I was able to see Pantera 14 times with Dimebag. (I lived in TX where they toured all the time. Saw them in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, etc.)
pasha28dio never, never once that I get to see this fucking brilliant piece of American fucking Steel.... however they live on through the house stereo in the car stereo Wherever I Go Pantera for fucking life all hail American Steel
i seen back I 96-97 or whatever year that was but i was fucked up and I've to 100 concerts in my life but that topped all of them white zombie opened up for them , and to this day PanterA is still #1
i say the same thing man i try not to watch much live footage but i recently watched a dvd made me wish i was alil older in the early 90's when pantera was just so insane and even get lucky to see their start but owell you know im just glad the music is atleast forever i do enjoy me some pantera :D
gasmaskboi19371945 I think it was a bag of joints. I've seen him put joints that were thrown from the audience in his pocket on "3 vulgar videos from hell" dvd.
Rex wasn't the most technically talented bass player but he's like shavo odajian from system tight as fuck with rhythm and never fails to be right there with it
I was born in the wrong generation, I was a baby when they were in there prime. I jamed this up in my car in my neighborhood, I was headbanging. R.i.p Dimebag, and Vinnie Paul.
Wow Phil just sounds sooooo heavy god damn. Still my favorite heavy vocalist and I think he puts so many other extreme metal vocalists to shame. Fucking Pantera FUCK!!!!!!!
Amazing. Probably the best live version. Especially after phil stopped shaving his head. This awkward length hair era was their best. Then a different kind of best was again when he did the death metal vocal phase in Korea. That whole set was out of this world.
Arkansas 501 ya I'm disabled due to a 20 foot fall breaking my back causing a Spinal cord injury at age 17, my calf mussels got polarized go threw a lot of pain!!!!!!! I walk only on my heals!, but I didn't let that stop me from driving my ass to go see Pantera live more than once!!! I'll never forget the very first time I saw Dime bag live on stage!!!!! Good time's, really good time's!!!!! never new He'd be gunned down by a nut!!!!!? but He lives in my mind forever!!!!! He was the best!!!!!!!! RIP. Dime!!!!! very glad to of lived threw those time's!!!!! and went to see them!!!!!
Shane Dahlke Oh man i'm sorry to hear that but i'm sure it was a kick ass experince being there to see em live, like i said i would do anything to be able to see them live but they were before my time which sucks but i'm glad i can enjoy what they've left behind.
ya I was about 17 first time I ever saw them after my back injury didn't let that stop me from living up my younger teen years tho!!! it was 1993 then good old 90's!!!, and I could not believe it when I was there in person seeing Dime bag with His Camo shorts on when He came out!!! Vinnie was so kick ass on the drums I just kept staring at Him!!! later in my early 20's I saw them live again outdoors battling White Zombie and who do you think won that battle!!! Pantera kicked there ass with sound and style White Zombie had all this stage crap on there stage candles with 666 and all that, as for Pantera had the whole back stage lined full with amps!!! I was standing on my chair to see since everyone else was!!! and snuck in my own joints I was smokin one rite after another!!! went alone always have!!! saw my cuson there tho, everyone but hicks loved Pantera shows!!! I as everyone else didn't know what the future held for Dime and that Band? but they live on!!!!! I'll always remeber seeing Dime in person and there shows!!! and I'm always happy to see these new to me Teens and old fans of Pantera around!!! everyone always tells me they love my Pantera bumper sticker!!!!! Glad to hear you're a new fan to!!! Rock on!!! smoke one for me and Dime!!!
how the fuck he never misses a single note from the original record. He's truly a god. RIP#dime I hate that i was born late, would've loved to see you playing live.
Saw them three times in the early 90's Newport leisure centre south Wales UK. First time supporting Megadeth and it was no competition Pantera 1 Megadeth 0. The second time was the most memorable gig, it was fantastic and the boys touring the vulgar album were so happy and up for it, an amazing night. Third time on far beyond tour Phil was on a "I hate everyone" bender and was wallowing in self pity and that gig was so fucking loud you couldn't tell what song it was! It was still way better than any gigs we get today, fuck it was loud no lie you could feel your face move with sound like G-force🤣🤣great memories and they will not be forgotten, God it was loud AF. 👊
thank you poster, I was at this concert an saved my ticket to prove it as with all pantera concerts in the sf bay area after I first saw them open for skid row! This brings back great memories, nothing can come close to the energy of a pantera concert in their prime!
Love PANTERA, I was in a band in the Dallas Ft Worth area while they were huge. I saw Phil going crazy in the bathroom at Dallas City Limits once. He's a crazy fuck. lol. I still can't believe Dime is gone. Some of the best shows I've ever seen.
Saw them open for Metallica"Far Beyond Driven"the only time I got too, sadly, but,,,,,, 1. They blew Metallica away........ 2. They blew Metallica away,,,,, 3.They blew Metallica away,,,,,, 4. I seriously cannot dislike that even though I'm jealous af
Brandon coulson I saw Rob Zombie and when he started playing White Zombie songs it was one of the craziest pits I’ve seen in my life.
How could you see them without Dime?
1:29 Phil knows the deference between flying garbage and a flying demotape with a joint
So badass !! Haha
Hahaha best comment
Holy shit. Ffs, why the fuck was I born so fucking late?!
i say the same thing man i try not to watch much live footage but i recently watched a dvd made me wish i was alil older in the early 90's when pantera was just so insane and even get lucky to see their start but owell you know im just glad the music is atleast forever i do enjoy me some pantera :D
i seen them live 4 times 101 proof pavilion only show was the most brutal insane show i ever seen by far
Loki Laufeyson live the lifestyle brother support the music where the clothing hate the fakes... never too late to enjoy and support the steel
Phil has a great attitude from getting stuff thrown at him.
*Catches object*
*Nods in appreciation*
*Puts object in his pocket*.
And kill those guy later
gasmaskboi19371945 I think it was a bag of joints. I've seen him put joints that were thrown from the audience in his pocket on "3 vulgar videos from hell" dvd.
LPPL123 YOU KEEP THIS JOINT, BAG, LOVE, SCAR. YOU KEEP THIS JOINT... JOINT... JOINT
And you should see how Dave Mustaine reacts to stuff being thrown at him...
George Zoorob Jr or axle.......lol

I noticed how nobody brings up this tight assed rhythm section!!..Vinnie and Rex were working fuckin overtime dudes!
Rex wasn't the most technically talented bass player but he's like shavo odajian from system tight as fuck with rhythm and never fails to be right there with it

God DAMN they were tight as fuck. Unreal.
Gotta love how Phil transforms from that psychotic smile at 1:58 to screaming "my past" with full power! Real aggression going on there!
Psychotic smile indeed 😂
I love how he just catches what was thrown at him nods then proceeds to put it in his pocket
It was a doobie 🧐
Wow Phil just sounds sooooo heavy god damn. Still my favorite heavy vocalist and I think he puts so many other extreme metal vocalists to shame. Fucking Pantera FUCK!!!!!!!
James Maurer agree. hes the BEST. Not just vocals but he OWNS THE SONG. FULL COMMITTED AGGRESSION ☆✋✊✊👌
