    I work for HDFCLife and as a person in sales I tell you whenever taking any policy try to talk in the recorded calls only.. try to approach for online policies rather than offline agents being approaching..

      HDFC also not correct, they sold me offline in His office/ Maninagar ahmedabad. paid 5yr after 5yrs recd with 4% only. and they refuse to give feed back/details

    Recently, I was planning for a Term plan from Policy Bazaar.. as because the Premiums are too less compare to other companies with same specification. But after watching this video, I will never go with TATA AIA. They should have some respect to see the senior citizen age & their financial condition.

      I get that people are committing fraud, not the organization, but isn't the company liable for the actions of their employees? A group of people and individuals create the company. The policies could not have been issued if the company/individual followed the necessary protocol and process at the time of sale or underwriting. However, if the policies were incorrectly issued and the couple filed a complaint, the firm could easily revoke the mis-sold insurance, but the corporation did not act even then.
      You'll be glad to know that the company finally agreed to cancel the mis-sold policies and the complaint was finally settled only after the issue was uploaded on our channel and highlighted to the upper management of the company and the government officials.       Don't blame entire company for an employee mistake.
      Every company has agents who does mistakes.
      Tata aia has 99.1% claim settlement ratio while other companies have 85%
      That means fraud employees are 1% in TATA
      And 15% in other companies.
      Tata is still best ❤

    If i consider 21 lakh rupees as principal and interest of 7% which means the 146000 would be annual fb interest they might earn. Plz correct me if I'm wrong.

    This type of cheating is very common. I am also scammed by AIA agent, but the amount is not that high. I can manage to pay for 10 years provided I am alive. That is my concern. Thay should be banned from selling such policies to Seniors above 70

      Ulip is a scam like scheme. Unfortunately people are robbed. As investors we need to thoroughly go through policy document. The first year premium allocation charges alone are at over 12% for ulip. They do day robbery.

    company ki apni term condition hoti plan k according hoti h FG Pension plan me clear kiya hua ki plan me payment return ka koi opation nahi h.. agar agent ne wrong commitment kiya h to use me company ka koi seen nahi h .... policy lene k bad koi dobut h free look perieod ka use kar sakte h policy cancail kar sakte h . .... wese jo intni badi investment kar raha h wo proper jankari k bina pesa nahi lagata .

      The insurance company as a principal company is accountable for the wrong acts of its agents and its employees. Moreover, the insurance company is required to complete the underwriting process before issuing the policy and during the underwriting process the company is required to verify the income documents of the client to establish if the client has the resources to actually continue paying such high premiums on a regular basis or not. The company is also required to make verification calls explaining the terms and conditions and the repercussions of not paying the premium regularly.     I was also introduced to this policy in Dec 2019 and it is to be paid for 6 years till dec 2025 and its a 12 year term, so I wanted to know if I will get benefit from January 2026 or after 12 years ( My policy TATA AIA LIFE GUARANTEED RETURN INSURANCE PLAN

    मैंने पॉलिसी बाजार से tata aia का 1cr कवर वाला " स्मार्ट सम्पूर्ण रक्षा ROP"का टर्म इन्श्योरेन्स लिया है,,,7000 monthly pay करना है 10साल तक,,जिसको मैं 11th साल में ब्याज सहित निकाल सकता हूं(बोला गया है) (और मुझे 70 year तक 1cr का कवर मिल जाता है,,,,,,,क्या ये सही डिसिजन था,,या मैंने कुछ गलती कर दी,,plz बताएं??

    This is not the mistake of Tata AIA Life Insurance Company, mistake happened by agent and customer both, why because customer should refer brochure as well and being an educated customers they didn't ask the questions which they are supposed to Agent.
    Finally in this context, Company is not held responsibility and Customer can approach Insurance Ombudsman

The underwriting department of the business makes the decision on whether or not a policy can be issued. Customers' demands must be understood, and only policies should be offered based on their requirements. Additionally, there is a step known as Pre-Issuance Verification phone, wherein an executive from the company's head office must phone the customer on a recorded line and go through all the details and conditions of the policy. This process was likewise left unfinished in this instance. Therefore, TATA AIA has undoubtedly made a mistake. You'll be glad to know that the company has chosen to cancel the mis-sold policies after the case was exposed on this channel and the specifics of the complaint were shared with the relevant government and company officials.

      @@InsuranceAngels Why I told that is I carefully had gone through ulip policy papers and they loot general public with a lot of charges. While stocks and mutual funds give a possible return of 8-12%, these ulip guys say they take 12% charges just for premium allocation and a lot more charges like amc to follow. That's ridiculous.

      Tata aia has 99.1% claim settlement ratio while other companies have 85%
      That means fraud employees are 1% in TATA
      And 15% in other companies.

    But to be honest maine aisa bhut baar face kiya ki maine jinhe plan batane gai hu, unko koi galat policy de diya
    Sometimes to m confusion ho jaati thi ki ye kon se plan ki baat ker rahe h
    I didn't get any policies from the client but at least their hard earn money is saved
    And as a well educated person i would say they are in some fault as well

      This is not Tata AIA Mistake. They always do and promote ethical selling. As a customer while purchasing any insurance let it be of any company only if you understood the product and if found suitable for your needs then go for it. Do not go by just what Agent is saying. Further always buy from advisors who follow ethical, customer first practices.

      सर पहिले ते यहां पर कहा पर कहां पर भी ऐसा बताया नही गया है की ये टाटा की तरफ से गलती हुआ है तो पुरा एजंट की तरफ से गलती हुआ है यहां पर एजंट ने आपको अच्छे से बताया गया नही है अगर आप हर साल 25 लाख रुपये नाही भर सकते थे तो उन्होने आपको सिंगल पे वाला सिंगल प्रीमियम वाला एफ जी पेन्शन देना चाहिए था यहा पे नही एजंट ने आपको डिटेल बताये और यहा पे नही आपने उसको कुछ पूछा है यहा पे सारासार गलती आप कभी है और जो आपका एजंट है उसका भी है प्लीज कोई भी बजे से किसी कंपनी को बदनाम मत कीजिए

    From the discussion doesn't seem like an issue with TATA AIA. This couple was played by the broker they were discussing it with. They should be allowed to withdraw. Interest should be charged on brokers! These kinds of brokers should be behind bars. They use names of big branded companies to get people to enrol on policies. This helps them reach their targets but gets people into trouble.

      The fault of Tata AIA is loose procedures. Though everyone else is doing business for making money, Tata has a customer centric reputation. It should have an algorithm to rule out mis-selling like this. For example:
      1. Place limits on how much you can invest on the basis of ITR
      2. Put broad constraints on policy features instead of fine-prints
      3. Disallow selling to irrelevant customers.
      4. Have a verification department which provides most important information to potential customers.

      I did trust - my CA, my “Fund Manager” -recommended by my CA and THE invincible TATA Company!! I have come to the conclusion DO NOT TRUST ANYONE in today’s world. Go back to what our ancestors did - keep money in hollowed out floors of your house! At least the money vultures won’t get to it. And Mr. Nitin used the very appropriate word “nexus” and educated or not intelligent or not we all fall prey to this “nexus”! Insurances - per se - should be an ABSOLUTE NO! Win win for the companies and nothing for the insured person. Say NO to ANY insurance except medical insurance. Period.

    As per terms of the policy agreement tata aia is not at fault
    It's mandatory to deposit all over five years and can't withdraw any money before Lock in period
    Only issue here is that it was mis sell of policy by wicked people

    This is classical case of mis selling by insurance agent. He sold this policy looking at his earnings rather customers needs. Without Whatsup/Web/Manual PSC, Company do not issue policies. It appears Agent has played with this process. Never buys from any agents who are totally unknown to you.

    Its mistake of that broker and the victims. Not TATA company mistake. Company always give the terms and conditions in thd policy proposal and bond also. So they accepted terms and conditions. Then how the companies mistake? Even they have freelook period time also for cancellation after policy issuance. But they didn't do that. The why the people blaming TATA. They are very trusted brand at service. Don't blame them.

    Dear, one thing you have not assked from respectful Sr Citizen Couple, while processing this policy, company might have done Wahts apps vedio verification, without this Tata aia never issue any policy.. So if this verification is done thr are least chances to get the refund ..

      Sir mere papa mummy k bhi yahi issue Hai. 2 lacs per annum ka policy hai 5 years ke liye. Unko pension bhi nhi Hai. Thora saving Tha lekin is policy me paisa block ho rha. Sir unka bhi single premium karwane ke liye Kuchipudi solution Bata ye.

      I think you have not watched the complete video properly. The fraud is made by an agent and not by the TATA. You cannot blame blindly a great company like TATA.

    Had very bad experience with tata aia term insurance. Their customer care service is pathetic and dont assign any relationship manager or single point of contact to solve customer issues and keep asking same question to customers again and again . I asked for refund of money/premium paid for second year and luckily i got refund . Be careful with tata aia customer service . Very pathetic it is

    AIA is a chinese company, whose 79% stake was owned by US based American International Group (AIG) but they had to sell their stake to pay the US Taxpayers for their mishap of selling CDS Credit Default Swaps.

      This policy is one of the worst concept and it’s better to do RD for saver side or invest in Mutual funds. I also did big mistake of taking TATA AIA Diamonds saving policy and now I’m crying

    Plan is absolutely correct, In there age only required source of income. So they can invest and take benefits after 5 years.
    Mis guiding by the broker.
    There is no mistake of COMPANY.

      Who appointed the broker and whose responsibility was it to underwrite the policy and see that policies with such high premiums are sold only to clients who can afford such policies and that the policies sold are as per the needs and requirements of the customer.       You can’t reach the company right. In the middle support team will be there and they will obviously do fraud.
      This policy is one of the worst concept and it’s better to do RD for saver side or invest in Mutual funds. I also did big mistake of taking TATA AIA Diamonds saving policy and now I’m crying

    I am also a subscriber to thier policy being purchased in the name of my son in Feb2020 for a five year term with a annual premium of 1.2L which we payed on time but for the 4th one we had to default as being mugged by agencies supposed to reimburse our taxpaid funds in july2022 (14 nos) We lost all our savings in paying for the taxes and charges in order to claim our funds which were denied to us under sly pretexts by officials of the govt.Now we are being cajoled almost every fortnight for the premioum which we are unable to pay bcoz of these manoeuvres .Today again received a SMS(12/4/23)at1600 hrs from them.We urged them to close the policy explaining all this matters but were told to wait upto 2025 that too with a penalty.That is the matter with us.Here again bank managers were involved (HDFC).

    All frauds are committed by agents to earn a few chips, but the sad thing is that, their concerned heads never take stringent action against the defaulters. Tata AIG is most disciplined and fair company. As far as my bitter experience is concerned these sorts of offences are more in ICICI Lombard. ICICI agents choose old senior citizens and dupe them by giving false promises and when the aggrieved complained, the company heads just drag and finally no action.

      Don't blame entire company for an employee mistake.
      Every company has agents who does mistakes.
      Tata aia has 99.1% claim settlement ratio while other companies have 85%
      That means fraud employees are 1% in TATA
      And 15% in other companies.
      Tata is still best ❤

      Pre Issuance Verification Call. The insurance company is required to call the customer and explain to him or her the policy terms and conditions in a simple language on a recorded line and maintain the recording as proof of explanation. Regards

      Company apne jagah se hi hai but kuchh chiting agent aapna commission ke jaria misguide korke policy becha. Lekin aise agentko company ke taraf se kanuni karbai koregi.

      It will be wrong decision on your front if you are thinking so. Tata has very good term plans with best claim settlement ratio. Either buy directly from Company or buy from Advisor whom you know and trust.
