What a relief to listen to two experts explaining, in layman's terms, what happens during inflammation of the brain.

I’m learning that my PTSD symptoms closely resemble the functional brain 🧠 injury of a concussion

Please do an episode on myalgic encephalomyelitis. I’m learning a lot of the symptoms are secondary to inflammatory processes in the brain. This disease is devastating and gets very little attention despite it being a more common disease than MS.

I just love you guys. So much excellent evidence-based info, love the willingness to say when the research hasn’t been done yet. And you’re so sweet with each other. Hugs. ❤️

Re: sources of chronic low grade inflammation and Alzheimer's disease: I am finding published research linking periodontal disease and AD, via Porphyromonas gingivalis. I would love to hear your thoughts about periodontal disease and brain health. (Thanks for all you're doing!)

I have Arachnoiditis. I believe it is autoimmune related. Maybe I should see a neurologist.

Can brain inflammation cause heavy and BURNING headaches.. that find relief when I tilt my head.. basically when my head is lower than my shoulders?? I need to lay down in a “bat position “ in order to find relief … Is there a connection?

Interleukin 4 yourself, lol. More seriously, you say it's important to be aware of the brain damage that can be caused by indolent viral infections. But, say you are a carrier of HSV, which as you said is ubiquitous - is there anything specific you can do about it (on top of what you should do for brain health anyway)? How is being aware of it going to help?
Finally, Ayesha, what are you drinking? :)

Chronic inflammation, depression, migraine and tinnitus. Therapy does not work.
