and break the hydra system somewhat. Part of it is that they can steal and spread your buffs, that's why you need to be carefull with block debuffs and you use champs like uugo to block buffs on the hydra. So her beeing able to completly ignore everything of that to decrease the speed and attack of the hydra at like all times woth zero effort is bigger then it seems. But I only guess. Head of wrath (I mean the hitcounter head) no threat anymore, always decreased in speed and atk. Using block debuffs on yourself?. Well you can now be less carefull with the buff as if a head eats your teammate she can at least decrease the speed and give you some time. The poison head...effected by the sheer fact that you can use block debuffs more careless. This means that 3 heads of the hydra are directly effected if you make those unblockable debuffs aoe.
Reading what I wrote I am not saying that it would break the hydra but you never know what people will be able to do with sh like this
i like the way they are doing her soul. The past soul events have basically been another fusion/fragment with how many resources you needed. This gives another incentive to do your daily stuff. Although not a great champ i hope they do future soul events like this.

I only fill the vault with most attractive ladies possible e.g. for ogryn faction guardians I use Uogo & Bellower.

in my adelyn chase I get the gear in the day 8-13 part and get the other things first
also I commeted a possible fix on the video yesterday and will paste it here as well what in my opinion would make her a better champ for sand devil even earlier on
here it is:
they say they made her a sand devil specialist but for that I would at least have like for her skill to place a sleep for 2 or maybe even 3 turns since there are so many champions already out there that do a 1 turn sleep and barely any that do a 2 and I don't think there is any that would do a 3 turn and for the passive I would have liked it more if it said something along the lines of allies deal x% more damage against targets under sleep debuffs or ignore x% if defense of targets under sleep debuffs
as a follow up , i managed to make her usable , and i got screenshots to back my shit up , even at lvl 50 she managed to down a lvl 60 Yumeko with two star blessing having temporal chains , thats with two stars, also , having her equiped with six perception set legendary is also very helpful , Five Star Rare ring that turns all Crits to Normal atack , having her Aim Stack to 289 makes her an Avid sharpshooter for stealing buffs , as well with an avarage of speed sitting on 190 , thats with a 4 Star blessing , blessing i am using is Temporal Chains, she has a three out of two wins , that is with a well stacked opponent , wich is really helpful for new comers for live arena so instead of trashing her , first have the patience to experiment with her, not to mention that right now she is 60 and she has been tanking hits better than a freaking freight train, so in a way you can say ive weaponized a Spongebob.
Struggling badly with the lack of lego books. They just don't drop for me in CB at all and seems they're not in as many events lately. makes it very difficult to invest books into any niche champs like this.
In Plarium's defense, they DID specifically brag in their video about her being a sand devil "specialist". I think the developers got tunnel vision during the development cycle, and didn't even think to focus on anything else. The art department nailed her design though so at least she LOOKS good. Aesthetically, she reminds me of Ursula, just with a tad more color to the palette. They were on a nice hitting streak with the login champs, but this is definitely a miss right now. As it is, I'll put that 5 star soul on her and use her as an aura booster, right along with 3 other champs already. At least we don't have to go out of our way or burn any resources to get her.

I guess there is no challenges in phase 2. We just need to win 1 compaign for 1 Flag or win 1 Arena battle for 2 Flags and so on...
To get 5 star Soul we need 1050 compaign wins!
I would love to see her a3 changed to something more like "Place sleep on 1 target, then place the weak versions of Def Down, Att Down, Spd Down, acc down, and weaken. If the target is a Boss's minion, debuff spread all debuffs to the boss". Her title of Sand Devil specialist and her passive would make more sense for late game players. Also, she could be a placeholder for all bosses until you build the champ that has the strong version of the debuff that that boss needs,helping early game players.

War maiden has big version of decrease def and there's rares with decrease atk
I think it's 1 point for winning 1 campaign or dungeon run, 2 points per Faction War run or arena and 5 points for each clan boss key used. Which if that's the case, that's very easily obtainable for the 1050 points needed. In 21 days, say you average 10 campaign battles, 3 dungeon runs, 6 FW runs, 10 arena and 3 CB keys used, that's 10+3+12+20+15=60 points a day. That's 1260 points for 21 days and I think that's very obtainable.
The phase 2 section is just getting that amount of flags when you battle in that area, there’s no challenges behind it.
Logged into my low level (Day 7) referral account, and the rewards are mirrored for me: hence, x100 Energy on day 1, x50 multi-battles day 2, etc. Day 8 is a 5-star epic perception bow. The 6-star legendary gear will be given to a brand new account.
Siphi also boosts turn meter and places increase defence and speed which is better imo so champs don't need as much speed as well plus take less damage.
After getting her and trying her out, your review is spot on. She needs the buffs you outlined ASAP.
Just a slight correction: the word “place” is used in every single skill that has a debuff attached, regardless of it hitting or merely being put on. I’ve seen several think the word “place” means you don’t have to worry about affinity
I think the flag values are defined. It says earn flags for winning, and like campaign win is 1, clan boss is 5, etc.
I just checked out different Tier lists of Legos to see which lego is considered the "worst" currently.
Elegaius pops up more often than not as the worst lego currently! So I decided to compare him to Adelyn and oh boy! I would take Elegaius over her any day of the week!
Elegaius has an AOE Skill that has (booked) 100% chance to remove two buffs on opponents, which most of the time is akin to a full strip AND the same skill also has a chance to decrease enemy Turn Meters by up to 40%
His passive basically makes him "immortal" and he also brings Block Buffs and Block Active Skills to the table, making him still useful in more areas than Adelyn the Vault Turd!
I am amazed that with all the Power Creep going on in Raid, especially with the release of insane Mythicals, Raid still has the ballz to release a "Lego" that wouldnt be special if it was released as an Epic! but maybe thats intentional!
Just thinking that especially a F2P Account, who struggle to pull Legos from the few Shards they get, could pull this crap makes me pity them!
I think she's gonna be helpful in the great void clan boss or some upcoming new stage in coming updates.
For the community free champ it should have been a great support champ like at least make it so she decreases resistance when she sleeps simular to how ruel decreases speed with his hex
Lady Mikaga also has 100% Sleep A1, is free, is affinity friendly.
I mean not everyone can fuse her she requires some rng luck and resources to fuse
@@sagi5826 absolutely everyone can fuse her. She takes time yes. Luck no, her champs have been in progressive over and over now.
And as Hell Hades said, Sand Devil is mid to late game content. By the time you want Sand Devil you be set. I was 4 epics away when she dropped. It didn’t take all that long for me to finish her fusion
@@MauraNightfire I personally have her but many players dont. i just state a fact, you need rng luck to pull for them or have shards saved specifically for their progressive which is hard since limited fusions and events keep on coming.
Free is probably the wrong term compared to a login champion. Kind of like saying all the rares and epics needed to get her are "free", but that's not really the case. If you have to open a ton of shards to get a champion.. I wouldn't consider them free.

Literally just needed an AOE on the sleep. She then becomes relevant throughout the game until late game where she then transitions in to Devil.
That's all she needed. She'd be similar to Deliana in what she offers.
Or make the dec spd & atk aoe and she could be useful vs waves & hydra if you didn't have better options
Hey HH or team, I just noticed in the optimizer how it shows damage rankings by area based on your forecast criteria, is there a way to see them all ranked ordered? I saw Gnut is #1 for hydra, for example, curious to see the list in order. Cheers!
Personally, I think to make her an SD specialist her a3 needs to sleep for 2 turns, and her a2 needs revive on death, I think then she could enable accessible non godseeker teams that don’t take ages

@hellhades I would guess you get the associated flags/run. Example: 1 flag per dungeon or campaign stage, 5 flags per clan boss key, ect.
Ive said it in other videos but she needs a shield 25%of her max HP AND increase buff duration on that A2 to make her a legendary champ
With a poison set her passive might be good, but overal i prefer the epic bannerlord chancellor yasmin over her so far.
Her A3 needs to be an AOE if they just change that, she will actually be useful everywhere for everyone…as is, she is maybe useful for a (new account only) on Iron Twins…maybe each dungeon boss, maybe some doomtower bosses.
I'm late game, but don't have Godseeker, so for someone like me, having a champ that can rock an area of the game I can barely do, sounds great.
i have scyl in a curing set so i am always removing the max hp effects anyway. same with doompriest
If you choose Brimstone and build her with enough resistance, accuracy, and survivability, she may also be useful for the Iron Twins. With the 5-star soul, that is so that the Brimstone wouldn't be cleansed.
This might actually be the move for me, I have a lot of buffer dps like mashalled that just aren't good for twins
Early game players can’t even use the altar of souls
About her a2, with that type of heal you will never get rid of destroyed max hp. You will eventually die regardless, you wont feel this hp restoration. Let me explain, any boss ingame destroys your hp based on your max hp. She restores percentage of your DESTROYED hp. So what this means is...that HEAL IS USELESS!!!!! Plarium what the hell is this "sand devils" specialist. She has no revive on death, no revive, nothing really helpfull. Cant rely on her sleep aswell. 5 star soul is the only thing that makes her relevant. Atleast she looks good :)
If anyone is having issues with steel fortress the dec speed is nice because even my endgame account doesn't have many dec SPD units
Make her A3 not only go through block debuffs but also stoneskin, can't be resisted, and doesn't trigger polymorph. Then she'd be a niche arena meta breaker. Might be more in line with a mythical type champion skill though
I think the clue was Shaman being who the rewards would change to if you weren’t active enough. At least the other rewards are nice.
I guess they'll change Sand Devil so that he has a buff that blocks debuffs whilst awake instead of having a passive ability that makes him immune to debuffs whilst awake so if she doesn't sleep him she can still put decrease SPD & ATK on him
Pretty sure the flags that you think are for challenges are actually the number of points you earn for each battle in each area for the second part of the login event
Her A3 being irresistible against bosses will be a simple fix, making it aoe will be a nice addition but atleast this will help newer players who can't hit accuracy speed and tankiness
Could be a janky heal with the Curing set and miracle heal, not quite a Marichka heal but closest any new player will come
In my Clan one of my accounts and a couple of other players got the 100 energy instead of the Perception weapon
If her a1 can transfer bombs from bommal, she'd maybe be a good solo with her keeping the atk up off the boss as well.
A3 good for Fire Knight and Sand Devil. She will do well because of the destroyed HPs in both fights. Passive works best on Sand Devil...but a little on Fire Knight still.

Adelyn vs Aeila Lifebraid (Void Epic that was designed for SD)
Healing:
Adelyn Heal = A2 AOE 25% of her Max HP/Removes Destroyed HP
Aeila Heal = A3 AOE Block Debuff + 30% of Ally HP, A1 Removes 25% Destroyed HP from 1 Ally
Sleep:
Adelyn = A3 75% on 5 turn CD (books to 100% on 3 turn CD) adds slow and dec atk
Aeila = A2 1st aoe inc acc for team, then 75% on 4 turn CD (books to 100% on 3 turn CD)
Essentially Aeila is a more early game friendly SD champ (easier to build because of inc acc and only needs epic books) and arguably just better at SD in general. Please buff her Raid
Lets celebrate our community by giving them new Vault Keeper. - someone in raid proly, but the person designing this champ misunderstood the assignment
This is the first free login leggo that I won’t build. I started with Ninja so I’ve gotten many along the way and I even found situational uses for Aleks and Deliana (both in the vault now). If they nerf Blizaar for SD 25 I’ll have to build another team but I guarantee Adelyn won’t be the answer.
Make her a1 transfer all debuffs and her a3 aoe. Bam, becomes a good champion. Or the a3 can single target hit but then also places the debuffs on all so no weak hits

The event looks really well done. The artifacts, souls, etc are A+ but the champion doesn't have much use outside of sand devil and maybe Amius for me personally. I hope they continue to do this type of free champ event in the future, just with better champs.
Nobody says anything bad about the Event, quite the opposite, many are very pleased with it and want to see it in the Future as well!
However, the Champ on the other hand is a BIG Problem! while it is technically "Free" it really isnt! Even if we ignored everything else, there is one thing that will absolutely negatively affect ALL Players from F2P to Kraken! This Turd will dilute the Leggo Champ Pool and will BURN Mercys, 2x Events, double Leggo events and generally everything that has got to do with pulling Shards causing F2P to play longer to get decent champs and Krakens to spend more money to get what they are sniping for on average!
Paylarium is laughing their A$$ off on the way to the Bank while we argue among ourselves how "even a stinking Turd is "great" as long as its "free".
At this point, if Paylarium "downgraded" her to an Epic, it would be a BUFF!!!!!
5 star Miracle heal blessing means 100% to do an additional 20% max hp restore when using her A2.
Outside of Sand Devil. A toxic set should be good on her for her passive. Can someone test her with Haarken Greatblade to see if the debuff spread counts with her passive on enemies that are not the original target.
I don't have Siphi or Godseeker Aniri, and I'm level 95 with a lot of good champs. Not all of us have gotten the key champs needed for some of these areas. I would probably find her very useful for SD progression.
Add turn meter increase on a2, make the dec spd and atk land on all enemies but sleep is one enemy, a1 has a chance to provoke or something else like 1 ally attack, rework the whole passive. She will be an amazing hydra champion.
Another change for the a3 could be a riho skill where she sleeps then Dec def and weaken.
We can use her in cursed city if we need more awakened stars. A really shiny vault hero

Or acrizia/walkmaster instead of the 2nd gnut. Maybe even cold heart goes before gnut and then gnut has soul reap
for me she might be the key to completeing sd 25 since i dont have a good enough awakening on godseeker or thenasil

She feels kinda like easly draft slapdash. My favorite part is the fact that one of her debuffs is decrease ATK. So the Sand Devil will do less damage with his attacks while asleep. Wait what?

Hard to say if she's good against Sand Devil before the rework is out. Her kit is (apparently) built around the adjustments they made to the sand devil, not the current version.
I'm holding off on calling her bad or good for now.
"her kit just scream solely sand devil" and a BAD champ for sand devil, sleep being on a CD is literally what's the point... all of her status effect should be non-res dependant, you need so much acc for sand devil that most early game account will simply not have the gear to even use her in there even if she was good...
Her heal is minuscule and doesn't deal with reduced max hp too well, but add a cleanse to deal with sand devil's NUMEROUS debuffs and it'd be....alright.
At most she'll be solid for Amius sort of...guaranteed brimstone helps...that's about the best thing I can say.
I am not going to lie, I am pretty sure Rathalos was the cause of this champion to be subpar. If you think about it (And this is just speculation) Rathalos for a new account was a game changer, I bet a lot of players where able to easily climb through normal dungeons due to the great skillset rathalos posses, therefore made people spend less money. Now the devs released a more tame legendary to still incentivice people to spend.

What about putting her on Acelin team with Rag and Stag night I don't think I have any other healer champs for bannerlords. So I think that used case would work wonders early game. Also does that A1 mean she could potentially steal the shield from the shield potion keep boss?
Her A3 needs to be AOE and her A2 needs to bring either increase def or strengthen
surely it means each clan boss key = 5 flags that day and each campaign dungeon = 1 etc!
so 75 x campaign 12 stage 3's will cap you out at 75 daily flags.
Did you test her in fire knight? Not sure if his shield is coded as a conditional "block buffs".
The one good thing about her is the free perception gear I just hope that I get a speed boots and with accaracy sub stats.
