    Adding my thanks for uploading this series! Shout out to the persons responsible for the wardrobe - the elegance of the costumes sets off the humor by contrast. Bertie is especially impeccable, but of course he would be, because Jeeves is responsible for his appearance.

    As the church and estate are defiled with filth, and the congregation is left circling around the graveyard, Jeeves and Wooster run off to freedom together. Honestly, this was the perfect ending.

      Later Ginger had a sex change and became the second shortest-serving British Prime minister. The holder of that record died in office while Ginger, now known as Liz Truss resigned before Conservatives were able to throw him out the windows of Parliament into the Themes.

    Too wonderful. I'm crying with laughter and delight. How wonderful to see the halls and rooms of Downton Abbey recast in this anti-Downton way. As Downton is all serious this is pure silly delight; both are wonderful.

      I needed an antidote to Downton Abbey's drama and knew nothing of Fry and Laurie. Then in my quest, stumbled upon this series. What a treasure; these actors, these stories, all so perfectly antidotal. I also listen to the Wodehouse audiobooks. Love them

    I think Francesca Folan who plays Florence is one of the best actors in this show after Laurie & Fry. She made a great Madeleine Bassett in Series 1, and a superb Lady Florence later!

    Alas... The Last of Jeeves and Wooster. This series only ran for 4 seasons. But fear not... The two went their ways often to entangle again in different circumstances. And contrary to many silly comments - the two actors are both on the level of "Genius" with most any and every level of evaluation.

    Thank you so much for making this enjoyable series available. Great way to lighten the day, and have some laughs. Amazing talent in this series, and the settings are always so enjoyable. The only thing I could wish for is that Jeeves could come breezing through with refreshments, clean laundry and the like. Ha ha.

    So I finished watching this, expecting to click right into Season 5. But imagine my dismay - this is the end! Waaahhh! :( I love how the writers connected several short stories into each episode, weaving them together almost seamlessly. The acting/characters are amazing - caricatures without being too ridiculous, and absolutely hilarious! Guess now I have to go find some Wodehouse to read .... Thanks so much for sharing these - they've been weeks of GREAT entertainment!

    I loved the P.G. Wodehouse stories and this BBC series is perfect, in my opinion! Laurie and Fry are made for each other in the world of British period comedy.

    The closing scene is marvelous. Something about men running in tailcoats is hilarious. Jeeves runs in a dignified manner. Aunt Agatha slugs the minister and probably blames him for being in the way. Spode is threatening up to the final shot.

      Phoebe Johnson not a nickname but an abbreviation of Reginald in other words reggie is short for Reginald,a nickname is something that is given to someone by there friends like when Bertie calls. Darcy cheesewrite ‘Stilton ‘ as in Stilton cheese,or Harold winship who’s Florence’s fiancés is called ‘ginger ‘by Bertie .ginger and Stilton are nicknames,reggie is just short for Reginald so not a nickname

      Read them. The TV version is as perfect as a TV version could be, but the books have the added entertainment of the narrator's humour which is exquisite.

    I would really like to know how Jeeves managed to borrow a kangaroo. Now I suppose it’s likely that during that time they were in the zoo but he probably has some kind of contact. He has more contacts than anyone in Britain!!!

    Anyone else have the feeling they were tipping the hat to Benny Hill in the chase scene during the credits? Hill died in 1992, and this aired in 1993.

    Elizabeth Morton is the best Madeline by far. Finished all 4 seasons of this absolute gem, time to start over from the beginning again....what ho!!

    Wastewater splashed onto Jeeves in the chapel. During the chase, he is immaculate and fleeing with an air of dignity. Truly a gentleman's gentleman.

    The funniest episode was when they dressed up in drag! I screamed with laughter at Wooster as the maid! It was too funny! Only some of us would understand.

    Damn, that Fred Evans as Brinkley is homely. It's like they based the Spitting Image puppets on him. He's like a living caricature.
