And The Women Gathered

The Black Women’s Health Imperative and the Atlanta Mayor’s Office of LGBTQ Affairs joined together for a special Pride 2022 month event entitled 'And The WOmen Gathered'. The event included dinner, conversation, and live taping between Black trans and cisgender women aimed to bridge the gap between intersecting communities. The event was hosted by our Director of Digital Communications, Lisa Cunningham, and was sponsored by our On Our Own Terms HIV prevention program spearheaded by Nakesha Powell.
