This technique is an amazing way to add dimension to a background. What a wonderful way to use the embossing folders. So many crafters emboss and then add color to the raised areas. I love the idea of removing color from the raised areas. And the color combinations are endless. Wow! Thank you, Gina, for showing us this technique.
Thank you Gina. I've never attempted embossing folders before. You have inspired me to try them. Love the Tapestry and Happy Hearts embossing folders and your card is lovely.
I love doing this technique which I learned from you Gina 😊. These are beautiful backgrounds and Fall is my favorite season so of course, I love making Fall cards.
I'm new around here, but, U made my day with this technic and color palete - *sooooo me*!🐝 (I'd stick only with the pumpkins 3, smaller ivory panel , just to ENJOY the awesome woody leaves)🍁🎃🍂🪵🧡🤎👌👌👌 TY GINA!
wondered what you were doing with the stamps spread out!! OH!!! Ingenious!!! what a great idea! Now i see why you said it'd b good for making multiples!!
Thank u Gina. I love this technique. I haven't seen this b4. Can u use markers 4 this technique? I don't have that many ink pads. I have a nail polish block that has 3 or 4 different sides (color). Each side has a different purpose 4 filing my nails. Does it matter which side I use? Could u also use a nail file as well 4 this technique? Have a great, blessed day.
I actually like the darker edges, especially with the one that looks like wood. Tells me I should start with a smaller piece of cardstock to retain the edge look. Thanks for bringing this older technique back.
The rule of three is really uneven numbers so three in one place and one in another is really ok and I think it looked great. Love your cards. Have been watching for many years. Do you remember the red card you did with the bleach many years ago? Still one of my favorite. I saw you use the bleach technique recently. I was happy to see that.
I love you two - I just told my husband "they must have a lot of fun at home." And he said, "either that or they can't stand each other and Tom just stays in the dead space". Just kidding - lol.
Hi there a friend showed me how to go on RUclips and I’m hooked to your site Do you have dvd’s that I can buy I live in Australia take care Annette Thank you I so enjoy the cards
real question: why do we do our beautiful designs on a separate piece of card & then glue to the base. Is the extra need for stiffness? Just wondering....
Like with the brown teal leaves. After you sand could it work okay if then you took a dark brown and ran it over the sanded area???? Just wondering if it would look good or a hot mess😂
Such a fun technique to revisit Gina and I LOVE the beautiful card you created with the woodgrain panel. So pretty! Had to giggle at Tom's rebranding suggestion, Stampoo 😂🤣 You two are so fun! Your die-cutting template tip really is the best too!
I have some GKD patterned paper that would match pretty closely to the card you made with the pumpkins and sunflower on it. The greens, browns and was it honey mustard? Would look great with the master layouts you used on it!!! Remember when?!?!
I LOVE your blooper reels!!! Do you have any current ones? I still have to laugh when your cuttlebug plates go flying across the room!! I hope that with current technology you did not redo them all!!! Loved watching this!!! Thank you!
1:01:27 I love this process (new to me) and the fall card is amazing! I watch your videos but have never commented. I thought it was about time I let you know you do beautiful work. Thank you.
That was fun! I love that technique! I will definitely have to give that a try. The card is amazing! I love the fall colors and the composition is really great!
Where you have a 'foil Friday' you should have a 'throw back thursday' which goes through older techniques and older gina sets that people may not get out as much anymore as you are always bringing out gorgeous sets
I love that you NEVER seem to feel rushed in making and laying out the designs.
I love this technique! Thanks for reminding me! The backgrounds are all stunning!!!!!
This was a great show with this awesome technique Gina. Love it😍
Hi Gina & Tom from Angela UK
I really like your finished card. Hope you do a card with your blue snowflake panel. Love watching…
They may be old techniques but to me they are new.
For Tom, word of the day “exhaustipated” too tired to give a poop!
Fabulous idea
Didn't catch you live but just watched the replay! Love the card you made and the "old" new techniques you used! Thank you again for sharing with us!

Beautiful fall card!
I typically use a sha4pie marker to label the top of my embossing folders
I really like this. Never saw anything like this before. So pretty. Gonna definitely try this one. 😊
I love doing this technique which I learned from you Gina 😊. These are beautiful backgrounds and Fall is my favorite season so of course, I love making Fall cards.

I absolutely love the one with snowflakes. They are all very nice. You are so talented.
I love this card, great layout for card and backgrounds beautiful
Beautiful! I really like the distressed background. I didn’t think the little panel was necessary, but it makes a huge difference! Good eye Gina! 😄
❤❤❤❤ stampoo 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I don't remember the cuddle bug, but I think I remember this technique. I really like the results.
This was a GREAT technique to bring back for us!!! Beautiful, easy, and fun! Thanks

My favorite comment was from Gina. The SpongeBob and hours later.😅
❤❤❤ these backgrounds and the technique too! Do you think this technique would work with the newer 3D embossing folders?
Thanks Gina, I have not seen that before, looks great ...greetings from South Africa 😶
Great tips for mass producing! Big family, big, huge. 12:35pm
