Everyone talks about bleaching hair using a POWDER lightener. I'm using a CREAM lightener. After looking at the instructions for Olaplex, they really only give the amounts for powder lightener. How do I convert for cream lightener? I ended up using 1/16 oz olaplex per 2 ounces of cream lightener b/c that's the only proportion that wasn't for powder. Should I be using more? Does this mean that the Olaplex didn't mitigate the damage if I didn't use enough? I'm needing to re-bleach some sections due to a super patchy at-home bleach job. Had to try and figure out timing since I'm not a hairdresser and am guessing and some sections needed to be left longer so they are still darker than I'd like. I'm bleaching permanent BLUE color out of a natural level 7/8 in order to change the color all around to a blend of pinks/purples/blue with dark purple roots.
He made an error in video. Olaplex 1 is added to bleach to stop damage. It can also be used in tint color if you do not bleach. Number 2 is used after tint is removed. Its a treatment. Number 3 is a diluted version of 2. Both 1 and 2 can still be used as a stand alone treatment for damaged hair 😊
Confusing on directions: for the 1st step, using Olaplex, the video shows it is Olaplex No 1 and on the screen in writing it listed as Olaplex No 2
The first step is no 1 they made a mistake in editing. No1 is that yellow color no 2 looks like conditioner
Yes it is confusing, he should correct this in the video
what toner did u use? It's beautiful, love the color
When did you shampoo?
Would it be better for more damaged hair to add more olaplex?
I love guy tang
thanks u explained very well but how about dark hair colour like yours
Beautiful, result well done !!

What products and specifics are in this video? If you don't mind me asking!
So we don't shampoo after coloring?
I'd like to know this as well. When do we shampoo?

I was wondering. The bottle says n1 lol 😂
Can you put olaplex in the color or only in the beach?
