Hey doug... i'm in the process of buying my first bmx and i have found the wip reason 2020 matt lilac at a decent price (hint: less than 300 😁)
as it is second hand... I have made sure that it is in good shape and as a matter of fact it has barely been used. The only problem is that i cant seem to find any reviews on the 2020 version 😢 only this video (which btw congrats is very well made) which covers the 2021 model. So my main question is: does the 2020 version have exactly the same specs as the 2021? (this would allow me to follow this video as a guide to the bike) If not... is there any way for you to touch on the topic?
p.s. at this point i also want to ask... do you recommend me the bike? considering that i am somewhere in between 5'11 and 6ft and the bike is practically new and costs me around 250... dw i made sure that it isn't a scam... just need to decide auick otherwise ill loose the opportunity. (no pressure 😂)

That seems like a good deal! Especially if it’s like new condition. The 2020 model is very similar to the other models. The biggest changes are just the colors so what I say in each review will apply to the 2020 version

a last question thou…even though at this point price is what matters most… (i’m basically buying it new for 250) do you think that for my height 5’11, beginner, and for my use, street, it’s a good option? as in… would u recommend it for me?
Btw yes! i can’t believe how good of a condition it is.. of course i still have to see it in person, but from the pictures it actually looks like it’s only been used about 10 times…
I have to relearn everything all over again! I just got both knees and my right wrist injured trying to wheelie! I put the laid back seatpost on it for comfort, but it makes my bike loop out way too easily! This just happened an hour ago. Being 50 sucks for this type of stuff!
Hey doug, im looking for a bmx bike that can handle my weight (im 5 ft 7 and 227 pounds) but also under $350 (tight on budget rn) I found a stay strong optimum str (not the freecoaster version) idk if it can handle my weight because I wanna do tricks like barspins, 180's etc... but if theres other bikes out there that are durable at a cheaper price or the same price, id be happy to know about it.
