Heart of Ice is my favorite gamebook of all time. Glad to see it being reviewed here!

Thanks for the review. I took your advice and bought "Heart of Ice". It a lot of fun. My teenage daughters even want to try it. Thanks again. Keep up the great work.

Excellent analysis! I bought Heart of Ice after watching this review…. Too bad I didn’t know they were about to launch a deluxe version on Gamefound.
Have you ever considered doing a TOP 10 Gamebooks list? It would be interesting to group your recommendations for this genre.

Thank you for sharing. I didn't know those. I went away from gamebooks twenty years ago and has rediscovered them in the last few years. ^^

Thank you! I just discovered this genre and have been having fun with it. Choose your own adventure was my first experience as a kid so I’m excited they make these for us adults! The solo RPG makes it more engaging and challenging

The Way you describe the "Skills System" seems ALOT like Arabian Nights and Agents of Smersh! :) very Cool! Thanks for sharing and making this video! I really enjoy your game book discussions!

Completely agree. Heart of Ice is a masterpiece among gamebooks. It's my favourite diceless gamebook and I usually don't care about SciFi.

Have you also tried the Fabled Lands series, of the same author? What do you think about it, as it is very non-linear but has no real endpoint.

Psychology should have more of a role in gamebooks. I love them but many have characters that are just tropes and stiff instead of characters with backgrounds.

Marco... I LOVE this idea... I love the creativity. MORE books and RPG's like that... One of the things I love about your channel is that you find so many "diamonds in the rough"... keep searching... thank you!
