yeah, totally agree. Klee was a missed opportunity, could of made her burst work off-field, but no, we're stuck with Xiangling as the only pyro sub-dps.
@@AlwaysThirstys Dehya at C1 does more damage than Xiangling easily, Xiangling just has more off-field damage. In a team like Overload where the actual elemental reaction does minimal damage Dehya is going to contribute more DMG than a Xiangling is.
I love playing dual DPS teams, I often use Raiden and Yoimiya. The rotation just naturally gets you 100% infused DPS uptime, and generally has full uptime on Chevy's buffs as well.

Raiden's banner is so tempting man you hav a complete amazing team with the 4 stars, my issue is that a super support is around the corner, I mean Xilonen and the Pyro archon as well 😢
I would say if u like Raiden so much and want to use her so get her she ain't coming soon after this banner where xilolen and archon will get there rerun just after 4 patches or 5.
Got absolutely torn when I heard that Mavuika will be in 5.3 banners for the sake of the story, but it ended up being in my favor, since I already have 160 wishes with some pity, and I still have around two and a half months to save or grind primos. Because of this, I'm thinking of picking up Xilonen for both meta and waifu reasons, who will defo become a staple support from 5.1 onwards. I can absolutely destroy my C2 archon wish plan with this, but I'd rather have fun than keep playing for meta purposes, lol.
The only downside to Raiden/Chevy I ever point out is I feel like I have to choose between Sara/XL/Bennet since each has an argument to be made for inclusion. Oh how I'd love for Mavuika to be an off-fielder/attack buffer, it'd make the decision so easy.
If Sara’s c6, I would choose her over an equal-investment Benny Sara and Chevy can make up for Benny’s atk buff, and Engulfing Lightning gives Raiden so much atk that Sara’s crit dmg buff would probably be more valuable than Bennett’s higher atk buff. Plus, Raiden gets more Resolve stacks from Sara than Bennett :]
today i first time 36 starred the abyss (as ar 59 player). I can say raiden overload helped me so much. that team is my strongest right now. I am not whale i have co rainden ,c4 bennett, c0 chev and c2 xiangling and raiden is using jade spear that is standard weapon. i really recommend building this team.
@@Moon4Tzuyu if you have strong xingqiu and xiangling - Not much. But if you want to focus only Raiden dmg in that case yes, it is way better. Overload is great reaction with chevreause. Also in overload team (if you add xiangling), xiangling may not be as great as before but still she gets all buffs. I really recommend
@@Zara-qr8nh do you have chevreuse? i have 1600 atk(chevreuse and bennett boosts further) 210ER 60:150 crit and around 100 electro dmg bonus(i may be mistaken). I have primordial spear on her the catch or skyward spears are also good. I do 170 to 220k burst and do charged atk. My team: raiden, xiangling, bennett and chevreuse. my xiangling is not good. Also I have 1/7/10 talents. Hope that helped :)
I watched this video while considering myself to be knowledgeable in genshin, especially on the Raiden-Chevy synergy but I must say that the way you expressed yourself and explained synergies was very compact, easy to understand and not excessively verbose I must say I am impressed, this was a great video!
I just got Raiden as my second 5* and i got a c1 of the gun girl as well, i do honestly love the way Raiden works and how she has some supportive capabilities with dps too.

as long as you try to dodge, chevreuse can hit 40k hp with a healing circlet, then she heals enough to make up for mistakes here and there. (healing circlet also makes her song of days past buff better, but don't farm that unless you need the geo dps set it shares a domain with) dehya is worth talking about here too, her burst fills the space of raiden's cooldown and she can increase raiden's atk with 4pc millelith and for the players who ended up getting some or any of her constellations she has increasingly good personal dmg - she is one of the two standard banner five stars with the best constellations in the game at this point. dehya also has notable energy requirements in most times, especially before c4, but raiden makes dehya's energy requirements easy to build for without sacrificing dps (and makes dehya's energy requirements negligible after c4).
I knew I wanted Chev when she first released and rolling for my C2 shogun/getting my last 2 cons for Chev on the current banner have been a blast for overload comps, I kinda accidently had a bunch of pyro / electro units leveled and geared prior to her even being announced to enable a overload meta, ever since she's graced my teams, 1 abyss chamber gets shredded, no matter what is put there. I also love running Support 40k hp Nobless Chev as well, the 60% attack bonus plus 60% Electro/Pyro bonus is absolutely insane.
Sooo I've been testing it and its been super fun AND strong, I think even more than Furina teams, how my C2 Skyward Spine Raiden has been changed by Chevy, with C1 she also help energy regeneration alongside electro ressonance and that even without that pesky Liyue chef. Teams with Fischl and Lisa for overworld fun, and also without a Bennys if desired. Thanks for the video, it was very helpful :)

I ran raiden, sara, bennet and chevreuse before i got kazuha and will probably switch back when i get c6 chevreuse. Sara's burst can trigger overload right before you swap to raiden and you still get the res shred for basically most of raidens burst

Got a c6 Chevy because I failed my 50/50 at 80 pulls and had to reinvest another 60-70 to get Raiden. Not a single Thoma tho! Great vid, can't wait to use her/Sara/Raiden/Xiangling team
I kept my Chevreuse at lv20 partly because I didn't have much resources then. And I couldn't bring myself to leveling her up because it's hilarious to 9 star some floor 12 with lv20 Chevreuse in a team. I'm running 2 pieces HP, 2 pieces HP, Fav lance, able to reach 16k HP. It's enough to not get 1 shot and she's heals 900 per tick. Fun ahh
Their has been leak that 5.2 is going to be buffing some underused reactions and it looks like overload's reaction damage is getting a 33% damage buff.

I’m torn. I’m currently maining Raiden and want Chevreuse, but I have enough for Arlecchino right now and I have a guaranteed. I have Raiden’s C1 (got her twice in the same ten-pull), and while I know her C2 is really strong, she’s plenty powerful as-is and I don’t want to accidentally get it and ruin my chances with Arlecchino.
Always been a fan of overload explosive reaction sending things flying all over the place but the dmg is kinda lacking before. Thank god i find this video. Guess its time work on Raiden again and build up Chev

The Xianyun Set works just fine on Chevreuse for buffing and healing Natlan supports will make so much better use of the new set that I wouldn't bother giving it to chevreuse
So basically , Chevreuse is the better Kujou Sara in this comp at the minimum ( But I dont even remember seeing Sara in any other Meta comps ) ? They both are on that banner and one of them is probably will count a miss from now on?
actually Sara can give buff to both xiangling and raiden... its just about her c6 that doesn't work for xiangling. so for those that need bennet in other team sara is pretty good replacement, the only things are is that at max powers of course sara cannot outperform bennet and rotation will be not so smooth, since you will need to first use e-skill to buff XL than after XL burst to use Sara's burst to buff Raiden. on the other hand... you will have an other bonus, you will not be restricted to bennet's circle. and yeah, i'm hoping pyro archon to be able to replace xiangling.. but i'm afraid she will not have snapshot...
Haven't seen videos from you in a while, but coming back, I feel I would like to give a bit of criticism and that is that I am not sure who you are making the video for. And by that I mean, do you make it for someone who already knows quite a few things about the game and the characters or someone who is more or less new to at least the characters? Because at points in the video, you go so fast that even I have trouble keeping up (mostly because I can't be bothered to remember all the artifact set names, so it always takes me a while to realize which one you are talking about if it isn't one of the really popular ones) but then you are also explaining basic parts of the character kits like what Chevreuse and Raiden even do. But tbh, maybe that's just me. Two things I do think are important though: 1) More visual clues what you are talking about when it comes to artifact sets and weapons. Again, not everyone has the list remembered and just showing how they look helps (you already have them on screen for the most part, just highligh them) 2) Avoid putting additional text on the screen. I assume your idea is that people can just pause to read if they want to, but that's not the basic viewer. Putting text on screen coupled with your very fast talking makes it hard to concentrate on either one. And since the texts aren't long to begin with, just add it to your voice over. Another minor thing might be, if you want to portray your damage, make sure that you show what the total build is. Especially if constellations are involved. Someone trying to copy it expecting similar results should at least know how far away they were from the original showcase (or at least put it in the description and make a note in the video if you don't want to clutter the screen with numbers which I can understand).
Biggest problem with Chev and Raiden is that Chev teams don't need a battery almost always, especially when Chev is c1 and running Fav (which is usually the case)
I’ve been questioning if my team is just bad since I have yet to see anyone recommend it, I use c2r1 arlecchino (main) c0r1 raiden (sup) and then chevruse and kujo, I feel like it works very well with the constant overloads with electro applications and arlecchinos constant pyro applications, I’m thinking of replacing kujo with kuki
Already C6 chevy, C6 sara and C2 raiden. I have 300 pulls saved and I'm gonna get C3 (guaranteed) and EL (50 pity), Maybe I'll consider to build Chevy If I don't have enough pulls left for the Pyro Archon :D
personally I love both LMAO, but in terms of versatility and power (or rather "account value") raiden is quite significantly more valuable than Kinich currently. Not to say Kinich isn't strong, and he's also REALLY fun to play, but Raiden fits into so many different meta archetypes, there's so many things you can do with her, she's kinda the one to pull for if you just want account power. but in terms of fun, I personally prefer kinich right now heheheheheh
This sounds whack, but I enjoy the Kuki + Chev double heals if you need Bennett on a different team. No one dies, and no need to stay in a circle. . It’s a four-star option if your Raiden isn’t built, then slot in a pyro carry. I’m allergic to hyper bloom.
Bro returning when Chev finally got a rerun 😭😭. Joking aside, I rather use Clorinde than raiden in Chev team. With Clorinde good raw dmg + self healing, I can slap Fischl as second sub DPS and fully geared Chev with HP build Noblesee and snap shot all her buff to Pyronado + Oz. Also no need to play circle impact. The only problem is energy for Oppa but the rest are great.
I just got Raiden and I also have c0 chev (c2 Thoma which is I love and c1 sara which is a meh) I use Raiden and Chev in burning team (Raiden, Emilie, Chevreuse, and kazuha)

Raiden is great in a Chevreuse overload team. Spiral Abyss needs two teams.. I have C2 Furina team handle one side, while my C3 Raiden with Chevreuse handle the other side.
is elemental mastery Raiden good for this team? I just have a lot of trouble trying to build up Raiden with energy recharge and balance the crit rates to make her do good damage, so I found easier building her full elemental mastery for hyperbloom teams, Im just wondering if that kind of build would be good for this team? cause I just got Chevreuse and Im interested and builden her for this.

A Raiden/Chevy/Sara/Dehya comp is one of my favorite overload variations, enabling a dual carry team between Raiden and Dehya
This, it was such a fun team comp swapping to both dual burst carry. Sadly, he didn't mention it here.

Have you noticed if chevreuse healing is enough on it's own to keep Raiden alive ? I really like the team, but I'd swap Benny for Sarah.

I have a similar team and the only thing that really triggers me is that I have skill issues swirling both electro and Pyro to buff xianling as well.

I’m torn. I’m currently maining Raiden and want Chevreuse, but I have enough for Arlecchino right now and I have a guaranteed. I have Raiden’s C1 (got her twice in the same ten-pull), and while I know her C2 is really strong, she’s plenty powerful as-is and I don’t want to accidentally get it and ruin my chances with Arlecchino.
Always been a fan of overload explosive reaction sending things flying all over the place but the dmg is kinda lacking before.

That would only give 12% dmg bonus though because the character has to have access to nightsoul points/mechanics to trigger the other 28%.

The Xianyun Set works just fine on Chevreuse for buffing and healing
Natlan supports will make so much better use of the new set that I wouldn't bother giving it to chevreuse

Yae Miko Raiden Bennette and Cheveruse are I believe is the strongest variation atm but is definitely harder to play then Xiangling variation.

So basically , Chevreuse is the better Kujou Sara in this comp at the minimum ( But I dont even remember seeing Sara in any other Meta comps ) ? They both are on that banner and one of them is probably will count a miss from now on?
I use Fischl, Raiden, Dehya, and Chevreuse. Dehya is an awesome pyro applicator especially at C2.
actually Sara can give buff to both xiangling and raiden... its just about her c6 that doesn't work for xiangling. so for those that need bennet in other team sara is pretty good replacement, the only things are is that at max powers of course sara cannot outperform bennet and rotation will be not so smooth, since you will need to first use e-skill to buff XL than after XL burst to use Sara's burst to buff Raiden. on the other hand... you will have an other bonus, you will not be restricted to bennet's circle. and yeah, i'm hoping pyro archon to be able to replace xiangling.. but i'm afraid she will not have snapshot...
Haven't seen videos from you in a while, but coming back, I feel I would like to give a bit of criticism and that is that I am not sure who you are making the video for. And by that I mean, do you make it for someone who already knows quite a few things about the game and the characters or someone who is more or less new to at least the characters? Because at points in the video, you go so fast that even I have trouble keeping up (mostly because I can't be bothered to remember all the artifact set names, so it always takes me a while to realize which one you are talking about if it isn't one of the really popular ones) but then you are also explaining basic parts of the character kits like what Chevreuse and Raiden even do.
But tbh, maybe that's just me. Two things I do think are important though:
1) More visual clues what you are talking about when it comes to artifact sets and weapons. Again, not everyone has the list remembered and just showing how they look helps (you already have them on screen for the most part, just highligh them)
2) Avoid putting additional text on the screen. I assume your idea is that people can just pause to read if they want to, but that's not the basic viewer. Putting text on screen coupled with your very fast talking makes it hard to concentrate on either one. And since the texts aren't long to begin with, just add it to your voice over.
Another minor thing might be, if you want to portray your damage, make sure that you show what the total build is. Especially if constellations are involved. Someone trying to copy it expecting similar results should at least know how far away they were from the original showcase (or at least put it in the description and make a note in the video if you don't want to clutter the screen with numbers which I can understand).
What artifacts should I run on Xiangling? How much ER does she need? Since I'm using the catch on Raiden, which weapon should I use for my Xiangling??
Biggest problem with Chev and Raiden is that Chev teams don't need a battery almost always, especially when Chev is c1 and running Fav (which is usually the case)

I’ve been questioning if my team is just bad since I have yet to see anyone recommend it, I use c2r1 arlecchino (main) c0r1 raiden (sup) and then chevruse and kujo, I feel like it works very well with the constant overloads with electro applications and arlecchinos constant pyro applications, I’m thinking of replacing kujo with kuki
Already C6 chevy, C6 sara and C2 raiden. I have 300 pulls saved and I'm gonna get C3 (guaranteed) and EL (50 pity), Maybe I'll consider to build Chevy If I don't have enough pulls left for the Pyro Archon :D

Damn, I still can't decide between getting Raiden or Kinich. Raiden seems more universal, but Kinich grapling looks very fun for exploration.
personally I love both LMAO, but in terms of versatility and power (or rather "account value") raiden is quite significantly more valuable than Kinich currently. Not to say Kinich isn't strong, and he's also REALLY fun to play, but Raiden fits into so many different meta archetypes, there's so many things you can do with her, she's kinda the one to pull for if you just want account power.
but in terms of fun, I personally prefer kinich right now heheheheheh
This sounds whack, but I enjoy the Kuki + Chev double heals if you need Bennett on a different team. No one dies, and no need to stay in a circle. . It’s a four-star option if your Raiden isn’t built, then slot in a pyro carry. I’m allergic to hyper bloom.

Bro returning when Chev finally got a rerun 😭😭. Joking aside, I rather use Clorinde than raiden in Chev team. With Clorinde good raw dmg + self healing, I can slap Fischl as second sub DPS and fully geared Chev with HP build Noblesee and snap shot all her buff to Pyronado + Oz. Also no need to play circle impact. The only problem is energy for Oppa but the rest are great.

Raiden is great in a Chevreuse overload team. Spiral Abyss needs two teams.. I have C2 Furina team handle one side, while my C3 Raiden with Chevreuse handle the other side.

is elemental mastery Raiden good for this team? I just have a lot of trouble trying to build up Raiden with energy recharge and balance the crit rates to make her do good damage, so I found easier building her full elemental mastery for hyperbloom teams, Im just wondering if that kind of build would be good for this team? cause I just got Chevreuse and Im interested and builden her for this.
