A luxury car with style..... for rich people maybe and a dream car for someone. That's why limit the production to 50 units. According to Aspark, the Owl achieved a 0-to-62 mph time of 1.92 seconds, which is almost identical to the claimed time for the Tesla Roadster. Great job my friend!
Another cracking vid Martyn. Huge intakes on the front don’t look too aerodynamic. I know the brakes need cooling but what else? Surely they could close the holes and get better performance?
Good points Carel. I'd like to think they've thought of this already. I know that it can be more aerodynamic to funnel some of the air through the car...just look at the Evija. But hey, we're not design experts here! Thanks for the comment!
Aspark Owl is Fastest EV in terms of Acceleration in the World, 249 mph is God Speed for an EV, Rimac Nevera is at 258 mph, Tesla Roadster is at 250 mph both cars are development. Torodion 1MW was a concept with claimed Top Speed of 249 mph, Lucid's Air Alpha Prototype did 235 mph in Top Speed testing, Rimac C1 - 221 mph, Automobili Pinninfarina Battista - 217 mph ( Electronically Limited ), Genovation GXE - 209 mph, Drako GTE - 206 mph Claimed Top Speed, Le Mans Modified Car Record - 204 mph 😜 ⚡EV
So it's slightly slower accelerating than the Rimac Nevera (0-300) but it has a greater top speed. Is that really worth spending an extra $1.2m on? The shape of it looks nice but the front headlights and bumper look like a concept from 2005.
I can't wait to never possibly owning one in real life or my dreams. Like going off to space from the stolen work of my millions of workers and general tax avoidance . 👍😁👍👍👍
Yep, unlikely the vast majority of people will ever get to drive one! But hopefully that halo effect draws people to what EVs can do in much more affordable cars. Thanks for the comment!
Range does not matter in a car like this. All it needs to do is last for one 20 minute track session. That's probably all the tires and driver can endure anyway. But in reality it only need to make it from the hotel to the club and back, or perhaps just look good parked in your collection. Hypercars are seldom actually driven.
fuck no id have a field day with this around town..alllll day long. too bad evs arent energy dense lol nor do they charge fast enough,,,id definitely be back at a charging station in under an hour.
@@christianpearson7108 It is the fact that you _would_ drive a several million dollar car "around town all day long" that explains why you will never have one.
Thanks for the comment Bill...and you're prob right about the range. Maybe drive it on a weekend cruise every now and again, then have your butler charge it at home while sipping on a £100 bottel of wine!
Your wife commented that you can only have one love in your life so do you really want it for your birthday? 😏 I’ll wait till it can charge faster and I win the lottery.🤣
For rich people only. How come Tesla can bring a cheaper car with almost similar specs? Or, how come other manufacturers can't make these hyper cars cheaper?
Ha! Maybe some rich people can't even afford one...only for billionaires!? If Tesla ever release the Roadster then we may well see these specs for a much smaller price tag. Thanks for the comment!
Good points there, Allen...but then again this car preceded the others and it wasn't deisgned as a motorway muncher at all. But yeah, we'd be more tempted by the Rimac also! Thanks for the comment.
Manta is just jealous of Japanese car industry success. He's likely from a country whose best achievement in making cars is a motorized tricycle with a cheap Chinese lawnmower engine.

Really wish the review included MPH, and USD conversions.
Guess I’ll have to Google it..
Gorgeous.
Absolutely! Thanks for the comment!
Are you a sound engineer, look like you got some good shit in the background? Like the channel btw
Thanks for that feedback, we're chuffed! Yeah, our editor is pretty good with this stuff alright!

Thanks for that Ajinkya! That's a lot of good research! Either way, we won't be affording any of them anytime soon! Thanks for the comment!

The brochure says 178 mph. What is the right number?
Not sure what you're referring to. Just double checked the top speed on the Aspark website and it is indeed 400kmh. Thanks for the comment anyway!
@@BestElectricVehicle ok thx😅

Never ceases to amaze me howw many media trained liars that are out there selling their souls.

Or just get a few spare batteries to swap out...but that sounds like hard work! Thanks Gary!
Seems gratuitous. I'll go with the Model S Plaid.

Nice super car to have, if you have $15 to $20 million setting in the bank
