It's not just that. Moving your stockpile means that you can wall off your keep separately from your castle with additional towers. Keep truly becomes a keep instead of kind of a meeting place
Your my favorite stronghold crusader youtube you always come up with great strategies I love to see you talk about stronghold legends and the newest stronghold warlords?
As for Woodcutters its actually better to place them close to trees sure if you can also place you stockpile close by great but it only lasts until the are trees nearby then its best to relocate the wood huts
You know if you pause the game, disable the building (lets say Iron Mine), enable the building and unpause the game, it will send a second batch of workers that will actually move the resources from the source building to stockpile? And it will drain citizens amount as well so I know its probably an exploit but it has some sort of balance in it :p
In a remastered, they should allow to place stockpile at the beginning of the game and make stockpile, granary and armoury a single building with infinite space
Well, Infinite stockpile like they did in Stronghold 2 Crusader has its own disadvantages, you cant really see how much you have by just glancing over, Like in SH-C-1 when i see too much wheat/flour i know to add more buildings
i dont see that hapening sadly but alowing the stockpile placement, yes. the reson being, all the future games always have a stockpile, granary, and armory, never all 3 at one bulding. most SH games have a stockpile/granary/armory max storage capacity limit, but some dont. having all 3 at one spot sounds like it would be the best for productivity and Defence on the surface but it would make economy placement difficult becaus you would have to sacrifice place to choose wich buldings are closest, were as in SH Crusader, you can have a stockpile in the middle, backerys to one side, a granary line row past that and on the other side blacksmiths, and the armory line past that, minimiseing travle time with all 3 storage types. i get what you mean tho, so if they made dobble decker 2 story tall buldings (bakery/Wepon crafter) then that could work with an all 3 storage in a single bulding. maby someone could make a mod like that... love you fellow Stronghold Ladys and Lords!
@@malianeycoen6123 I didn't mean a single building that works as stockpile, granary and armoury. What I was saying was something like SH2, where you have a single granary and a single armoury, and maybe add a single stockpile
just better to be a default selected building to be placed before anything else within castle radius, so you won't lose any wood / other resources at start.
Can anyone who know how to mod games ad more units ? For example arabian light cavalery with a spear similar to stronghold 2. Then maybe crossbowman with heavy armor slow but more durable. Light European cavalry that need spear and horse maybe. And I would also loved mosque buildings for arabian lords. Wooden palisade from stronghold 1. I would even pay money for something like this
2:14 You don't even need that big of an economy in single player when completing the crusader trails. Minmaxing only matters for the few people who try hard on multiplayer.
This can be done to simplify economy micro, you can basically just create bread, set rations to +8, and then don't worry about any other resource and just buy it from the marketplace.

@Jefflenious I'm just curious. You did so many guides but... Amm, I really didn't see you using stances your troops have. Is it bugged or something? In my version of a game it works pretty well. All your units are on "Stand ground" by default. You can select "Defensive" so they will attack anyone close enough and get back to their position after. Or "Aggressive" so they start chasing anyone on their sight range. It's much usefull when you place your troops on evemy lord tower so they start aiming for him and not just staying idle or to defend any ground with melee units
Yep. That's why your best option at the start is to pause the game, put it on slowest speed, quickly unpause then delete the first stockpile, this way you'll only lose a few units of wood.
Yeah, since bakers automatically go to the stockpile like 2 meters away to pick up flour again, unlike other producers(cough cough Fletcher's workshops cough cough)lol
I don't know if it is known. I find it myself by accident. If you have 3 stockpiles and you delete the middle one, you have now 2 separate stockpiles. You can add new stockpile in any direction and delete the old one as you go. This way you do not have to lose any starting ressources, you can "move" stockpile later and you do not have to choose between places. The only limit is the number of empty stockpile, granary and armory.
@@mathieugiroux9346 Well its not a great idea as AI will still go for the old one first, its a great tip, but its more usefull for keeping paths between buildings as id doesnt improve efficiency
