I woke up this morning to a phone call from my Doctors. I didn't get good news. I felt destroyed. I was like you, healthy and vibrant. My mind went to the "why me phase". I just watched your video and all that came to mind was I was not alone and others have similar problems. You gave me some hope. I see your enthusiasm and zeal. You are still thinking about the future! I just donated my ticket to the Cherry Springs star party (was to be my first time) because I wanted someone to see the beauty in the sky if I could not. STAY POSITIVE, STAY HOPEFUL AND I WILL DO THE SAME.
@delightfullynot7220 Get this nonsense out of here. MMS is bleach. Giving false hope like this with literal poisons should land people like you in prison.
Hi Ben, I'm writing to you from Italy. I've spent an impressive amount of money and time on this hobby and regained confidence in life, thanks to you and cuiv. I know how difficult certain moments can be, but your smile is an incredible strength. Don't let ANYTHING take it away from you. We are and will remain insignificant on a tiny dot in the cosmos, but at the moment we are the only fortuitous case of Life, and each of us right now is certainly an exception at least in this corner of the universe. That's precisely why your impact is greater than you can imagine. Every smile, every word of encouragement, every moment of joy you share through your hobby has a ripple effect. You inspire others to find their own passion, to persevere in difficult times, to see beauty in small things. Remember that even on the darkest days, your enthusiasm is like a light for others. Your dedication not only enriches your life but also touches the lives of those who follow and admire you. You are a living reminder that life, despite its challenges, is full of wonders to discover and share. Continue to cultivate this passion, spread positivity, and be yourself. In a vast and mostly empty universe, your uniqueness and enthusiasm are precious. Never underestimate the power of your contribution to the world, no matter how small it may seem to you. You are part of a community that appreciates and celebrates what you do. Together, we make this corner of the universe a little "darker" :) Thank you for being who you are and for sharing your light with us. Your RUclips channel is more than just a platform for astrophotography; it's a beacon of hope and a reminder of the awe-inspiring nature of our universe. It encourages us to look up, to wonder, and to appreciate the precious moments we have
Hi Ben! I am writing to you from Russia. We have a lot of people watching your channel. I wish you to overcome the disease and continue to enjoy life and your hobby. I also wish everyone who has suffered from this terrible disease a full recovery! Live and be happy!
Thanks so much! Had a russian roomate in college. Learned maybe a dozen words. Also the only honest car salesman i have ever met was Alex from Siberia. I only go to him for cars now.
God Bless You. I pray you will recover fully soon. Please stay positive mentally as best you can under the circumstances. A lot of people praying for you. Your videos are the best. Please believe you will recover!
I’m not a religious guy but I’ll send positive energy your way Ben. Cancer sucks. I love your attitude and I hope things continue to improve. We’ll all be here whenever you’re ready. But do take all the time you need because YT can wait. Cheers bud.
Stay strong Ben. It’s great to see your optimism for the future. I too have been in many dark places this last year after 2 spinal surgery procedures left me unable to stand, walk and unable to do much else. One year today, I left hospital not knowing what the future held for me. I can now stand and walk short distances with mobility aids. I even used my telescope rig for only the 2nd time in a year. It was like re-learning everything again, but I eventually managed to image the night sky. Wishing you all the very best on your journey to recovery 🤝
I also have cancer and I come from my first chemo. All good, but the struggle is long. The real fight is in the head. Endure, overcome, overcome weakness, stay positive. No matter how bad the news are, the future is not yet written. Lots of encouragement! God bless you!
Mike from NiteZpeed here Ben.... Your Health is Number 1, and were just glad to see your still fighting and still pressing forward even in the face of "Hiccups" ..... Your Will is a testiment to your charicter.... Were all behind you, Were all Praying for you.... Looking forward to The Future of Narrowband....Stay Strong Ben....God Bless.
Keep fighting the good fight and thanks for the update! We'll be thinking of you up at BFSP next week. One of my rigs will be shooting only narrowband all week which I'm sure you'll get a kick out of! Get well soon my friend....
Good luck with the new treatment, Ben! You're really an inspiration with how you're maintaining a positive attitude. Thank you for the great example!! We're all keeping you in our thoughts and rooting for you.
You are truly an inspiration to all of us Ben! You seem like such an incredibly nice guy and I'm hoping for the best for you and your family in the future. Much Aloha to ya!
Hang on Ben, keep up the spirit and focus on what you can control - we’re all rooting for you and your family 👍 May your Gods be with you ❤ Greetings from Denmark
Thank you for the update, I have been wondering about you. I am so glad you are getting better treatments. I will continue to pray, although most of us are strangers we definitely care, I want you to be around for a long time for this channel but most of all for your family. You are strong and I think you can get through this Ben! 🙏🙏🙏
Hi Ben, I love that you haven't let this define you. Excellent medical care and the data revealed is a necessary tool, for sure. However, the things that clarify, bolster and strengthen our spirit aren't quantifiable by the medical model but are equal to, if not more important, to our health. The joy of your children, family and friends, laughter, and as many first world problems as possible are the best medicine. Never met you, but I'm profoundly inspired and proud of your strength of character. I was given 25% chance of surviving 6months, but told my doctor I didn't have time to die because my daughter was 7 yrs old and needed me. She's now 24 years old. Keep the faith, keep doing what you're doing and know that you have partners sending you good vibes to master this-anything is possible
@@TheNarrowbandChannel As a dad, I get it-that's my greatest wish for you. Regardless of what comes our way, find joy in the simple pleasures life offers-those are the ones that are most cherished and remembered.
Ben, I learned a lot from you in past couple of years and my most important learning is not about the astrophotography. Bro, you are an inspiration. Keep smiling and fighting. My family will pray for you. Lots of love and hugs ❤❤❤
Thanks for sharing. I realize this must feel like you are sharing very personal info. But you are very strong! You inspire all of us as we go through our own challenges.
I'm glad to see you're doing better, I've watched a lot of your videos and am working on my first image. Thanks for all the great information you share.
Ben, thank you for the videos and thank you for being so open with what you are going through. You are an inspiration to others. I wish you a speedy recovery. Looking forward to more videos from you!
