Thanks for the review. The randomness and possibility that you'll have nothing to do in most turns were obvious the moment you started explaining the rules. I would house rule that you draw 4 cards and use the three of them and see if that makes things better.
My copy will be here end of May. I hope there's a variant that makes the battle system better, because that's a core feature of the Gamebook! Before you talked about possibly trading action cards for focus, that's exactly what I was thinking. I'll have to test it out and see if the battle system can be fixed with house rules. Thanks for the review, there's very little content on this game and I was hoping it would be awesome!
