Congratulations 🎉🎉 you should be proud of yourself, a 42 is really impresive. You should make a video about what did you do to get a 6 in English and give advice for those who are studying English as their second language and want to get a 7. Good video btw.
Chelsey Abbott basically top score for each subject is a 7, plus you must have passed a community social class (you do community service) and you must write a sort of thesis but much smaller. You must have 24 points to pass and get the certificate but only if you have a good grade in the community service class and on your extended essay.
Chelsey Abbott Also the IB program is stated all around the world but for ny country (mexico) only a handful of schools actually have it and they can get pretty selective at times, my class was of 40 students max.
You did UWC right??? I am going to Pearson College in 2 weeks and I can not wait!! I am kind of worried about IB though. I really want above 40 points 😅😅
I know three languages fluently and I took French as well, where I got 7s until my teacher decided to teach us all as if we were native speakers, so I dropped it immediately
Congrats on your results! Could you record how you studied for history hl? I’m kind of struggling with this class right now, especially with the essays. You sound pretty confident about it so maybe you could give us some tips? 😁😁
Thank you! I just uploaded a video I filmed about my study method where I showed my study method for history. You can find it here: ruclips.net/video/OtgcChXzv9g/видео.html
Congratulations that was an exceptionally good performance all the best for your future I’m currently doing Ib 1 I have taken biology at HL Can you help me at some point if possible
Thank you! Unfortunately, I can't help you with Biology HL since I was only a SL student and gave away all my notes before leaving my school. But good luck for your studies!
Hi! I organised my flashcards according to the units of the course and had an extra stack of cards for the key concepts. I did a lot of research on case studies and added them to the flashcards to ensure that I had some evidence to support my arguments.
Thank you! I guess my best tip is to incorporate as many primary sources as you can (as long as they are relevant to your research question). And spend more time researching than writing. From my experience, over 70% of your work is done when you finish your research notes and outline. Good luck with your EE!
Rodrigo Canales It is good to find real historians‘ claims to back up your own. But what makes your EE really great is when you can identify areas of historical debate, present the different schools of thoughts (and heir representatives) on the issue, and then decide (and argue for) which side you are on. This requires much in-depth research but it also tends to pay off.
I was wondering if you could make a video on your history ee, please? my teacher is the worst and I have less than one month before submission! Pleaseeeee? :( I just want to make it as good as I can but I really don’t know how, I have looked everywhere!
HI! I passed all my resources for writing a good EE down to other students at my boarding school so I don't have them anymore - sorry! But I would highly recommend peer review. Having my peers read over my essay helped me realise which paragraphs were not clear enough, where I had overlooked grammar mistakes, and whether my tone was academic enough. Good luck for your EE!
In which country is your school located? What is the name of your school? How much does it cost for foreigners to study in an international baccalaureate at your school for one year? in advance Thanks for the answers.
My school is Li Po Chun United World College of Hong Kong. They only offer a two-year program and you cannot enter for only one year. You have to apply to your national committee of the UWC foundation to get admitted to the school. Since I applied from Germany, I automatically got a scholarship for all the costs my parents could not cover. Therefore, I do not have a real overview of the total costs. But if you're interested in attending the school, your national committee can provide you with a full list of the costs.
Hi! We had to take some science and I chose Biology since I studied the subject before and therefore knew that I would not mind continuing to study it!
Hi I’m in my last year or middle school programme IB and I’m getting a MacBook I don’t know if I should get this rose gold 12 inch one or the MacBook Pro 13 inch one without the touchbar . My only concern is that the 12 inch will be too small .
I switched from a 13-inch MacBook Pro and I did not regret the change. I think you can get used to any size and I found the MacBook's light weight to be super useful when carrying all my heavy school books around. But I would advise you to look at both models in a store and then make a decision.
I got my predicted grades (1 year to go still) and I'm super happy. Here they are: English A Literature SL: 7 Mathematics SL: 7 Biology HL: 7 Chemistry HL: 6 Psychology HL: 7 Spanish ab SL: 7 *I'm predicted a 44/45*
Hi! You can study both Geography and History by taking one of them instead of a Group 6 subject. If you would like some more information on the different subject groups, check out this section of the IB website: www.ibo.org/programmes/diploma-programme/curriculum/

UPDATE: I ended up getting a 7 in Global Politics through the remark which raised my overall points to 43!
oh my gosh that's SO GOOD!! i'm so happy for youuuu
congrats!
congrats! I’m hoping to get 38 points next year! What did you do for individual lab work in Biology?
YO GOOD JOB THAT'S AMAZING

Congratulations!! A 42 is amazing!
I got a 27/45 and I partied for weeks
Wait so its out of 45? What is a good score on each topic? A 5? I have never heard of IB before

wird deine Fächerkombination in Deutschland anerkannt als gleichwertig zum abitur sodass du in Deutschland studieren könntest?
Nein🤗
No entiendo cómo es la escala. ¿Es desde el 1 al 7? O hasta el 10?
hey i was just wondering how did you study for global politics

Congrats
Are you actually German?
Yes!
I live in a different country, and I didn't get the grades? Is 7 14/20?
Yoo congrats that's impressive. Some tips for History EE? Presenting it in 1 month

Thanks! But what about references? I think that most of my work is just mentioning other historians, I don't know how to feel about that.

Elena Handtrack you have to pay to be in IB in other countries? I had no idea. In the US it is just part of many public schools.
2018 in how many language exam
if you mind me asking, which university did you end up going to?
I'll share more information on my college applications and which university I'll attend when I'm starting my college series in a few weeks.
Can you make a video on global politics!
Congratulations! Your parents wont beat you tonight. All the best :)
Why did you choose Biology in your IB if you knew you were going to study law?

@@ElenaHandtrack ohh, so is it a compulsion for everyone to choose atleast one science subject in the IB?
Yes!

Hey cutie, can you talk a bit more about your math study system please? Thank you so much!😊
42 sucks, I got a 50
50 is an impossible score
Ulysses Kamps Are you talking to yourself ?
@@chamallow989 No I mean 50 is literally not a possible score. I was clearly being sarcastic. 42 is an incredible accomplishment.
