Honestly wouldn't normally be a style I would be drawn to but that knife is just......DAMN! I love it.
Beautiful knife. The gunsmith in me wants the pivot cross slot to be consistent in all of those. They should've milled the slot after they set the pivot so each slot is in line.

Shiro’s custom class and full customs both are on a whole other level. I’ve learned a ton about their tiers from watching Fab Blades. That man gets some mine blowing knives in in the regular. I believe he has a feature on one of these as well.

I love this configuration. I’ll come back to this on occasion to appreciate it. On a tangent, I really like the Ignis special edition. That one might be on the edge of attainable for me. The gen 5 F95 you showed is awesome, but as I have a previous version of an F95 but do not have an F3 in any configuration, that one might my target. Any thoughts on it (lanyard and all)?
I got one last year, it's one of my favorites too. I also have an original full size Mayo Dr. Death in the same Dense Twist Damasteel, but with a jigged handle. Do you want me to send it to you?

MC has more $ tied up in his Shiro collection than I have in my entire collection. Lol. And here I am happy with the fact that I own the same raw titanium E-Knives edition Quantum (which has been used more than anything I own) and a Blue Denim RJ/Shiro Overkill (which was a gift from my daughter so will never leave my collection). I love the Damasteel blade and love the CF, but I'm not a fan of knives that have those speed holes in the scales. I don't think the Dr. Death is a knife I would want to add to my collection, but we all have our own likings so it shouldn't matter what others think. All in all, it is a good looking knife though.

Wow, stunner! That silver cf front scale and the engraved filler tab just, chef's kiss all around. And to think, the most unique knife I own is a blade-swapped PM2(to be fair it's perfect) lol that Shiro is leagues beyond anything I'll ever own✌️🖖🤘

hm... interesting. i usually find myself agreeing with MC's preferences, but not on this one. i hate how alutex looks as a raw handle material (the edges look so rough and unpolished), and the way that the handle swells out as it meets the blade (which MC was glowing about in this video) disrupts the typical flowy shiro aesthetic.
but not every knife is for everyone, and i'm glad MC found (another) grail for his collection.

In all my years, I've never met a guy that had to knife fight his way out of a battle. They cut paracord, opened MRE's, cut strings on uniform, and cut the tape open on care packages.
Never met any CAG or SF dudes then I take it. Combat can go downhill rather quickly in reality. I assume if you were in the military you definitely weren't Infantry. Hand to hand combat is a great skill to have.
