Finally someone who uses the correct name, " Mod Podge", and not "Modge Podge". I wonder if someone just read it the wrong way and everyone kept repeating it The wrong way. Excellent tutorial! Thank you.
Our mouths like to say rhymes, so if two words have letters in common we spit out a rhyme instead of actually reading the letters with our brains. Like seeing "beaucoup" and saying "bookoo."
OMG!!! I thought I was the only one who collected teabag paper. I love love love it too. I use it for my sculptures. Teabag paper looks a lot like skin. I love what you’ve made here, so beautiful
Hi there! What a great idea! You are right! Tea Bags do look like skin. I would never have thought to use them that way. Thanks for sharing your idea! Thanks for watching! 🙂

@@AnytimeJournals I just happened upon your video, and now I'm a subscriber too! While I don't create journals, I am a card maker, and these would make stunning front panels. They're delicious!
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Sorry you do not like the music. The music is a matter of taste. Many people enjoy it and of course others don’t. Please feel free to turn down the volume if you’d rather not hear it. Thank you so much for watching! 🙂
I prefer no music also. Maybe if it was not quiet as loud as it is. I just enjoy you videos and don’t want to keep turning the volume up and down. Great creative work, thank you so much for sharing. So many of us are going to try this technique. 😊
Brilliant idea and use of paper bags and embossing folders ! Thank you for showing your technique. 💖💖 I also find the music far too loud, and would prefer not to hear any music at all.
What an awesome idea. Really enjoyed watching this easy to follow Vid. Looking forward to watching many more :). Not many Aussies paper crafters, that I have come across, so lovely to find another one :). Thanks heaps for the share :)
Thank you very much! There are a few of us Aussie recycle paper crafters out there. Here are a few channels for you to check out if you're interested 🙂 ~ Bonny And Clive, Penny Rose Journals and The Purple Outhouse ~ Thanks for watching! 🙂
Love his idea of recycling with teabags and paper bags but the finish after the embossing is awesome. I can see me using this concept for my greeting cards and journal covers.
I have tons of brown packing paper saved from 2 years of shipped packages so now I have lots of ideas... I'm thinking this is a great idea for a book or journal cover. Thanks, I am now subscribed!!
Hi, and thank you so much for subscribing! Yes, they do make a lovely journal cover. I have made a journal cover using this technique. I have a photo of the journal cover on my Instagram if you'd like to have a look. Hope you have fun making these! Thank you for watching 🙂
👏👏👏 What a FABULOUS idea! What is the exact name of this foiling sheet? I'd love to purchase a few! (Definitely in GOLD, ROSE GOLD and COPPER) Btw, it a pleasure to watch your video! You explain everything so simply & clearly that it's easy to understand and perform together with you! #YoureAGreatTutor 👏👏👏
Glad to see a reuse craft! I dont have big fancy items to make crafts. Just bought my first IOD alpha stamps. I wasnt sure if these small crack machines were worth it either but think I may look at some. Im pretty good at DIY without all this but would be nice to make tags for my sewn items or to recycle more! My mother Scottish immigrant so I joked her middle name was recycle!
Hi there! All my video's are reuse crafts 🙂 I'm a recycler at heart. I don't have many fancy things to create with either, unless I find things in a 2nd hand shop or they are very cheap to buy. To buy my Embossing machine I was lucky enough to receive two gift vouchers for a craft shop, one for my Birthday and one for Christmas, and there was a sale on, so I used those to purchase one. Thanks for watching! 🙂
I gather the blue stuff you are wiping on the bags is glue?! fantastic finished embossed product . Love love love it . It always amazes me how people come up with these ideas .
I really enjoyed the video. It's a great technique, thanks for sharing! FYI - If you feed your embossing folder through your big shot at a slight angle, the folder will go through much easier 😎
Absolutely beautiful! And the 3D embossing folders have amazing depth. I know how frustrating it can be getting the “sandwich” right! But once you get the formula correct it makes it enjoyable! Sizzix has plates and silicone mats (or did have) which make it work every time, and won’t break the machine… I absolutely love the paper bag and tea bag projects you created. I look forward to seeing more of what you do. Thanks for sharing your ideas 😊. ❤❤
I found the roll of foil in a second hand store, in a bag full of craft items I didn't know what it was, I'm still unsure what it is lol. I didn't know what to do with it. It sat unused in my craft draw for years, until I accidently discovered that it stuck to Staz-On ink, that got me excited! lol. Thanks for watching 🙂
What a great idea! I never would’ve thought of using ink w foil…even though I’ve used foil w alcohol inks….thanks for sharing! Your results are gorgeous! .

Thank you so much for sharing! You just gave my collection of brown paper bags a new lease on life. I have been collecting embossing folders forever. Now I can actually have a wonderful use for them. I also have wanted to try using the pressing foils but couldn't come up with a reason on why I needed them. Well, now I have one. Thanks again for your great tutorial.❤❤❤
Love these!! I just got my gold leaf today it was the only thing that was missing to make them. Thank you so much for such a wonderful idea. They are just beautiful.
Thank you! The different colour foil would be awesome! When I bought a bag of craft stuff from a second hand store and I found the foil in there, I had no idea what it was or what it was used for. It sat in a craft draw for years until I cut a piece off to play with. I accidently dropped it on something that was covered in Mod Podge that was still tacky and it stuck and the gold came off. I was obsessed with covering anything tacky with the stuff lol .. When I discovered StazOn was tacky .. Well, the rest is history! Thank you for watching! 🙂
Wow bet that goes through a lot of glue gun. I'm wondering if there's a less expensive glue like a white paste. But love how they come out after the modge podge. And the foiling technique and inking is wonderful. I've been fighting with trying to add wax like paste to raised embossing with poor results. And to see how well inking pads seem to work here OMGosh can't wait to give it a try with embossed plain card stocks. Now I have to give this brown bag and tea bag scrunge like look a try. I've got a stack of bags in my basement cabinet. We choose bags here in our area of the states over plastic so we sometimes have way lots. And what a fun way to use them. Thank you so much for experimenting with this and sharing with all of us. Love it.
Hi there! I don't use a glue gun for anything I make. I'm not a glue gun fan. I was using Glue Sticks which are reasonably priced. The cheap ones from $2 stores work just as well.
