I find it funny that a bunch of Japanese words sound like Swahili and Local dialect spoken in Kenya. Like Kuma means Vagina and Moto means hot. So everytime I hear Kumamoto I think of Hot Vaginas 😂😂😂
@@elhugeo The cost of rent, real estate, and the cost of living is just much higher in the US and other Western countries. You can produce all your stuff in the US, no one said you can't. If you did that, most people couldn't afford to buy a computer, smartphone, smart television, etc. Since the cost of labor is , like 4 to 10 times higher in the US compared to other countries, you will pay $4000 to $6000 for a smartphone, $4000 to $5000 for a computer, $2000 for a 55" smart tv, etc. You won't be able to export that to any other country, because most countries couldn't afford to pay those inflated prices. You aren't really exceptional, you are actually pretty pathetic.
I was in on the water storage, treatment, and reclamation systems at the Intel plant, in Tempe. A little bit of water can go a long way. I've done treatment plants for small towns, that see the same water two to three times a day.
@@paulschneeman1476 Thanks for the info. I didn't know that the chips are already manufactured. I'm sure that they know what they are doing but I was just curious about the process...
They treat their workers bad and the site is a osha violation payday for the person that goes into the AZ building I was working in the fab and I see a big gas cylinder of argon a chemical that freezes things as far as I seen n it had a flexible thin pipe going into a new tool hold on and that pipe was going across a walk way held up by a string from the harness that the people use for fixing things up high I couldn’t believe it not only that but theirs lots of safety biohazard chemicals that are just spilled n the rooms aren’t close well n not ventilated well yet
What happens to it functionally if China absorbs Taiwan? Does TSMC become a non Taiwan company or would the US gov absorb it and somehow keep it running?
Tsmc is a public traded company, and it was said US invested holds about 70% of the share.... It gets Taiwan in its name, run by Taiwanese, but majority share holders are not from Taiwan...
First of all, that is not TSMC building in Arizona. That is someone else. Those people there are being scammed. There will never be computer chip manufacturing in Arizona. With those people are doing their is real estate fraud.
I feel like this has got to be a joke. The chips made by TSMC in the U.S. are just not gonna sell well because the cost is too high. It's like TSMC is competing with itself-U.S. TSMC vs. Taiwan TSMC. So, this whole thing, it's just a political joke.
Meanwhile, TSMC in Kumamoto, Janpan is almost ready for production......
Because labor cost of Japan is much lower than US.
It about the permitting process which slows things down and, then of course American way of building things.

Its a tragic of bringing back America manufacturing. Too slow
hey, Japan tsmc already finished 🤣🤣🤣🤣
TSMC Arizona's first lab is also finished.
This news is about their second one.
Literally, 0:12 "Second factory"
Hey hey! Take it easy on the Americans ok? They don't share the same work ethic and skills as the Japanese 😊
i moved back here for this bro the tech world is so shot rn
Na leave
If you dont like drinking water then push this. Look up how much drinking water is sucked out of the aquifer to cool silicon chips on a yearly basis.
Lol TSMC Japan already finished 😂😂😂😂😂😂, took only 2years
Eventually, you will get it, who knows maybe in 2050 or something. ROFL 😆
Well we don’t have slave labor in the USA like the countries that build so “quick” overseas

Brilliant to build in a desert!!!! What will you do when the water runs dry????
Lmao what a joke
They taking all out water
TSMC payment is too low in US standard.
And USD is historically strong to produce and has low competition.
Delay,,,,,,
Interviewed here. They were 20 mins late and I couldn’t even understand what the fuck the ladies were saying. Thank god i dodged that bullet
Where will the water come from in the manufacturing process? Chips require a lot of water...
from your house!

If you studied the process chips are brought in already manufactured and cut, from plants which specialize in that part of the process.

Alfalfa farms already take too much. That's capitalism for ya, it's more important to represent the interest of foreign businessmen over local labor
Wow take so long to build a semiconductor plant in US
Who will buy the chips?
Bidenomics
Actually, the chip act is the reason this is happening. 😂😂
The delays I am not sure how they are related
What kind of specialist, exactly?
more subsidies now
