- I hope you enjoy this recording of Jeremiah Clarkes legendary "Prince of Denmark's March' which probably is one of the most famous pieces ever written. This piece was recorded at the Stadthalle in Görlitz with Julian Zimmermann playing the Naturar Trumpet and Paul Fey at the Organ.
For this recording I've used the amazing Sauer Organ which sounds incredible in this special concert hall. Restoration of the hall is scheduled for 2024!

Wonderful to hear a natural trumpet played and the trills without valves. Great skill from the soloist and wonderful playing. Thank you Paul.
Thank you so much for watching, Tom! 😀
I totally agree w Tom. Amazingly talented men.
He has some astonishing natural trumpet skills!
Magnifique, orgue et trompette, vous faîtes un beau duo. Merci.🐧
Thanks Paul & Julian. I loved that excerpt. Julian has amazing skill on a natural trumpet. It’s heartwarming that that beautiful Concert hall and it’s Sauer organ will once again be used and heard by the public.
Stunning!! Absolutely beautiful! Love the live trumpeter vs stops on the pipe organ! Fantastic presentation!
Hallo, lieber Paul. Sehr schön und total schön, wie ich es am Sonntag live gesehen habe und hören konnte. Danke für das Treffen. Ich schwärme noch heute, dass ich mit dir sprechen konnte. Thank you Paul and Julian. I love real trumpet and organ in duet.
I have also heard trombone and even real tuba.

Oh Paul, with this March, one more step had been reached from your Rotterdam rendition. Flexibility and ornementation from Julian associated with your superb Sauer playing is really stunning ❤❤
Now, we all hope for other pieces from this concert, a great idea to bring together these brilliant instrumentalists.

One more surprise, Paul 😮 I am very excited to hear this combinaison in comparaison with this March you have played on Marcussen organ, Rotterdam, a few mounths ago....
Woah!^^;😅 That's the exact one I played on the Rieger-Kloss pipe organ two months ago!^^;;🤣 It is amazing that the real trumpet is here for today's video! :)
Real trumpet! Real organ! Real good!🎺🎹
Superb!
I really like this piece of music. I used to play this at church for entrance
Thank you for watching!! 😀
One of my favourite pieces! Look forward to hearing your interpretation! 🇩🇰
Lovely trumpet. Very beautiful 11th harmonic, somewhere in between a fourth and an augmented fourth... Nice to see you record with friends Paul !
Gut gemacht, ganz wunderbar. 👏👏👏
Vielen Dank!
This is wonderful ! The organ has a great match with the natural trumpet ! Thank you so much to both of you.
You',ve finally done it, combined trumpet and organ! Am looking forward to this. From Chicago, U.S.A.
Hope you‘ll enjoy it! 😀
@PaulFey That was great! Keep in touch with Mr. Zimmermann. I also look forward to when the hall and organ are restored. You can put your name in for "Titular Organist." (The "Music of The Baroque" Chorus and Orchestra here mixes modern and period instruments). From Chicago, U.S.A.
Bravo
Klingt schön in meinen Kopfhörern !!!
Das freut mich sehr, danke! 😀

Hervorragend 👍👌
Dankeschön 😀
Dear Paul, That’s always a favorite Jeremiah Clarke trumpet tune. Well done!! That was a well played duo. How often I wished that I had a real trumpeter to play that tune! Thanks, to both of you❤ Royden
Thank you so much, Royden!! 😀
Fantastisch 👌👌👌
Prima klingt gut zusammen
Absolutely amazing both of you!😁👏👏👏👏❤️
A wonderful performance of this great tune. A very grand organ combined with live trumpet makes for an exciting sound. It takes a special talent to play this on an open trumpet with no valves. I enjoyed this. In USA this is frequently called Trumpet Voluntary by Henry Purcell, used for many wedding recessionals. Thank you, Paul, for presenting this video. I hope that you will share more from this concert.
Thank you so much, Gene! Oooh, that’s interesting, they really seem to be the same pieces! 😀
so nice!
I hope you will do more vids with Julian Zimmerman, the best natural trumpeteer in the world.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
👌
Super...Orgel mal anders
😀😀
What's the difference between this piece, and the Trumpet Volontary?
This one is taken from the cycle that Clarke wrote - the Voluntary is the „standalone version“ of the piece I‘d say 😀
