If you guys are wondering how to delete click on the clip you want to remove and go to edit on the top left and click "Clear"
Then you can move the clip where ever you want or just leave it

you can get rid of the faded part changing the duration of your video (it worked for me cause the part i needed to get rid of was at the end of my video). you can do that going to > composition settings > duration, and then applying the right time. i hope this helps

So, there's 100 keys on the keyboard, one of them is the delete key, I have no idea which one, because I was never shown or told what it is to begin with.
I've never used Adobe or anything like this before ever, so I have absolute, complete zero familiarity with this program.
I don't know what the delete key is, I need someone tell me what the exact delete key is, so I know what key I'm hitting on the keyboard, thank you.

Yeh it will split the clip from where you want to cut it, then go to the end of where you want the clip to start again and split it again and delete the middle section you don't want to keep
