Im stylist i do stand alone treatments all the time on my mom and myself..it works very well..i dont work in salon anymore so ive never used it in bleach
Hey gurl, I know you commented years ago. But i need your advice, my cousin (barber) bleached my hair a few days ago. can i use no1 and 2 after bleaching? Or just no2? And my hair is pretty orange, should i use olaplex with toner? Or does it not matter if i tone it after using olaplex? Thank youu ❤
The company puts that on the box for a reason. It's not stylists being haters. Stylists have to go through training to learn about the entire system and chemistry behind it to properly service the clients. There's another video where someone used excessive amounts of olaplex and it left her hair with buildup. Probably because she wasn't educated on the product
I've been so depressed since I got my waist long hair botched. my hair has not been the same since. its been full of splitends and breakage. I hate it so much. to top it off the salon that did out blew me off. I really hope olaplex can help.
+Vanessa Nessa oh no that so horrible!! So Olaplex is not gonna fix the split ends because the hair is already damaged so you still need to trim it off. What it does is prevent your hair from more split ends and make it much stronger. I'll repeat this soon myself as I recently bleached my hair again 😅 hope that helps xxx
TheMotherConfesser it’s not a lightening treatment either. Ola pled is to fix the “holes” the chemicals have have made by making bonds to replace the old ones
there's another product called aphogee and they also have a 2 step. if you could do a comparison that would be great. but like if your hair is still damamged
Camille Kiffin they are different treatments. Olaplex mends the bonds in your hair and aphogee is a protein treatment, so you can use both, at least a week apart.
Some are fake....I've heard many accounts. It must have the seal on it. Be a certain consistency. You can order from the Olaplex website or take your chances on Amazon.
Some are so you are taking a chance. I'd personally go with ebay over Amazon. Sellers on ebay tend to actually care about their ratings and reputations.
Can you post a link to where you purchased olaplex 1 & 2 please? I’m having a hard time finding it! I got an inch wide BALD SPOT when I went to do my roots which I’ve been doing the same way since I was about 13 (1st bald spot at least 🤮)! So your help would be maaaaaaasssssivly more help than you know 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hi I did the standalone treatment today it's good, but for my short hair 15 ml no1 and 90ml no2 was way to much such a waist. I will treat in 2 weeks again but just half so 7.5ml no1 and 45 ml water
I think you took a straightener or a flat iron to emphasize the silkiness and slickness of your hair I would like to see without any heat styling to see the difference on a Before & After
Why did you rinse instead of shampoo and condition after? It is more beneficial if you rinse, shampoo, then condition with a very moisturizing conditioner.
+Dan Tran Hi, there are 2 different ways to do this. You can use No 1&2 as a standalone treatment without colour/bleach (usually in the salon). The other option is to mix it with colour/bleach. No 3 is a take home treatment.
Yes.I did look at other youtube and saw that you can use it as a standalone. Great video!! thanks for the tip. I use No. 3 once a week. I also use 1 in my bleach to help not damaged my hair.
i wish i saw this video before i dyed my hair back to brown. the blonde was too much of an upkeep and my hairstylist friend made a comment that it wasnt tones. my hair couldnt grasp the toner. so brown hair again lol
Yep I know, it's really hard to maintain when you're lazy and that's why I did ombre lol but now it often grows out black, then I have half of it a warmer brown and I don't want to do ombre every time! I find Wella T14 or T18 also only works when your hair is lighter but it should help cancelling the orange as well. Gonna try this plus use Dialight again. Just one color next time for me xx
@@5footCloset t14 and t18 are both level 10 toners, so yes, they will only work when your hair is very light, like a level 10 blonde light. Stronger toners that will tone darker levels are also not available to the public (the best way to get stronger toners, and the kit you used in this video is to just have a friend who has a Cosmo license get it from the store, or let you use their account, as most stores aren't very strict, and once an account is set up just ask for a phone number. But in stores for professionals only this traveling stylist starters pack is only $50 USD, and all olaplex products available to the public {no's 3-7} are %50 off retail pricing)
That's because it can increase your processing time, so if you have to use a lot of Olaplex No 1, you might need to up your developer strength to 40 vol, rather than 30, etc. If you don't want it to interfere, only use a tiny amount. You can do a full No 1 and 2 treatment post bleach and tone too, plus weekly for a while to repair.
Hi! Just a question towards the end! I heard you mention you rinsed out the #1 and #2 after the entire treatment was completed. Did you rinse with water in the shower or did you shampoo and condition out the treatment?!😍😍😍
Thanks for this video. Just bought my Kit. My hair are sooooooooooo damaged and burn. Due to ombré that gone really wrong. Hope that would help me to find out my old strengh and long hair .. Thanks 😚
I'm confused too. I thought #1 was to be either mixed into the hair dye or bleach, or used after bleaching, and #2 should be used after shampoo. I don't think she knows what she's doing.
