That's what buffalo wings are, at least where I live, albeit it's usually a specific type of hot sauce (Louisiana style), mixed with butter. I don't think I've ever seen anybody make the hot sauce from scratch too. I'm sure you could, but with the enormous variety of amazing hit sauces in the market, the chances of nailing your own scratch hot sauce that's better than bottles are kinda slim IMHO.
@@gianni_descalzo here in buffalo its actually a lot more simple than that we use one type of hot sauce (Franks) and if you want it less hot you add in melted butter and that is it but if you want to make it better add in honey and cook it together then toss the wings in the sauce
I'm still waiting on them to grab that clip from World's End where the three drunks yell BASIL and Filch (I forget his name) perfectly gives the "SHUT UP YOU NOBS" look.
I could honestly listen to James talk with the chef's table music in the background forever.... There's not even a need for it to be food related, a shopping list or just a list of random things would probably sound just as hypnotizing!

Oh man, I'd love an ultimate tea battle. I recently started cooking with tea and putting it in desserts, so I'm wondering what kinds of twists you would put on it. How would you make tea a very prominent flavour, in both sweet and savoury dishes? You guys are amazing as usual! Ben as Colonel Sanders = "Ben"tucky Fried Chicken!
Hate to say it but Ben finally did it, he finally taught Barry, Jamie and Mike how to cook and it only took what like 7 years... You guys are some of the best keep it up.
You mean when they welcome you to sorted ultimate battles? Where three life long mates go head to head to head to cook the ultimate dish around a theme? Where their friend and chef Ben will judge them on taste but ultimately you decide who is victorious? Let's do this?
Regarding the CT question and the subject of roasting whole chickens, I always butterfly them to ensure that the breast and leg meat are done at the same time. Everything always ends up perfectly juicy and never dry. Conveniently, also decreases the overall roasting time of the whole bird to roughly 45 minutes to an hour, the same as a bed of chopped root vegetables, which means that I can simply butterfly the chicken and prepare it as I usually do (rub a mixture of ghee, salt, and fresh thyme beneath the skin), lay it directly on top of mixed root vegetables that have been tossed in duck fat, salt, and pepper, and then roast the whole lot. Couldn't be easier and it feeds me for days! Plus I get a roasted chicken carcass for stock.
This is my favourite battle I think. So many proper laugh out loud moments! All the food looks delish! The big NOPE as Barry is trying to explain chicken is hilarious!
