Brittany (Ginny) and Cynthia Daniel (Jenny): Scene 1 (10:49-11:35), Scene 2 (21:15-22:37). The future Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield appear on this episode. They play identical twins here and they are identical twins in real life.
This whole series like the 60`s version is an absolute hoot of a who dun it...Love the elegance, the dress or costume, articulate with a very snappy dialogue... This series is a hoot spin in murder... This ranks with Perry Mason... containing a time line of movie/tv history... Like Perry, Amos had a later or modern (90`s) series. so the parody stands. Have Gun Will Travel also had intellectual moments of comedy. Such great actors...you can tell they had fun (for the most part) on the set. The performance reflects it. (at least from my experiences as back stage cast) The naked truth line is a classic.
Really good updated version of the original. "Jack Templeton will never fulfill his dream of winning an Olympic gold medal in the 100-meter dash." "Your honor, Jack Templeton is 53 years old." "He still had his a dream." Great dialogue. Fun guest stars. A good watch!
Hope from days, uncle Joey from Full house, George Jefferson and the twins from sweet valley . I love this show with all the guest stars from other tv shows. The late 80’s and early 90’s had some really good mystery shows.
All killers on law confess with absolutely no pressure to do so lol. The judge shoukd have pleaded the 5th and cal a lawyer. Also, isn’t Burke supposed to read him his Miranda rights?
Freakin' LOVED this show! Unfortunately, one of the reasons I revisited it here was due to the very recent death of the legendary actress Rebecca Balding, who was long-married to this show's (and many others) writer/producer James L. Conway!
If you binge the original series, you'll notice the EXTREME economy of sets. Establishing shots were used over and over. I guess old habits die hard. Notice Duncan Mcleod, the photographer in the bikini photo shoot. With his ponytail, he stands out in a crowd of extras in a number of episodes.
Oh God, not Dom DeLuise again - one of the worst actors (and I use the word VERY loosely) on TV who plays exactly the same role no matter what he’s in without any variation! He’s utterly excruciating to watch.
Every Burkes Law episode in a few seconds (yep, twigged this on first viewing, years ago): 1) sleazy skunkbag gets bumped off, 2) Burke is told about it, looks confused/constipated for a few moments, goes to scene, mumbles some 'stuff', 3) 15-minute pointless scene involving that boring "Gee Son - I hope you're not embarrassed working with the Old Man? b/s", "It's not that, Dad, It's just blah blah blah white noise", 4) Burke takes a deep breath & looks a tad confused/constipated as he realises the identity of the killer & reveals same [shades of Moider She Wrote here - "Sheriff/Amos, I couldn't help but notice the victims head was in the freezer unit and someone had shoved a spear up his ass, which made me believe HE-COULD-HAVE-BEEN-MOIDERED...", "Gee Mrs. F. - I never know how you reach these conclusions..."]. NEXT......
After that snake joke and that comment about Motive, I knew it was the judge. I figure he felt that the lawyer was a snake and you didn't have to have the usual motive to kill him. And then Amos never really suspected him, you knew he had to be the obvious one.
So the guy who got hit by the ambulance didn't have time to move away? Although the ambulance clearly had time to hit the brakes but choose to smash him.

Sometimes the murderer is such a dirt bag like this episode I don't want them punished too severely--in fact I thought Vinny should be the one punished big time
The sunflower painting by Monet in his office? Hilarious that a millionaire had to have a copy?Any decorator would suggest an original for a few hundred would be way more tasteful.
One thing about the hit and run… There was plenty of time to jump out of the way of the on coming vehicle… any intelligent person would have understood that.
This episode is very amusing. The cast is excellent. Enjoy!
This is so fun and cheesy and a top notch Burke's Law.

Did they change their names? Or did they marry the same guy?
@@mariaschmidt7637 She means that are their names in Sweet Valley high Elizabeth and Jessica.
Great show, I love the fine humor and a plethora of stars they presented... Love it
Illegal to park...but legal to be transported on the back of a vehicle with no way of being secured lol I love this show
I got a kick out of that part. 😆
Love this show❤Great cast!❤❤❤❤❤
Never noticed before how many times Peter stands around with his mouth open.
My favorite episode of season 1.
My favorite episode of the 2nd season is the Hollywood Head-shrinker
RIP, Sherman Hemsley.
HE WAS AN ORIGINAL.

Linda Purl was in Andy Griffith lawyer show as his daughter and had her own show 'Robin's Nest'.

Beautiful Kristian Alfonso !!!
Gorgeous until now.
*"Did we argue? You're talking about two lawyers"* LOL.
Poor Amos's house.
Sherman Hemsley, Linda Purl and Efrem Zimbalist Jr :D
Peter Barton's voice is so gently touchy.
thank you for episodes great show
brilliant, i love it
i love this show good shows talent fun watch. I like Gene Barry and P Barton.
Anyone remember David Rasche's iconic catch phrase in "Hammer", "Trust me. I know what I'm doing"?
Of course. Sledge rocks!!
" Joey" of "full house" !!! And Linda Purl !!! 😁
SPOILERS!
Well, at least the Judge accepted defeat/ being caught well, giving a pretty epic confession speech and going out with one last joke.
I was certain it was George J. at the beginning however I guessed the motive wrong...I was leaning towards the crooked judge and blackmail LOL

WoW!! Thanks for these :)
Uncle Joey! The Jeffersons!!! Comedians in drama...who knew???
Still comedy...
Joey became the murder victim and George Jefferson himself became the villain!
Always liked Dom Deluise. Thanks for the posting. Good on ya mate.
I was always partial to his son David Deluise. I grew up watching Wizards of Waverly Place.
E. Zimbalist Jr. The FBI and 77 Sunset Strip. Daughter is Stephanie Zimbalist.
His father was a renowned classical violinist.
Oh! George Jefferson is in this episode.
Hey, I quite liked the judge's lawyer jokes.
21:16 they used the same trick twins in court in BONANZA and THE DEFENDER [ the pilot for the Defenders ]
Yep. Hollywood uses the same repetitive formulas over & over. Just changes scenery.
Angus is the king of puns if you ask me. 😏😏😏
Too fun. This is too fun🤗🤗🤗
E Zimbilist Jr had such great hair!!
18:31 That's the same pool that was used in a prior episode. Good grief, there've been only 8 before!

Why spoil it for those who have not watched it all yet?!
Funny episode. The clowns have got to go!
Why do some of the voices sound slightly sped up like to get around some copywrite issues? Just recently went through the series on YT.
Amos is a great person and friend for doing vinie this favor
uncle joey from full house & George Jefferson from the Jefferson
Every episode full of stars
Not Jefferson!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

the rolls as a character is cool
3:09 - 3:19 Don't look here. It is gruesome.
In most of the episodes, that aspect deleted.

Because the writing isn't as good as it used to be.

Oh wow
Sherman Helmsley is such a hammy hack😆 he's too much.
Good 💕
George Jefferson
It always amazes me that you need a law education to do this kind of thing in a law court. Really? You need education for that?
Silly

He was my suspect too. He came up too often in the scenes.

?
@@Mr2Badboybrown I was wondering the same thing.
Lots of skimpily clad young women usually being partnered up with men 2x to 5x their age 🤢...yeah, the "feminazis" own this series. 🙄
I can't stand those obscene swim suits women wear now. I've heard girls' high school swim teams wear them. I hope that's wrong.
