I picked up a Honda HRD535 yesterday with a seized transmission - stripped down and removed gearbox from roller but cannot fully disassemble gearbox for some reason and don't want to damage the casing. Any tips? Trying to find a service manual is also proving troublesome

Petrol goes off really quick nowadays. Sounds mad but I always run my mowers on Super Unleaded. That helps a lot and pretty much first time starters. Honda engined btw.
Hi, i got the same lawn mower bought today for 20€ … I already cleaned the carburrator but still no luck.. If i use starting fluid it will start but dies instandly.. Now i dont now what to do, any suggestions???
make sure the choke inside the carb opens and closes correctly
@@MowerMan thanks for the fast reply.. im gonna look at it in a few hours since its night now but i think that it works like It should..the choke linkage is mounted correct.. i keep you posted.. cheers from Belgium
I notice that when i put in in choke that the carb not opens or closes but the linkage are mounted correct....And if i push the linkages manually the carb opens and closes fine..??

What i cant understand about this machine is its highest cut is just over 2" yet the recomended height for good striping is 2 1/2" - 4" ,why is this machine so low ?
SPOONER LEE Maybe the information you are reading references the deck height and not the actual height of the blade
@@MowerMan the blade is pretty much inline with the bottom of the deck anyway ,
Should cut higher than 2 inches shouldnt it ?
