Well all I can remember when I was a kid. As long as you try and think your right. It will look good. I thought that was the message he was trying to put across. But then again he was a bit harsh sometimes 🤔

I need to get myself some coleus, they do really add some nice contrast against the other plants!

Yeah Peter loads of different coleus plants to choose from. I bought small plug plants years ago but took a while to get going. Go for the big ones. I looking for a really cool burgundy/purple one but not found any yet.

Matt what potting mix do you use ? Say like you have rooted your cuttings so what potting medium do you use ? A brand would be great if you can offer one , I know needs to be light good draining etc but any particular one ? Cheers mate

Hi, I use John Innes No2 potting soil 2/3 - 1/3 perlite for my root cuttings I take. If it just things like grasses or separating plants, bananas etc I use normal cheap multi purpura compost sieved to get the big lumps out. Hope this helps

Bought that same variety this year, my first coleus, love the vibrant colour 👍🏻 wondering, will you grow these on indoors from cuttings over winter? Or are your cuttings just for outdoors this summer? Enjoy the sun this weekend 🌞

You enjoy the sun as well mate. Waiting for this amazing so called ⛈️ 🌩 anytime now. I will try this year and do some cuttings and also will try and bring 2 of my best rooted ones inside and cut them right back and see how they will grow. Only problem is my misses don't like plants indoors. She will av a shock 😲

Hi there Matt great video , Is it possible to leave a cutting in water to root but all the way through winter? So from say October to May ? Obviously the rootball would be huge! But is it possible?
    Cheers mate
