      Thanks Miro. Pond5 is really slow for me as well... That's why we contribute to multiple sites right!

    Jeff - your sales are an inspiration! I hope to catch up with you someday, right now I'm averaging about half of your sales - with about half as many assets. My portfolios average about 5,000 assets per site. So, I think I'm doing OK - taking photos folks want to buy. I just have to keep taking photos and uploading them! Thanks for sharing your earnings.

    Jeff, very well done on another strong month. November was pretty good for me too with total earnings of $1511.49. I agree with you that from hereon the monthly goal be at least $1k. December for me looks like it's going to be a struggle though. Btw you might be in the basement but the lighting still looked pretty good on my TV here. 👌

    Do you upscale your AI created art? If so, to what size do you upscale, and which tools do you use? 🎉

    • @JWhyte123
      @JWhyte123  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, I upscale the images. I have used lightroom but I mostly use Topaz right now

    Pretty good earnings for November, Jeff. I was impressed with your Alamy sales. Of course, Adobe continued to be a steady earner for you. I am interested to see if your AI illustrations continue to show a pattern of selling at a lower price than your photography images.

      So far this December, a lot more of the .38 cent sales on Adobe for me. We will see what happens.

      I started with AI many months after you, so your portfolio is a better indicator as to what we can expect. By the way, I have improved my Adobe rating from 50,000 to 47, 500 in ten days. Ha Ha

    Great I have made a total of 140$ from adobe, shutter stock, getty images and freepik combined just photo a portfolio of 400 photos😊

    • @phat80
      @phat80 8 месяцев назад

      It’s very good for 400 photos. It seems that Russian contributors have been blacklisted as I know people who have 10-year portfolios with 10-50K photos in them and they make barely the same sum.

      Most of my photo are 3d illustration created by me they are unique and demand artistic skills right now im very happy with my earning and planning to get at least 1k earning a mounth on 2024😊

      @@utubefidel1 I have 2000 renders in my portfolio and gave up. Too time consuming with a very little income. I can only pay off electricity bills and cover my spendings on renders 😅 And this is not an abstract art. I made 3D characters - modelling, rigging, skinning, texturing. So it’s not so easy to get even 10 illustrations. The last year I could make money on the stocks was 2019. And this year earnings dropped twice because of free AI images that suits many former buyers of the stock content.

      @phat80 great the secret reside on finding a profitable niche and digging it down I had a past experience with website creation and keywording that helped me a lot I also use AI for description and keywording my photo I use Dall the person must profite from what's going on and for AI I'm not agree with you AI won't take our place if you are an artist you will make somthg unique that can sell and in demand

      @@utubefidel1 And you tell me? 😅 I use MJ myself and I personally see that now I can reproduce 70% of my portfolio without any difficulties. I can make almost the same images in one day on which I spent a year in 2010s. I also sometimes do some work as a graphic designer. I don’t need the stock sites anymore. I only need MJ and some graphic editor to correct some details. And for the most cases it’s enough.

    Does working with alamy site require a full-frame camera
    I use canon d700

      No requirement like that. Whatever camera you have you can use, just make sure you are getting the best out of it you can.

    Hi, I have a question. I recently moved to Canada and would like to know if I need to report my photo stock income somewhere? How? Next year in the tax return? how to specify it?

    • @JWhyte123
      @JWhyte123  8 месяцев назад

      Im not really the best for tax advice, but yah the annual tax return. But if you treat it like a business then you can deduct your expenses agains the earnings.
