"Who Killed the Toy Maker?" is an episode of Burke's Law starring Gene Barry, Peter Barton, and June Allyson. Amos and Peter discover that someone's not playing after an eccentric toy manufacturer is killed by an exploding stuffed animal.

I didn't have that much track but I did have the trestle set. I remember also the little bottle of oil you used to get the smoke. When you used the eye dropper or whatever it was to put some into the smokestack it leaked out onto the rails and caused the engine to slip.

Isn’t Burke required to read Prescott his Miranda rights? Also, why do these suspects crack instantly and confess with no pressure at all on them? Just once, I’d like to see a suspect plead the 5th amendment and call an attorney

In the black and white series you see "up and coming" stars before they had their own series... here you see those who had their own series. Actually I like the shows that give roles to memorable "stars" who could use something to do.

They would never have gotten one in real life. They had no substantial evidence for a judge to grant a warrant. Prescotts attorney woulda had that thrown out. Burke violated prescotts 4th amendment rights

@@Adamguy2003 I loved Patrick for years and years before making the connection. And I only ever knew about him because my boyfriend back at the time had a 7 year old who loved the show. Sad and with spooky timing, writing about Patrick now when the creator of SpongeBob just recently died. Eerie sometimes, the timing of things.....synchronicities of sorts
