Great interview! I assisted Peter Jordan, Dod Miller and Jonathan Olley back in the 2000s, all top photographers with amazing stories to tell, look forward to part two.
Honoured to have worked alongside Mike and the other Network members and staff in the early 90s. I remember the soirees and the 70mm dupes I used to take out to magazines. The most inspirational two years of my working life.
Fantastic interview with a very accomplished and fascinating person! Mike Goldwater is such a wealth of information and a true gem of the photography world. Wonderful that you were able to connect and interview him. Mike was very humble and engaging with some amazing stories that are both intriguing and inspiring.
@@jamesburk3959 yes, thank you. I was really glad to get all that experience recorded and shared. There are some photographers who did quite well in the 1980s but their work since was terrible. Whereas Mike Goldwater has continued to make outstanding work his whole career.
Not using flash is like all the movies now are saying: "we did not use VFX", but in reality, it uses lots of it, but in a way you cannot tell. Great interview & story, thanks.
