I do believe she was on American got talents, several years ago. And eventhough she didn't get "that far" she did enough to make her known to the public and she continued her hard work and today is very popular.
I'm recently saw her live at Red Rocks where she was hanging upside down, 20-ish feet above the stage and playing the violin while spinning. She's truly incredible
She did this in the Americana in Glendale, California. The backdrop with the water is a daily setting, but they they must have set this all up for her ahead of time without the public knowing. I wish I had been there honestly. Would have been an even of a lifetime for me.

it's a great song and they do an amazing job of it...but Lindsey in this one is basically just sitting there while she plays. I love the song and Lizzy Hale is fantastic and really does this well..and the duo of Lindsey and Lizzy really is awesome...but if you want Lindsey Stirling to be Lindsey Stirling this is not the one for you!
Look at the story. Pirate crew. She fights off mermaids. Then the god of the sea shows up with his trident and brings forth the leviathan. This was a crazy video.
She was dismissed from America's Got Talent, and was told her style wouldn't take off..... She now has 3-4 albums and a bunch of singles. And my next fav artist after Linkin Park/M.Shinoda.
My favorite is either "Roundhouse Rival" or "Elements" Fun fact she was on americas got talent and didnt make it. So now she had a cool couple million subscribers, several CD's, and sells out areas. And she did it cuz... well watch the video. Electronic violin and dance. Amazing.
I do because i saw Lindsey talk about it. It was a lot! The UE BOOM team were amazing in details that went into it. She said they did a handful of rehearsals while section was closed to public becauee of Maintenance they said. Giving them time to practice and setup Everything. Lindsey said rehearsals were good but had few troublesome spots. After she said it was 1 of her best performances and the stars must've aligned because it went Flawlessly.
Still amazing to me that she was on America's Got Talent was told she couldn't make. Then went solo and sold over 2 million albums then got invited back onto AGT. Sometimes the ones who try and cut you down are the stupidest of the lot....

Derek Hough! He and Mark Ballas have been my favourite DWTS dancers (and Lindsey of course when she was Mark's partner a few years ago).
