Song ended. I'm waiting for I'm Broken to start. Lmao.
Oh yeah!
Same
Spot on. Same. Made me laugh to read.
I like how his physical body slowly adapts to headbanging. He is starting to develop those moves from deep inside, you just can't escape it. What a wholesome pair of guys u are. I love it. Keep it up!
Thank you!
How this has never been a UFC fighter's entrance music is beyond me. The rounds are even 5 minutes.
Rex was (and is) so good. Perfect growling bass tone, could double any Dime riff, synced up with Vinny's fills, and played some killer stuff underneath Dime's solos.
I mean it's no wonder, he is basically the third abbot brother. He apparently used to basically live in the Abbotts house
Rex is absolutely in the pocket and still keeps it moving. In such a subtle but obvious way. Love that dudes grove
Omg!! So funny! He seemed absolutely uncomfortable and enjoyed the shit out of it at the same time!!! Amazing!!!
that poor mf did not know what to do with hes head :----D
Yeah, it totally looks like this song is touching him in places he doesn't want to be touched, but it feels good 😂😂
I agree Rex is overlooked because of Dime and Vinny’s greatness. Rex is, in my opinion, one of the best bassists in hard rock/heavy metal 🤘🏻💥🔥🙏🏻
Rex overlooked....gtfoh..Average at best
Really?! You clearly don’t have anything better to do than throw poor comments about people who are obviously better than you. If I’m wrong please direct me to your extensive discography and I’ll redact this comment.
Damn straight
@@garywillis7253 If Rex is avg at best, who do you think is great?
Well....there are alot of bassists better than him. Technically and musically.
See I’m the one of the few pantera fans that listen to them purely for Phil’s voice / growls ,
I still rate dime as one of the best metal guitarists
I don't think you're the few. In my experience, most non instrumentalist listen for the vocals/lyrics in songs more than anything else. And that's most people.
It just so happens that many metal fans are musicians, so it feels like everyone hypes up the players as much as the vocalists. Same thing with Jazz. Some music genres are more geared tword musicians. You know, the ones with interesting musicianship, lol.
One of my favorite pantera songs.
I love how this song basically just goes absolutely haywire, to end up back at the intro riff in a totally perfect and unexpected way.
Just a quick comment for the algorithm, gotta support the guys.. keep it up gents!
Dime's guitar tone was as percussive as Vinnie's snare, and with Rex's thumping base, it was an unholy amount of noise from three people. Utterly unique.
For Soundgarden, anything other than Blackhole Sun please haha
Soundgarden's best song was 4th of July. I love that down tuned guitar.
That song is so good. None more sludgy.
Limo Wreck, bro
Slaves and Bulldozers from their best album Badmotorfinger.
Jesus Christ Pose. coolest lick in all of rock
Dimebag Darrell Lance Abbott, the greatest metal guitarist in history... Period! Rest in peace Dime and Vinny Paul Abbott!
Dime is definitely one of the greats but arguably not THE greatest.
Not the greatest kid...
No there are many better...but he was the sound of pantera
As far as metal, who's better than Dime?
thats many @@brownwestmoreland1077
its the song that got me in to pantera, very accessible but huge energy
These guys are just like me and my music nerd buddies. I love it. Makes me wish I had more time to just jam and play around.
Ooooh I like this great song
Next time do This Love
This song and I'm broken is literally the audio definition of metal.
There’s an awesome video of Vinnie, Dime, and Rex at a guy’s wedding using the Wedding’s band’s instruments, and they just jump into I’m Broken and the way Dime is just getting down to it just lives in my head rent free
Might be my favorite pantera song
One of my favorite Pantera songs!
Great Pantera pick!! Yes! One of my favorites by them!
SoundGarden picks!!!!
Limo Wreck
Mailman
4th of July
May I humbly request you add "Jesus Christ Pose" and/or "Rusty Cage" to the list?
Jesus Christ pose is not a good song to introduce for soundgarden it’s too repetitive
Like Suicide for me every time. Or Slaves and Bulldozers. But to be fair, they're all good.
Like suicide, gun, I awake, loud love, rusty cage, beyond the wheel, head injury, flower, superunknown, mailman, slaves and bulldozers, holy water, room a thousand years wide, searching with my good eye closed, fell on black days, tighter and tighter, zero chance, burden hand, into the void....
5 Minutes Alone is such a great song.
Love this band and song also one of my all time favorite music videos .
Panteras back on tour,,, 🎵🎸
More PANTERA and METALLICA pleeease! Love the content🎉🎉
Pantera was a PERFECT STORM!
Domination would be a good pantera for the next one.
Awesome guys. Loved the Richard/Judson jam at the beginning. This is also probably my top fav Pantera or anything off of Cowboys album
Domination is a face melter of biblical proportions, love if they gave that one a go too
Driven fucking slaps! Vulgar straight hits! Cowboys rocks! Trendkill fucking brutal, reinventing is bad ass!
This is a must, all 4 pasionate well rounded musicians.
Hell Yeah, Vinnies band before he died, is a blast. The song "Alcohaulin Ass", "He'll of a time". Both are bangers RIP Vinnie, gone way to soon. I seen this band, for the first time, at a festival with around 10 bands, it was amazing. We got closer to Hell Yeah , and I realized it was Vinnie Paul. We were walking in the clouds after that.😎
Opeth - Windowpane. That one has no guttural singing or growling. It is also beautiful piece
Dime could play it all live, too...every last lick. I saw them in '92 with White Zombie and Crowbar, I was barely 17...it was like jamming out in my bedroom, prime air guitar but live...they never missed a step.
REX, DRUGS AND ROCK N' ROLL! FULL MEAL COMBO DEAL! GET YOU'RE PULL!
that's my pantera hype.
So based on that end conversation I think a reaction to some Sevendust songs would be fun.
Ilove his body reaction to riff, kind of akward but natural, this is good content, love the intro of him playing
One of my favorite fun facts about Dime is that he was a Nickelback fan and he even recorded a solo for them in their song Side of a Bullet
Pretty sure it was an unused solo given to nickelback and they wrote the song around the solo. Side of a bullet is literally about dimebag being killed
Sorta, he was friends with Nickelback, after his death Vinnie gave them the unused solo. Dimebag also featured in 3 Anthrax Albums.
11:15 funny because Tom Morello said the Cochise riff from Audioslave was inspired by Dime's I'm Broken riff.
I'M BROKEN
I like how you put ProceedRichard and NicolasCage in the tags, lol.
I’d love to get his opinion on anything from the Human Abstract’s digital veil album since their guitarist is classically trained.
I'm really hoping you'll take it back to '88 someday!!
Because this dude is a classical guy, show him Tina S shredding some Beethoven.
I wonder what he’d think of Scarrified by Racer X
Dime and Vinnie's band after Pantera was really good as well. I would Check out Damageplan with some notable songs being New found power or Fuck you being good choices
5 minutes alone in a fight with Phil back then? Would ve been like entering a war with a toothpick!! That man was an intimidating frontman !
Dimebag “ Fucking “ Darrell
The king of Metal guitar
Dude... It feels like no matter how many freaking times you listen this... EVERY fucking time it's like the very first time! Specially when then last chorus hit hard with the chugg guitar riff going wild till the end. Mindblowing. ykw?! It's a 'simple' song in terms of structure by Pantera's standards songwritting. No big key changes, no time signature changes at all, just one, ferocious and stupidly aggressive 4/4 groove. Just that!
I think the association with Rage was really apt. Pantera leans a lot into groove metal and Rage is obviously very groovy
You guys should check out a band called To-Mera, a song called The Lie. You will be blown away!
Should listen to This Love live 1994. You will not regret it
He's trying so hard not to break out head banging
Uuhhhhh…. Give him “Slaughtered”.
I like this guy.
Rage? Love them.
Audioslave? Meeh...
Soundgarden? Meeh..
So true.
Do strength beyond strength🙏🙏
Rebel Meets Rebel - “Nothing To Lose” Pantera with David Allen Coe 😎
Hello, I would like to hear your take on Mr. Bungle's 'Goodbye Sober Day' and 'Retrovertigo'. Thanks!
That begining lolololol
Guys, enjoy spending time with you! Check out Sepultura, just not one of those songs that already has a million reactions. Please!
Something that would be interesting to see Judd's reaction too would be some old school J.P. Like dreamer/deceiver, last rose of summer...or really anything off the Sin After Sin album.
Rex Brown is the most underrated metal bassist of all time. Change my mind
I wonder what he'll make of King Diamond. Play Halloween or Welcome Home for him.
Can't forget about Suicide Note Pt, 1!
mans gona blow his brains out when video ends
This song both confused and pleased you at the same time.
O cérebro do cara quase derreteu ouvindo a patada "5 minutes alone"
I'd love to hear him break down the music more.. maybe a wee bit of theory??
Rex so hard they didn't even have a rythm guitarist
Please do "Salt Thrower" by Slugdge, keep up the good work 🤘
Hell yeah!!!
5mins.. isn't a rip ya face off song, Richard.. Hostile and Suicide note part 2 are face rippers!
Play songs like Hearsay, Slaughtered, Mouth for War or Regular people, for some decent Hell Yeah Pantera groove! 🤟🎸🥁
You guys need to discover a bloke by the name of Devin Townsend. Do it now, thank me later.
Should try Hard Ride and/or This Love. Both would go great with piano. Papa Abbott played keyboards on Hard Ride.
Might be my favorite metal song next to The God That Failed.
it's about the misinterpretation of Phil's tatoos by the press and calling him "racist": "you use complexion of" not "the colour of".
It sure yet but do the sleep from pantera. Interested in his take on the solo
bro was trying so hard to refrain from headbanging the whole song then finally gave in at the breakdown 8:15 🤣🤣
Soundgarden - Burden In My Hand. Listen, please!!
My first time I listen this song!
This song DOES NOT NEED second verse at all to be better!
bored by "standard" second verse :)
RecommendACION :
Wintersun - Sons Of Winter and Stars (with video - LIVE in rehearsal room)
it's like Nightwish + DragonForce
Bro.. Soundgarden: Try Mailman, Outshined, Burden in my hand, Fell on Black Days and The Day I tried to Live... and AudioSlave has some great songs like I Am the Highway and Getaway Car.... but My Favorite Chris Cornell is from the Temple of the Dog Like Call Me a Dog and All Night Thing.
0:25 name of the song? i can't remember!!
I think you would enjoy the new Ren "money game part 3" !
Give Slaves and Bulldozers from Badmotorfinger another listen. It doesnt need a reaction video but Soundgarden could be pretty heavy when they wanted to be.
Hostage to Heaven by Grip Inc. and Replica by Fear Factory do deserve reaction videos though. Thanks for the videos guys. Enjoy the content.
как можно слушая эту песню не качать головой?
Soundgarden - Outshined. Thats their best imo. 🔥🤘😎
If Judson isn't really familiar with Audioslave you should definitely get him to react to their debut album one of the greatest rock album's of all time in my opinion. Chris Cornell is easily one of my favourite vocalists ever. Also Superunknown & Badmotorfinger are my two favourite album's from Soundgarden! \m/
I agree with everything you said
It was maby lacking a bit of the reaction part of the video, but still loved it
Manowar - blood of my enemies.
When you said "you can have the rest of Soundgarden," I was so offended lol. I mean we're all about respecting each other's honest opinions here, but you're testing me, dude. XD
This guy don’t realize Rage against the machine learned most of the guitar playing from the creative genius Dimebag. 😄😄😄
Would be fun to see his reaction to Seasons in the abyss from Slayer
please react to angra - carry on, brazilian metal band, your channel is amazing!
Just found the channel. Good stuff. If you do Tool again, maybe try Intermission into Jimmy. Also if you go heavy again, Tallah - Overconfidence. Banger of a track
Dude, give a listen to Soundgarden's Beyond the Wheel live. It will peel the paint off your walls guaranteed.
Not even him could help headbanging
This was the album they started to lose me. Phil pretty much committed to removing all melody from his vocals and I thought that was a shame given what a great proper singer he is. But the real issue was the same issue harsh vocals always have: they're "brutal" for about a minute, then they turn monotone and make the songs all sound the same.
SOAD and Sabaton please
How about reviewing Black Star by Yngwie Malmsteen?
Surprised you haven't done Steve Vai "For the Love of God" live with an orchestra.
This is what I sing to myself when I sneak off for a dump
Do now revolution is my name.
