Because the kit says that the bonus multiplier is ATK * current bond of life, which means it's just a direct addition to her ATK multiplier for example at talent level 10 her N1 is 93.15% and if her current bond of life is 80% Then it's just a basic 93.15 + 80 = 173.15% damage multiplier It's based on my understanding, can you please enlighten me.

She doesn’t have to play Circle Impact and frees up Bennett for another abyss team. Characters that don’t want Bennett at this point are more valuable than those who do to maximize their damage.
@@PeskyPomPom She can be played With chevreuse for 40%, noblesse for another 20% and the pyro res add her 25% additionnal atk%. Also her signature set gives her 18% so she easily reach 3k with any 5* weapon
I really like the fact that she doesn’t pair with Furina when playing her. It suits her character considering how she would talk to and interact with Furina during the Archon quest.
Every damn team works with Benny bouken da! Characters that need Benny can gtfo becuase I don't like him, he isn't hot enough and besides, I like women waifus. On a more serious note I don't find him much fun to play except for playing characters like Yoimiya, as she can stand inside rather easily with a shielder etc. Yoimiya, Yelan/XQ, Benny, Best shielder you have. The only team I enjoy with Bennyboy. Hate to admit it but I do use him in Abyss :(
Yea thats kinda the problem since someone like Hu Tao don't need to run Bennet since so much of her damage is built in. But I understand Arlecchino can be a lot better in aoe situations.

I‘m fairly certain that she‘s meant to be played in a variety of ways, as she seems to be basically open to every possible playstyle in terms of reactions (Vape,Melt,Mono Pyro, Hypercarry, Burgeon, Burn even (?) with a new set…). She‘s a good generalist, as she isn‘t tied to any one particular playstyle, and supposed to make the meta diverge from Furina or at least offer an alternative to Furina. Yet I am not convinced that this is what is going to happen from that first glance at her kit. Furina‘s buffing capability is massive, easily the highest for any one single unit, and nothing so far stops her from still applying her buff to Arlecchino even if she can‘t be healed via external sources. Part of the Furina progression was figuring out smart ways to stack her Fanfare incredibly fast and at C2 (popular constellation) this is further trivialized. While she clearly isn‘t supposed to be another Furina extension I‘m somewhat afraid that Furina‘s a little too powerful to get her out of the meta. We‘ve seen similiar situations in the past, let me remind you first of Yelan that just ended up teamed together with her biggest competitor Xingqui. Secondly, and more case-specific, neither Neuvilette nor Hutao should, given their kit description, have great synergy with Furina but practically they still end up doing their best (only) with her. In order to min-max DPS parts of kits are ignored and it‘s common fashion to consider the intricacies of these kits secondarily, after ensuring the best performance of the highest damage contributor, which often ends up being Furina.
Wdym Rizzvillette shouldn’t go with Furizz? 😭 if you mean when you don’t have c1 then sure, but otherwise they are made for each other. Arlerizzo will be in my second abyss team 100%, just gotta figure out who I want to team with her :3.

Tbh I think you can still force furina with xianyun and yelan. Also I’m guessing the no healing passive is so she doesn’t get messed up by bennet/chev healing away her bond of life reducing her damage

Yeah. Like they use hu tao+furina+xianyun which is anti synergy because of hu tao not having 33%pyro damage of being below 50% hp but still worth. Like same happen here, she is not charging funfare stacks but the other 3 character are charging. U gain less bonus damage, but still a lot of bonus damage for a hypercarry.

Zhongli is an exception because he provides the best shield in the game, can run tenacity providing 20% atk buff, shred by 15%, and give up to 35% elemental damage with 4PC Archaic Petra. Add Kazuha and Bennet into the mix you’ve got yourself a busted unga bunga NA spammer with a relatively challenging rotation but nothing too crazy if you have skill.
Exactly my thoughts. I think for the most part its because arlecchino as for now doesnt have any form of interruption resistance, but she has a passive where she converts her atk stat into elemental and physical resistance, and bennett is the best atk buffer + pyro resonance... And also chevreuse as her possible support doesnt want any other elements other than pyro and electro. But yun jin is a pretty damn strong buffer for normal attackers, especially when paired with zhongli for the geo resonance which gives you extra damage + shield strength. Zhongli himself is already the best shielder in the game, this + geo resonance helps compensate for arlecchino's fragility, and arlecchino herself cant receive healing from bennett anyway. Yunjin also doesnt force arlecchino into playing circle impact. But i guess we will see when she got released.
While Yunjin helps her, it is not that significant especially compared to Bennett, Kazuha or Chev. Yunjin have no place in Chev team and with Bennett and Kazuha you can only slot one more which usually is a slot for sub DPS mainly Yelan.
@@karashuun1083 i have tested yunjin (at c6) using ayato/yoimiya as the on field carries. Her buff is competitive with my bennett, lv13 burst with skyward blade. Also, i already mentioned about chevy not working with other elements aside from pyro and electro. That being said, i feel like her kit, as for now, still has some holes that prevent her from having 100% synergy with popular support. She cant receive bennetts healing, she also cant take advantage from chevy's c6, and in furina teams, she doesnt seem to care about furinas fanfare stack because she just refuses to be healed, gaining stack at furinas c0 might be slower which means potential worse uptime when the stack is at its peak. Her kit might change since its still early in the beta, or probably mihoyo will sell another character that is the perfect match to support arlecchino later. (And God forbid this new character is another 4 star support that requires c6, i cant man)

It's more or less just TGS's thing to calculate and balance everything around Bennett's burst and Kazuha's swirling, even if in reality you yourself wouldn't necessarily gain that much from them, so I wouldn't worry too much about those two. He used to do things more in a vacuum without any hypothetical buffs or "rotations" from unrelated characters, which is a shame, because defaulting to a specific, non-neutral playstyle not only makes these calculations flawed, but also gives people a false impression that some unrelated units are more vital to all other characters than they actually are.
It's a good thing she doesn't work so well with Furina, mihoyo is throwing it in the face of the fandom that these two shouldn't be together (Yes, there were people who shipped these two 💀💀💀💀)

It's gonna be overvape team similar to so-called Raiden national. Also there is Hutao/Xingqiu/Fischl/Sucrose team that works really well. Just replace Hutao with Arlecchino.
archaic zhongli has been slept on for 4 years lol, i use it in my yelan hypercarry team with furina and jean where no one benefits from totm buffs or marginally stronger shields
@@ImagineCats9339I guess it's not the duration problem. Crystallize shield and zhongli shield takes dmg simultanuously if both of them are exist. If the crystalize break, the buffs are gone. Also the mechanism where zhongli should be the one taking the crystalize kinda make it a gambling in some scenario. Would be MUCH BETTER if anyone can take it and activate the effect, instead of "holder take crystalize then team get dmg bonus" can adjust it to "holder proc crystalize then team get dmg bonus if pick up the shard". Oh well.
@@ByonLe7 it's good that you mentioned the crystallize shield , because this is another misconception that many people have , No , the buff won't disappear when the crystallize shield is destroyed , it will last for the whole 10 sec duration doesn't matter what , and you can test it for yourself Secondly , I don't think Zhongli having to pick up the shard is as difficult like you make it sound to be, I've been using the set on him for months now , and it just became a second nature to pick up the shard lol , it takes about the same time for Kazuha to jump and plunge, you gonna get used to it
I understand why its done but when all the suggested teams rely on bennet / kazuha , i just stop the video. Any character will do well when you give it those crutches... I dont care about optimal teams in the whole meta. If thats what i wanted, i'd just go national team and hyperbloom. I want to know about teams where the new character shines. What new teams does she allow? Where in the meta is she better than the alternatives?
I wish her playstyle is using her claw almost like razor/cyno seeing her hand is not a black gloves and i wish she has some vampire mix with berserk type skill which when activate it drains hp overtimes but do lifesteal. But again its just making another furina team so thats why hoyo turn her kit this way
All the TC work I've seen done for Arlecchino so far has used Arle/Bennett/Yelan/Kazuha for the VV vape setup. Why not Xingqiu? She could really use the defensive utility, no?
@@loreyxillumina Arle can't be healed by anyone but herself so that's a non-issue. They won't impede her bond of life, but they can still provide their atk buff and dmg reduction.
Both Arlecc skill and burst are 15s cd, running Yelan would give her team 15-16s rotation. Xingqiu will extend the rotation to 21-22s which is pretty huge dps loss.
Right now it seems to me like we just don't have enough information to make conclusive verdicts on her strength or teams. I think we need to wait longer for more leaks to get a better idea of everything she can do
You have NO idea how happy I am to hear someone mention Hoyo's absolute obsession with Furina in every team. Nearly every character in the game "benefits" from her being on their team. I thought I was losing my mind or something, because nobody else really talks about how wild it is that almost EVERYYYYYY team comp needs her. For the record: I haven't pulled her at this point (not for a lack of trying). All I know is that people obsess over Furina support based teams.

with how much the enemy hits u nowadays, it will be very annoying if she doesnt get compensated good for the lack of healing. Like now mobs r hitting u harder and harder so if she doesnt get a positive heal by herself or some defensive ability then it will be very annoying, as how furina teams sometimes feel when u dont have any defensive option in team. Its like one hit and u r gone, and let me tell u, its very very annoying that we/i have to retart the abyss floor and specially if i have to redo phase 1
That's where her dmg res come into play you know... Also if you gets overwhelmed by enemies just ruin that rotation, press E to heal then try another rotation.... Or you could just run a Zhongli shield with Archaic Petra set which is really good on her lol. You guys always want DPS check but comfort survivability also counts.

The not healing part is absolutely fine, because healing is mostly useless. What fucks up the healing part is Furina, because she won't synergize that well with her. Although, it might still be possible depending on how much HP is affected? I still need to see that, tho.
Being tied to Bennett is actually very dangerous for Arlecchino. Sure, she definitely needs that large atk buff to get big damage, but the issue is Bennett wont sustain her and he is circle impact with a dps who dashes, basically like a Rosaria or Lynette, which will move her out of the zone of Bennett's area. Not to mention that without Bennett's healing and relying on her healing alone, she is basically in a glass cannon team where she doesnt have HP like Hu Tao and getting melted or vaped would iust kill her. Most Arlecchino can heal is 80% since 80% is the most bond of life she can have. Actually 95% if stage 3 blood debt is recovered and followed by her burst. Arlecchino is like a polar opposite of Dehya. Dehya is fully tank and lacks damage. Arlecchino is pretty much a glass cannon. Lacks the HP build of Hu tao and dehya and cant heal from anywhere else, nor has the utility Hu Tao has wirh blood blossom giving crit rate. Arlecchino would be a poor matchup against rifthounds, fatui operatives, hydro tulpa, consecrated beasts oh boy, Liam, Rocky, and elemental reaction enemy lineups. Like Wanderer, she could get stunned by hilichurl arrows, yet she cant recover it without erasing pyro infusion, makes her needing Xingqiu. She needs Xingqiu more than Bennett. The cons outweigh the one pro Bennett will give her.

Nah. It'll be fine. People said the same thing about Lyney and surprise its not an issue for casual who plays Lyney-Bennett-Kazuha-Zhongli. People will just play Arlecchino in that and she will do more damage than Lyney as without a 3rd Pyro his damages is below hers. Hardcore of course won't have an issue pushing retry button.
If Furina is C2+, maxing the stacks isn’t really hard, and I doubt she is gonna be as fragile as many ppl make her out to be despite she can’t be healed, since her defense isn’t as low as Lyney or Ganyu (similar values to Alhaitham). If fragility is the concern when pairing her with Furina healer core, then putting her with Bennett and Kazuha doesn’t solve this issue too (as well as the lack of interruption resistance), since she can’t be healed anyway. Don’t be that quick to dismiss Furina Jean core.
No, he is right. She can only heal herself and Furina sets her to perma 50% HP. You will be playing shieldless/healerless Attack scaler at 50% hp. And not getting Attack buffs means that the team dps is pretty low too, she doesn't have anything in her kit that gives attack.
I don't really like playing units that make me feel like I'm on the brink of death at any given moment so I'm kinda disappointed by this leaked kit. I know she'll be amazing, but she's just not my style sadly. I prefer comfy units. Bummer... 💔

2:06 I doubt it's BoL * 0.945 and instead it's simply -5.5% 70 + 15 = 85 BoL in the base kit 85 - 30 = 55 55/5.5 = exactly 10 hits It would just make more sense
If it was like this then it wouldn't say "of her max hp" tho... Also fontaine craftables already do the number as an hp value so like 25% of 20000 gives 5000 bond of life. So for her the bond of life pool should be 85% of 20000 so 17000 and from that it takes 5,5% from once and then 5,5% from whats left the next time and so on until its empty. this makes way more sense since she is meant to be a normal attack carry and 10 hits is less than 2 NA combos with her but the 19 is 3 full NA combos.
im excited for 4.6 and as far as arlecchino goes i think the fact she doesn't syngergize well with current supports means that eventually hopefully we get new supports it gets old using the same units for every team i fully welcome new ones.
I think Arlecchino’s fragility kind of ties in with how her buff uptime works. Since her buff is tied to bond amount instead of timer, you can freely dodge without losing DPR. Compare that to characters like Yoimiya, Hu Tao, Wanderer where if you must dodge in their enhanced state, you’ll lose potential enhanced attacks. But if she’s hard locked to Bennett, this doesn’t matter… Guess everyone is looking to escape Bennett’s circle
I think the problem is that she can’t be healed, in abyss where some bosses can one shot you so she will need a shielder, or you need to be dodging all the time

I just clocked, she gains 40% pyro dmg bonus from her bond of life, adding the new artifact for her, she has 94% dmg bonus without a pyro dmg bonus goblet. An ATK goblet on her is not a terrible idea tbh, even without Furina.
Even though she isn't meant to be with Furina I don't like playing circle impact with Bennett. Ill probably run Arlecchino (C6 R1) with Furina, Kazuha, and Zhongli. Doesn't matter if she doesn't get full fan stacks and no healing (from C6 Zhongli shield or Singer of Many Waters) if the enemies are already dead and having Zhongli shield to protect against interruption and lethal damage is perfect as well. On top of that, having C3 Furina will help seeing as her stacks will start at a higher amount and will increase faster even though not by much due to Arlecchino's healing restrictions. I do wonder if the faster fan stacks generation and starting with 150 from Furina's C1 tops Bennett or not but I guess it doesn't matter at the end of the day. Id rather have less damage but everything still dies than to have more damage but need to stay in a circle to do it : p I feel like none of this matters because of C6 R1+ on all in the party except Furina (C3 R1) but idk. Any thoughts everyone?? Edited Ran some tests and Bennet beats out Furina at 150 initial ff stacks by about 22% damage increase (both at Talent lvl 13). However, that is still not enough to convince me to stay in a circle. That and the fact that the Solan members put out insane dps at Talent lvl 10 and because Alechinno is going to be dashing with her skill + burst and wants to move around a lot.
Welp Pyro has the most units powercreeping themselves. No new specialized supports since the beginning. Just DPS. The only reason Xiangling still maintains her spot is because she is the only one with off-field presence.
I'm not disappointed that she doesn't wanna play nice with Furina, but I hope she won't feel awkward to play without a specific support. I really can't stop when they sell characters that have issues then sell the solution through another character later. I'll wait for more info but if I don't like how she plays then it's back to waiting for Alhaitham rerun.
It seems she will have a specific support. She doesn't synergies with Furina,Bennett, Xingqiu,Kuki and Xianyun. (Will update the list if I remember more supports) Her only viable team is overload with Chevruse, Fishcl and Kujou Sara.
@@loreyxillumina ok i saw your comments under what feels like every comment now so let me answer it here: bennett does indeed synergise very well with arle bc his atk buff - and no, bennett does not heal off her bond of life. preventing that is the purpose of her exploration passive. she cannot get healed from other sources than her skill. Xingqiu... i don't even understand how you came to that conclusion. even if other healing sources could lower her bond of life, xingqiu would still work fantastically because 1. his heals are very minor, 2. his heals come at the end of the rotation where you don't care about bond of life anymore as you reset anyways. and his defensive utility could be so good on arle and *could* single-handendly fix her survivability issues. i am kinda disappointed that TGS didn't even mention that. oh, and of course all of this on top of his core identity of insane elemental application and good off-field damage. as for kuki, well the healing thing is the same as above but she doesn't provide anything else so she isn't even considered in the first place. and finally as for xianyun: the healing thing again as above, but she also gives really nice buffs in the form of vv and also enabling plunge playstyle (if you really want that that is)

Hey, little question. Dont you think that with all the dmg bonus she has between her kit, her set, goblet and weapon (a total of 172%) might be more worth to replace Kazuha with Sucrose? I think it might be worth more having 172% dmg bonus and 200 EM than only 205% dmg bonus
Arlecchino seems very complicated and technical to play, and might be more restricted in team comps, while Neuvillette is an extremely simply character yet amazingly powerful with very flexible team comps. Idk who to get 😭😭😭

Why wouldn’t she work with Furina? She buffs her and allows her to vaporize, while dealing much off field damage She takes away up to 50% HP to every party member. Because Arlecchino will be around 50-70% HP usually, we’ll only count the other three party members 50% * 3 = 150 fanfare 150 * 2 (if you bring a healer, like Xianyun to shred resistances) = 300 fanfare
We have to know the rotations first to get that result, if furina skill is activated before arle skill and burst (which usually happens) she can take arles health and giving her less bond of live and nerfing her.

I‘m fairly certain that she‘s meant to be played in a variety of ways, as she seems to be basically open to every possible playstyle in terms of reactions (Vape,Melt,Mono Pyro, Hypercarry, Burgeon, Burn even (?) with a new set…). She‘s a good generalist, as she isn‘t tied to any one particular playstyle, and supposed to make the meta diverge from Furina or at least offer an alternative to Furina. Yet I am not convinced that this is what is going to happen from that first glance at her kit.
Furina‘s buffing capability is massive, easily the highest for any one single unit, and nothing so far stops her from still applying her buff to Arlecchino even if she can‘t be healed via external sources. Part of the Furina progression was figuring out smart ways to stack her Fanfare incredibly fast and at C2 (popular constellation) this is further trivialized.
While she clearly isn‘t supposed to be another Furina extension I‘m somewhat afraid that Furina‘s a little too powerful to get her out of the meta.
We‘ve seen similiar situations in the past, let me remind you first of Yelan that just ended up teamed together with her biggest competitor Xingqui. Secondly, and more case-specific, neither Neuvilette nor Hutao should, given their kit description, have great synergy with Furina but practically they still end up doing their best (only) with her.
In order to min-max DPS parts of kits are ignored and it‘s common fashion to consider the intricacies of these kits secondarily, after ensuring the best performance of the highest damage contributor, which often ends up being Furina.
Wdym Rizzvillette shouldn’t go with Furizz? 😭 if you mean when you don’t have c1 then sure, but otherwise they are made for each other. Arlerizzo will be in my second abyss team 100%, just gotta figure out who I want to team with her :3.

Add Kazuha and Bennet into the mix you’ve got yourself a busted unga bunga NA spammer with a relatively challenging rotation but nothing too crazy if you have skill.

Exactly my thoughts. I think for the most part its because arlecchino as for now doesnt have any form of interruption resistance, but she has a passive where she converts her atk stat into elemental and physical resistance, and bennett is the best atk buffer + pyro resonance... And also chevreuse as her possible support doesnt want any other elements other than pyro and electro. But yun jin is a pretty damn strong buffer for normal attackers, especially when paired with zhongli for the geo resonance which gives you extra damage + shield strength. Zhongli himself is already the best shielder in the game, this + geo resonance helps compensate for arlecchino's fragility, and arlecchino herself cant receive healing from bennett anyway. Yunjin also doesnt force arlecchino into playing circle impact. But i guess we will see when she got released.
While Yunjin helps her, it is not that significant especially compared to Bennett, Kazuha or Chev. Yunjin have no place in Chev team and with Bennett and Kazuha you can only slot one more which usually is a slot for sub DPS mainly Yelan.
@@karashuun1083 i have tested yunjin (at c6) using ayato/yoimiya as the on field carries. Her buff is competitive with my bennett, lv13 burst with skyward blade. Also, i already mentioned about chevy not working with other elements aside from pyro and electro.
That being said, i feel like her kit, as for now, still has some holes that prevent her from having 100% synergy with popular support. She cant receive bennetts healing, she also cant take advantage from chevy's c6, and in furina teams, she doesnt seem to care about furinas fanfare stack because she just refuses to be healed, gaining stack at furinas c0 might be slower which means potential worse uptime when the stack is at its peak. Her kit might change since its still early in the beta, or probably mihoyo will sell another character that is the perfect match to support arlecchino later. (And God forbid this new character is another 4 star support that requires c6, i cant man)

It's more or less just TGS's thing to calculate and balance everything around Bennett's burst and Kazuha's swirling, even if in reality you yourself wouldn't necessarily gain that much from them, so I wouldn't worry too much about those two.
He used to do things more in a vacuum without any hypothetical buffs or "rotations" from unrelated characters, which is a shame, because defaulting to a specific, non-neutral playstyle not only makes these calculations flawed, but also gives people a false impression that some unrelated units are more vital to all other characters than they actually are.

Also the mechanism where zhongli should be the one taking the crystalize kinda make it a gambling in some scenario. Would be MUCH BETTER if anyone can take it and activate the effect, instead of "holder take crystalize then team get dmg bonus" can adjust it to "holder proc crystalize then team get dmg bonus if pick up the shard". Oh well.

All the TC work I've seen done for Arlecchino so far has used Arle/Bennett/Yelan/Kazuha for the VV vape setup. Why not Xingqiu? She could really use the defensive utility, no?

Both Arlecc skill and burst are 15s cd, running Yelan would give her team 15-16s rotation. Xingqiu will extend the rotation to 21-22s which is pretty huge dps loss.
I love normal attack users that don’t rely on skill or burst to do damage thank god. I hope Capitano is the same.

with how much the enemy hits u nowadays, it will be very annoying if she doesnt get compensated good for the lack of healing. Like now mobs r hitting u harder and harder so if she doesnt get a positive heal by herself or some defensive ability then it will be very annoying, as how furina teams sometimes feel when u dont have any defensive option in team. The not healing part is absolutely fine, because healing is mostly useless. What fucks up the healing part is Furina, because she won't synergize that well with her. Although, it might still be possible depending on how much HP is affected? I still need to see that, tho.
Being tied to Bennett is actually very dangerous for Arlecchino. Sure, she definitely needs that large atk buff to get big damage, but the issue is Bennett wont sustain her and he is circle impact with a dps who dashes, basically like a Rosaria or Lynette, which will move her out of the zone of Bennett's area. Not to mention that without Bennett's healing and relying on her healing alone, she is basically in a glass cannon team where she doesnt have HP like Hu Tao and getting melted or vaped would iust kill her. Most Arlecchino can heal is 80% since 80% is the most bond of life she can have. Actually 95% if stage 3 blood debt is recovered and followed by her burst.
Arlecchino is like a polar opposite of Dehya. Dehya is fully tank and lacks damage. Arlecchino is pretty much a glass cannon. Lacks the HP build of Hu tao and dehya and cant heal from anywhere else, nor has the utility Hu Tao has wirh blood blossom giving crit rate.
Arlecchino would be a poor matchup against rifthounds, fatui operatives, hydro tulpa, consecrated beasts oh boy, Liam, Rocky, and elemental reaction enemy lineups. Like Wanderer, she could get stunned by hilichurl arrows, yet she cant recover it without erasing pyro infusion, makes her needing Xingqiu. She needs Xingqiu more than Bennett. The cons outweigh the one pro Bennett will give her.
Yeah I don't know how she will feel to play with only Bennett that can not heal her , she may actually need another character with some defensive like xq/zhongli/dehya

If Furina is C2+, maxing the stacks isn’t really hard, and I doubt she is gonna be as fragile as many ppl make her out to be despite she can’t be healed, since her defense isn’t as low as Lyney or Ganyu (similar values to Alhaitham). If fragility is the concern when pairing her with Furina healer core, then putting her with Bennett and Kazuha doesn’t solve this issue too (as well as the lack of interruption resistance), since she can’t be healed anyway.
Don’t be that quick to dismiss Furina Jean core.
No, he is right. She can only heal herself and Furina sets her to perma 50% HP. You will be playing shieldless/healerless Attack scaler at 50% hp. And not getting Attack buffs means that the team dps is pretty low too, she doesn't have anything in her kit that gives attack.

I don't really like playing units that make me feel like I'm on the brink of death at any given moment so I'm kinda disappointed by this leaked kit. I know she'll be amazing, but she's just not my style sadly. I prefer comfy units. Bummer... 💔

I mean, that's fair but most of the dps in the game are already very safe and "traditional". It wouldn't hurt to have more units with high-risk high-reward kind of playstyle like Hutao. Gives more variety, you know

85 - 30 = 55
55/5.5 = exactly 10 hits

Also fontaine craftables already do the number as an hp value so like 25% of 20000 gives 5000 bond of life. So for her the bond of life pool should be 85% of 20000 so 17000 and from that it takes 5,5% from once and then 5,5% from whats left the next time and so on until its empty.
this makes way more sense since she is meant to be a normal attack carry and 10 hits is less than 2 NA combos with her but the 19 is 3 full NA combos.
As a Furina main, I WILL make it work. I think having C2 makes it easier.

im excited for 4.6 and as far as arlecchino goes i think the fact she doesn't syngergize well with current supports means that eventually hopefully we get new supports it gets old using the same units for every team i fully welcome new ones.

I think Arlecchino’s fragility kind of ties in with how her buff uptime works. Since her buff is tied to bond amount instead of timer, you can freely dodge without losing DPR.
Compare that to characters like Yoimiya, Hu Tao, Wanderer where if you must dodge in their enhanced state, you’ll lose potential enhanced attacks.
But if she’s hard locked to Bennett, this doesn’t matter… Guess everyone is looking to escape Bennett’s circle
I think the problem is that she can’t be healed, in abyss where some bosses can one shot you so she will need a shielder, or you need to be dodging all the time
Surely Hoyo knows by now that Bennet shouldn't be the best choice outside of the Magician since that team is specifically made for Pyro. Surely right? Right? R...?
I just clocked, she gains 40% pyro dmg bonus from her bond of life, adding the new artifact for her, she has 94% dmg bonus without a pyro dmg bonus goblet. An ATK goblet on her is not a terrible idea tbh, even without Furina.

Even though she isn't meant to be with Furina I don't like playing circle impact with Bennett. Ill probably run Arlecchino (C6 R1) with Furina, Kazuha, and Zhongli. Doesn't matter if she doesn't get full fan stacks and no healing (from C6 Zhongli shield or Singer of Many Waters) if the enemies are already dead and having Zhongli shield to protect against interruption and lethal damage is perfect as well. On top of that, having C3 Furina will help seeing as her stacks will start at a higher amount and will increase faster even though not by much due to Arlecchino's healing restrictions. I do wonder if the faster fan stacks generation and starting with 150 from Furina's C1 tops Bennett or not but I guess it doesn't matter at the end of the day. Id rather have less damage but everything still dies than to have more damage but need to stay in a circle to do it : p I feel like none of this matters because of C6 R1+ on all in the party except Furina (C3 R1) but idk. Any thoughts everyone??

Ran some tests and Bennet beats out Furina at 150 initial ff stacks by about 22% damage increase (both at Talent lvl 13). However, that is still not enough to convince me to stay in a circle. That and the fact that the Solan members put out insane dps at Talent lvl 10 and because Alechinno is going to be dashing with her skill + burst and wants to move around a lot.

Beidou looks good for Arlechino. Less damage than fishl, but much more comfort.
Welp Pyro has the most units powercreeping themselves. No new specialized supports since the beginning. Just DPS. The only reason Xiangling still maintains her spot is because she is the only one with off-field presence.
I'm not disappointed that she doesn't wanna play nice with Furina, but I hope she won't feel awkward to play without a specific support. I really can't stop when they sell characters that have issues then sell the solution through another character later. I'll wait for more info but if I don't like how she plays then it's back to waiting for Alhaitham rerun.
It seems she will have a specific support. She doesn't synergies with Furina,Bennett, Xingqiu,Kuki and Xianyun. (Will update the list if I remember more supports)
Her only viable team is overload with Chevruse, Fishcl and Kujou Sara.

bennett does indeed synergise very well with arle bc his atk buff - and no, bennett does not heal off her bond of life. preventing that is the purpose of her exploration passive. she cannot get healed from other sources than her skill.
Xingqiu... i don't even understand how you came to that conclusion. even if other healing sources could lower her bond of life, xingqiu would still work fantastically because 1. his heals are very minor, 2. his heals come at the end of the rotation where you don't care about bond of life anymore as you reset anyways. and his defensive utility could be so good on arle and *could* single-handendly fix her survivability issues. i am kinda disappointed that TGS didn't even mention that. oh, and of course all of this on top of his core identity of insane elemental application and good off-field damage.
as for kuki, well the healing thing is the same as above but she doesn't provide anything else so she isn't even considered in the first place.
and finally as for xianyun: the healing thing again as above, but she also gives really nice buffs in the form of vv and also enabling plunge playstyle (if you really want that that is)

I really like the way they designed this restriction though, they're just making the pairing harder, but you can still work around it and play even if not optimal, instead of being like Nilou where the restriction will literally make the biggest part of her kit non-functional if you pair her with non-DendroHydro.
Hey, little question. Dont you think that with all the dmg bonus she has between her kit, her set, goblet and weapon (a total of 172%) might be more worth to replace Kazuha with Sucrose? I think it might be worth more having 172% dmg bonus and 200 EM than only 205% dmg bonus

Arlecchino seems very complicated and technical to play, and might be more restricted in team comps, while Neuvillette is an extremely simply character yet amazingly powerful with very flexible team comps. Idk who to get 😭😭😭

Why wouldn’t she work with Furina? She buffs her and allows her to vaporize, while dealing much off field damage
She takes away up to 50% HP to every party member. Because Arlecchino will be around 50-70% HP usually, we’ll only count the other three party members
50% * 3 = 150 fanfare
150 * 2 (if you bring a healer, like Xianyun to shred resistances) = 300 fanfare
We have to know the rotations first to get that result, if furina skill is activated before arle skill and burst (which usually happens) she can take arles health and giving her less bond of live and nerfing her.
