John it’s crazy watching through your videos over the years, you gain and lose weight like no one I have ever seen

I got my ankle kit but could use help in how to load it effectively and will. I bought 2 kits using your link but the ankle kit doesn’t hold the tourniquet well, it protrudes far out and I’m concerned it will fall out.
A video on staging several of the kits would be helpful.

Obviously, I'm commenting on an older video but I just got my ankle IFAK a few days ago and just ordered some supplies from Amazon. This channel shifted my focus from pure gun training to medical, which is quite convenient during the CCP virus pandemic.

John thank you for what you do to bring gun saftey and self defense awareness to people like myself. Its something that helps us to understand the full spectrum to the choice of ccw. Ignorance is deadly but this education really makes the world a safer place. God is definitely using you. Killing a bad guy isn't what it is but stopping the threat is. Deadly force is something that is used as a last resort and as good guys we sometimes only get 1 second to decide so training and education is a must or ignorance will prevail. Ignorance is deadly

What size TQ is displayed in this ankle IFQ kit? My CAT TQ is much taller, and I can't get the strap to go over the top of the TQ and secure on the velcro.

John - you did a video back in Sept 2017 about the Worldpoint Trauma STORM Ankle Kit. How does that compare to this one? I'm looking to get one of those and I'd be interested in that comparison. Thanks!

I used to use the AFAK from US Palm/Wilderness, but had quite a few incidents where my H&H z-fold gauze would pop out the top and fall out the bottom of my pants. Luckily, I always noticed, but it was still unsettling. I will say that it was comfortable, but I have since switched to another set up that has hook and loop retention for most of the items. My newer rig isn't elastic, which means it slides down to the top of my shoe, unlike the Wilderness rig. They each have their pros and cons. Still searching for that perfect AFAK. Thanks for the vid.

Been waiting on my belt for 13 days and it still hasn’t shipped (even after being told it would ship a week ago). I called to discuss the long shipping time and was told “we aren’t Amazon.”
My initial excitement has been squashed. The quality of this belt better be incredible if it wants to overcome the major disappointment of the ordering process.

Their website and product listings are antique. They even admit the photos are out of date. Don't think I will be placing an order.

Customer service was a bit lacking... have had one of there belts for years and called to get an RA number to have them replace the Velcro. The lady was fairly short and not so friendly... great product and awesome gear. Just wanted them to come off a bit happier that a customer was calling. But still the only company i recommend.

Patagonia produced belts like those around 1975 or so , I own two.. No Hitch Pitch.. Very fine adjustments and no slippage.. Hollow nylons tubing is the belt material.. I wear one every single day, and I can wear my paddle holster using it.. Days have changed from wearing half a steer around your waist.. But fine build leather belts have their place.. I do wear one off and in when I carry as it does better for keeping the holster the correct area...

1-1/2" five-stitch instructor's belt, FTW! Everyday... I'd also remind belt owners that The Wilderness will renew the velcro on your belt very reasonably. I've had mine done several times.

I have an original “the wilderness tactical” Instructors belt that I bought 24 years ago and it’s still nearly perfect...not to mention it’s the absolute best concealed carry belt period...Ralph, Joan and Sam..the founders of the company couldn’t be finer people, with a slogan like “overkill never fails” you’ve got to have killer, quality products...and they truly do! Check them out.......☝🏼

The Wilderness has got to have some of THE best velcro ever made. I wear my instructor belt everyday and have for YEARS and the velcro has not wore out - yet. I've had cheap walmart phone cases where the velcro wore out in a couple of months. I don't know where they source their velcro but man... oh man! I also hear they will replace the velcro when it does wear out for a minimal fee.
