    Jeff - you just burst my Alamy bubble - I was doing a happy dance at selling an image for $200 gross (on Alamy) in Feb - and now I hear you sold, not just one, but several photos on Alamy - and one for a thousand! Joking aside, congratulations - and thanks for sharing your monthly sales.

      200 is a pretty good sale on Alamy! I am always happy with something like that. Thanks for checking in and watching!

    I upload to Adobe only because of the integration with their editing products.
    I upload to I stock Getty purely because of the fact they were one of the biggest photo agencies.
    I also hate to upload to Shutterstock because I don't like getting 10 cents but my images do sell often so I do get a decent amount from them overall.
    As I shoot mainly editorial I am limited but it's well worth the struggle as I make acceptable money from my efforts.

      Thanks Richard. Those three sites are the ones to focus on I think.

    Hi, new to this and just in the learning stage. Do you upload same images across the different stock sites?

    • @JWhyte123
      @JWhyte123  4 месяца назад +1

      Across multiple sites, just don't register as exclusive on any of them.

    Do you or should you , copyright your pictures , before uploading them to any of these sites ?

      I always add 'copyrighted' to the metadata when processing in Lightroom so that Google can (hopefully) recognizes the image as not being public domain. That said, in most of the world copyright is automatic so there is nothing to do as far as copyrighting your pictures. Whether people violate copyright? Well, that's hard to control.
