Jeff, congratulation to great year I agree about DT, same for me not really good return with many uploads, Alamy is also good for me compare to 2022, AS is wow! I wish you more increases in 2024. Thank you for sharing and see you around.
Hi Jeff, congratulations on your success. Others here are also testifying that AS is performing much better than SS for them. Anyway, really pleased for you, it's such good news and thank you for sharing this with your 'fans' here! Your video has challenged me to upload more video contents than stills. I haven't reached the required level at AS to be able to upload editorial videos yet; fine with still though. I need to think outside the box to shoot videos that have no people in it. Any advice? I hope the work in your office gets completed soon. Thanks again.
Not sure if this is good or bad news, but I don't believe video content can be submitted as editorial. At this point in time, its royalty free or nothing on AS. Most of my video success has been with drone work, so keep that in mind. I feel like i should be doing more than drone but its just so easy. Also, my Istock has improved with video as well so that's been great. Thanks for watching and thanks for commenting over the course of the last year. I appreciate it a lot.
As a business owner for over 30 years I have to ask. What were total costs in terms of purchases and how many man hours did the work entail? A video like this without those figures means nothing. I would expect these earnings in my business would happen in 115 hours with about $150 in expenses.
A video without those figures means nothing to you. People that do this as a hobby or a side hustle to pay for camera gear know exactly what these figures mean, both in respect to time spent and costs incurred. It's all pretty easy.
Considering that You spent a lot of time shooting, cataloging, listing, etc., etc., etc.,... Only the time You spent (just 2023) doing this Stock Ordeal,,, I wonder how much money You got per hour ?????? :( :( :(
Its impossible to know how much per hour because you value image(s) over a long period of time. How much will a set earn after 5 years - that's the question. Also, don't forget I have more that just time spent - also costs: equipment, travel, gas, computer, subscriptions to Adobe, electricity, home office, etc. I would say that doing this as a hobby is less about making money and more about losing money. But..... I was going to spend it anyway and now I get most of that covered.
Encouraging results, Jeff especially at AS. Thanks for sharing!
Its helpful for it not to be always bad news. But most of the sites are dead. And that's pretty clear.

Thanks Miro. Looking forward to you hitting 1000 subs this year.
@@JWhyte123 Thank you Jeff, I will see what happens, but I am not planning to stop
Thanks for another inspirational video and well done on having such a good 2023!
Thanks for that. Here is to hoping 2024 is better yet.
A super valuable video for microstockers Jeff. Thanks for the insights and well done on such a great year!
Thanks for watching Andrew. Looking forward to your videos this year. Love to see some vlogs in the city you live in!
Thanks for the suggestion Jeff. I'll see what I can come up with. All the best! @@JWhyte123

@@JWhyte123 Hell they'd be better off doing a hundred other things to make a buck and still do photography. Business is business.
Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks for the visit
Great job Jeff! Do you think the drone footage paid off? I’m thinking about getting my license.
I think the stock video would pay for the drone - particularly as you are learning to fly. And then it might be another line of business for you.
what is your goal for 2024?
Realistically, I would like to maintain 1K a month for this year. Not sure if that's possible, but I guess we find out right?
