Late 90’s early 2000’s too, it was arrested 2010 maybe he started to lose his voice but he can still go when he is determined, if you watch he constantly checks his ear piece now when he wants to really nail a song

Phil is a man of conviction and that should be really obvious. He may not make popular choices but he sticks by them and tries to be honest, and i personally give him a lot of credit especially in this age where a lot of people cant seem to accept others for who they are as much as they should.
Now, if you look to your left, you will see a real metal band, that I can consider as heavy as hell and with riffs that are twice as thick.. this, my friends, is real heavy fucking metal. Awesome stuff man!
I'm so glad I saw DOWN live in 2009, Phil Anselmo was in such a great shape during that tour... a shape we will never see him in again. I sadly feel like the voice of _the kid_ is gone for good.
i was lucky to see Down in 2013 in Donington,where he still got it. My opinion as more than 25 years fan from Philip and Pantera ,is, that he need to quit doing Panteras songs,but keep focus on his projects.Have you heard the En Minor, Philip's recent project?This is how i've been imagine Phill should sound like.

Man Anselmo was the king of the world in this live. His voice is sooooo good. I never ever seen a live of Down this good, even back in the days.
