  • This Bikini set is sooo easy and quick to make: I can finish one set in just around 2 hours. Again, it's an in-depth tutorial with size guide. So even if you've never crocheted before, it's still gonna be easy as a piece of candy. Grab your yarn and hook, I've got your back💗
    When you google "What is the Best Yarn for Crochet Swimwear?", most recommendation for this would be synthetic/acrylic yarn. And that "Natural yarn like wool and cotton can hold water and become heavy when wet".
    I agree, the yarn that I used in this video is acrylic, and I love it. However, I've tried cotton & wool before. Personally I don't think they're bad material underwater at all (especially when your bikini holds on well to your body like the one that we're gonna make, in which we tie-string everything). It kept it shape pretty well underwater. And when I got out of the water, there was no problem.
    For this I would say, if you prefer your bikini to snap close to body, then ANY material would work just fine✨. Only if you want the bikini to be a bit loose upon wearing, then synthetic & acrylic yarn should be your option 😉
    Please note that everything else, including crochet hook size and yarn (weight & amount), was covered in the beginning of the video. Yet they are only recommendations (though highly recommended). You can actually use any kind of tools & materials you want to create your own version of the set, or even different fabric effects. Just keep in mind that your project may turn out larger or smaller than the pattern, depending on what you choose ;)
    This pattern was written with love & care. You are free to use, share the pattern, and sell your final hand-crafted product. In case all cases, it would be nice to mentioned ABoC Studio. Thank you 💗

      @ABoCStudio  23 дня назад +1

      Hii💞 sorry about the late reply. And yes, With the cups you're gonna do the same as for L in the video
      Then for XL you go for 1 more row, and 2 more rows for Xxl
      For the bottom
      Xl you go for the same as L then work 1 extra row after row 14B. And then, 1 extra row after row 28B.
      For xxl you started with 24 chains then do the same as L in the video, then work 2 extra row after row 14B. And then, 2 extra row after row 28B.

    • @ABoCStudio

      Hi, if the yarn size/weight isn't written on the label, you can use WPI method. To find out how to use WPI, follow this link:
      www.craftyarncouncil.com/standards/how-measure-wraps-inch-wpi
      Nevertheless, I can guess that Dk yarn (recommended in the video) is about 2mm💞

  • @delphiphoenix9024
    @delphiphoenix9024 Год назад +3

    With the way my breasts are shaped, I added more rows for coverage. I would normally be a large (27 st) but to cover the sides of my boobs just right I did two more rows for 33 sts 😊 Just a side note. Also I used a 3.5 mm hook with a category 4 yarn so that may have a lot to do with the adjustments as well.

    could this be done with 4 weight yarn?

    • @ABoCStudio
      @ABoCStudio  2 года назад

      Yes you can use that 💗
      In fact, any yarn would work. Just keep in mind that your piece would turn out smaller or larger than the pattern bc of different materials.
      In this case, 4 weight yarn is thicker, so i think you can either go down a size or use smaller hook may be 3.0mm 🤔

    • @charklette6143
      @charklette6143 Год назад

      I was concerned about the size of the holes in the fabric with the original yarn and hook combo, so I used a weight 4 yarn with a 3.25mm hook =) worked great. It took way longer to complete, but now I won't be worrying that people might see through the bikini

      Hii, we only skip the first stitch because it's already have the chain 2 on it (which is counted as 1st) so we don't work another st in there (that would be increasing 1 st). And you are right with the rest, so we skip 2sts, one is the 3rd and 1 near the end ✨🧶
